Well, whoever is mentoring Lily in the Labour Party is doing one crap job.

I'd be asking the following:

• How can you represent all women fairly when you are taking money from certain individuals or groups who may want something in return? How do you ensure that this money does not come from special interest groups who may seek to influence you?

• Have you declared these sums of money and the identity of the donors to the Labour Party? Do you even know the real identities of the donors? And can you see how problematic that could be?

• Why don't you get a paid job and finance yourself?

The mere fact that Lily hasn't even stopped to consider any of the above (and clearly hasn't sought or received any advice on it) before soliciting personal donations demonstrates very clearly how Lily should not be holding any position of responsibility right now.

I changed my name on my paypal literally a couple of weeks ago. No new ID needed, just a copy of the document with the CoN on it. My ID still "deadnames" me as I'm not paying to amend my passport til it needs renewing.

So either Lily has not changed Lily's name to Lily after all (despite having previously claimed to have done so) or Lily is a big fibber who is posting sobstories to get free cash.

Same here. It's fairly clear that Lily is being used as a test case on the part of one Labour faction to ensure that self-ID is de facto Labour policy. Because so much of what Lily says is a lie. Lily Madigan is the avatar of Liam Madigan, who has taken, so far, no medical or legal steps to change identities. It's all on Lily's/Liam's say so.

The name change thing is ridiculous. Changing your name officially is easy (you can do it for free online - they generate the deed poll documents which you can send to anyone) - then it's just money here and there perhaps for a notarised version, or for new copies of driving license/passport/whatever. Ie. it's mainly hassle telling people, rather than hoops to actually do it or money.

If Lily wanted to be Lily, they could do it right now, and have all the matching ID. So they're either lazy, or they can't be bothered to google or ask someone (ok, so that's just lazy as well) - frankly doesn't improve my opinion, if it could get any more disapproving.

It is a 19-year-old boy who, recently identifies as a woman and has been given the voluntary job of a Labour constituency’s women’s officer.

He is immature, misogynistic, militant and clearly has issues. There is a feeling he is being manipulated by an older man Who was instrumental in his appointment.

That's the problem I have with the lack of ID as Lily. Yes, the WO post should be a woman, within Labour guidelines.

Lily can't even open a bank account as Lily, yet Lily gets to represent women in public office.
