Lily Madigan and Aisling Musson are asking for 'screenshots and evidence of transphobic behaviour' so they can make Labour 'a truly safe space for all members regardless of their gender identity or lack thereof.' In other words, doxxing people so they can be thrown out of the party for gender-critical views.

The group write-up is:

A group formed to oppose the rising tide of Transphobia in the UK Labour Party and to seek to make the Party a truly safe space for all members regardless of their gender identity or lack thereof.

PLEASE READ THE PINNED POST

If you have screenshots and evidence of transphobic behaviour please put them in the google drive folder rather than offloading them straight into the group as it may otherwise be overwhelming and trans members should have the option to not have to look at upsetting comments.

Do not add anyone unless you are sure that they:

  1. Are a member of the Labour Party
  2. Believe the basis of gender is self-definition
  3. Think that transphobia is grounds for expulsion from the party
  4. Respect the autonomy of trans people to direct the fight against transphobia (I.e will not take decisions against the will of trans people)

If you are a trans and/or non binary person and you would like to be added to the secret group (trans/nb people only) please message lily madigan or aisling musson and we will add you.

Rules:

  • No advocacy for violence, threats of violence of other illegal acts (quite apart from the morality of it, please do not get this group shut down)
  • This is a not a discourse group. If you do not agree that transphobia is bad, that the Labour party has it and that we should fight it, this is not a group for you.
  • Be respectful. As far as possible, please always be friendly, respectful and comradely and treat others as you would wish to be treated.
-No members of other parties.
  • TERF is not a slur.

One of the weirdest things about this whole thing is that, despite the 'pretty contact data' tweets, the arse clenchingly awful TV appearances, the seemingly dead serious claims that they can get pregnant and now this, that people are still 'hunning' LM and seem to whole heartedly support them?

I don't get it? How can these people be so blind and so thick? Do you think deep down they know this is all a load of shit but the need to virtue signal and show everyone how 'inclusive' they are is stronger?

It's like something off Life of Brian. Only instead of the goal being to get to heaven after you die, the goal now is to be seen by everyone on your social media as 'kind'. That's it. Nothing else matters.

Thehairthebod · 22/01/2018 09:42

Yes I think LM (insert whichever first name you feel is more appropriate) may well be trolling to expose the ridiculousness of the left.

AnachronisticCorpse · 22/01/2018 09:44

The whole thing is farcical.

At least it would be if it wasn’t so bloody horrifying.

AnachronisticCorpse · 22/01/2018 09:47

I would also like to add that the nonsense term ‘transmisogyny’ is making me dry retch every time I read it. Talk about appropriation.

Elendon · 22/01/2018 09:50

I think it's a concerted effort to get rid of AWS. It may have some traction, but it will not succeed.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 22/01/2018 09:53

I'm not sure where Jennifer James got this, but it is very noticeable that it is almost entirely males.

ico.org.uk/concerns/

Here is a link to the information commissioner. The Labour Party appear to have a problem with the security over their data. I would urge anyone whose personal details were disclosed on the link to take it up firstly with the Labour Party and then with the information commissioner.

There is a template letter for raising this with the organisation here:
ico.org.uk/for-the-public/raising-concerns/

It is unclear whether anyone not directly affected can also make a complaint.

CertainHalfDesertedStreets · 22/01/2018 09:56

I think Lily and their compatriots think that the purge of wrong thinking people from the Labour Party is a moral duty, and their noble quest. I think Lily may think that the Labour Party might supports Lily's actions

I think Lily and his friends think that one of the greatest movements for social justice in the world, set up by men and women of enormous integrity and towering intellectual prowess is there entirely to facilitate them wearing lipstick in an effort to get back at their parents. I sincerely hope that they can be disabused of this notion.

Lily - if you're here - Google 'Aberfan'. That's what the labour party is for.

RedToothBrush · 22/01/2018 09:57

Why the fuck is James Cleverley anything to do with a Labour group whether it be Labour against Transphobic or Labour against Ticking Crocodiles?

Pickleshickles · 22/01/2018 09:58

I'm a member and I really don't want to give up my membership, I do believe in the (published) aims of the party but this shit is giving me the rage.

Does anyone know how I can complain?

Elendon · 22/01/2018 09:59

As I said in another thread, I know one of them and he is a hypocrite because he has been critical of AWS in the past.

Someone donated to Jennifer James' campaign in his name, which he only found out about because I put it up on Facebook and he commented on it. It wasn't me though. I'm not that stupid. Obviously one of my friends did it - and I have many who are Labour members. They obviously know him. Well.

And I can't be doxxed because I've been open and clear about this campaign of Jennifer James. But if I'm ever excluded from rejoining the Labour Party, I will have words.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 22/01/2018 10:00

I think you are probably right.

BeyondWW · 22/01/2018 10:10

"Lily - if you're here - Google 'Aberfan'. That's what the labour party is for."

Yy :( my grandad dug children out of the rubble there. I wouldn't upset him by showing him the mockery LM and cronies are making of the Labour Party Angry

321namechange · 22/01/2018 10:10

Red I wondered that and think you have the wrong JC. There is a James Cleverley Welsh Labour member - student.

RedToothBrush · 22/01/2018 10:13

Ah that seems to explain it.

And of course the aim is to bully everyone who disagrees with this out of the Labour party.

You are damned if you leave and damned if you stay and comply. The only option is to stay and fight it, if you think it wrong.

AnachronisticCorpse · 22/01/2018 10:16

My paternal grandparents were from Mountain Ash, some of those children were the siblings of boys my Dad grew up with.

Beachcomber · 22/01/2018 10:16

The Labour party have no idea what they have got themselves into by letting this young man in. They really need to nip this in the bud right now. He's already made them look like clueless misogynists. Now he's making them look like clueless misogynists who can be used to promote an anti-woman agenda of harassment and thought policing.

Wake up Labour and do something about this quickly because it has the potential to do serious damage to the party's credibility even with people who don't care much about women's rights.

ShoesHaveSouls · 22/01/2018 10:26

I think that ^ is possibly the most insightful, accurate and excellent summing up of this (crazy) situation.

The LP need to sort this out.

nauticant · 22/01/2018 10:28

You were sensible to urge caution about taking screenshots as genuine ItsAllGoingToBeFine. At some point, fakes are going to appear as deliberate misinformation. The Jennifer James list above makes my eyebrows rise so far they're tickling the back of my neck.

Hammerofthetwat · 22/01/2018 10:33

I’ve just joined here, I’m on twitter though. I think I know a few of you from twitter. I’m going to the press, if you want in, can you guys message me? I don’t know how this works, or find me on Twitter and message me. I’m trying to get a journalist to take this story. There’s two parts; the corruption, and the erasure of biological women. The Copyist knows me from Facebook and Twitter. If you guys can get in touch, I have no tribal loyalty to labour, and have worked with the press many times exposing antisemitism in the party. I know this thread is being watched, yes that’s how shit Labour is under the hard left, so keep it off line if you can help. Many thanks. x

Badweekjustgotworse · 22/01/2018 10:36

This whole poor me I’m only 20 and so young and vulnerable shit is in direct conflict with the lobbyists’ narrative of letting children transition as early as they express their first desire to regardless of how young they may be. Confused

Nousernameforme · 22/01/2018 10:40

Why is this not being picked up by any media. I've googled and found literally nothing other than this thread. Not even buzzfeed have something on this.

This is an actual serious problem, data breaches, discrimination and thought control. Why it is just being ignored?

Gileswithachainsaw · 22/01/2018 10:47

Probably hoping it will just blow over if they stay quiet long enough.

Probably engineering a cover-up as we speak too. And trying to make everyone look bad so no one cares anyway

Butterymuffin · 22/01/2018 10:51

Labour won't be able to just ignore legal action about breaching data protection, surely?

Gileswithachainsaw · 22/01/2018 10:52

Well they didn't care about legalities hiring him in the first place did they.
