Notable though, how many commenters beneath made a point of saying "live and let live".

How a person can read an article with multiple examples of men issuing violent threats to women and respond with 'live and let live' is astonishing.

That is exactly the attitude that allows the violence to prevail.

Why the hell no condemnation? Who wants to allow a live and let live approach to any violent ideology?

Yup, this is a good thing. Wings has a massive readership. I'd seen him getting increasingly incredulous on twitter, and hoped he would hit peak trans and write something.

Lol -Wings is a thorn in the side of Scotland’s politicians and Sturgeon is unlikely to respond to anything tweeted by him.

He's been accused of transphobia (for supporting women re gender ID) and is currently suing Kezia Dugdale (former leader of Scottish Labour) for defamation for accusing him of homophobia. It has been speculated that's one of the reasons Kez went on I'm a Celebrity - she needs the money.

I appreciate you loathe all things SNP Lass. I'm more than happy to harness all views in this case, because the 'left' have thrown us to the lions. If the SNP start to realise that they will lose women voters over this, that's a plus in my view. As it is, I won't vote for them while they support Self ID and I'm certainly not the only one.

Not sure Barracker. I have friends who are pretty dedicated to the cause on both sides of the Indy debate. I tend to run like fuck away from it these days, but will investigate on this issue.

Have to say I am very dismayed that the SNP are pursuing this without any real investigation. I intend to respond to the consultation in the next week or so though. I suppose they should have some credit for doing that at least.
