(Yes, it's the DM - because it's one of the only news sources which is balanced on the trans issue)

Saint Caitlyn has a book coming out in which she reveals that she HAS had gender reassessment surgery. I think a few people on here thought that they hadn't.

Anyway, the DM have some interesting pictures which show how trans surgery works.

As always, the comments are very telling... Fair play to the DM for keeping them open!

Does anyone else see the double meanings at play in these names?

Anna Lee (anally)
Paris Lees (Paris Sleaze)

GuardianLions · 13/04/2017 15:44

Yuk! Just gross datun

I know. It's really sticking two fingers up, isn't it. Hiding in plain sight.

GuardianLions · 13/04/2017 15:48

Very porn star. Like they are starring in their own elaborate narcissistic porn movie.

GuardianLions · 13/04/2017 15:49

And dragging everyone else into it

CharlieSierra · 13/04/2017 15:53

Don't forget Stephonknee, trans 6 years old who enjoys being anally penetrated by her adopted 'father'

Datun · 13/04/2017 15:55

They think very long and hard (see why did there) about their new names. Do they think people won't notice?

GuardianLions · 13/04/2017 16:07

I saw on another thread a picture of an Mtt at a women's march holding up a sign saying "Transwomen are real women" or something and he had called himself 'Boobs Legsly'.
So vile, but I think it is all part of their fantasy of being a gorgeous male-fantasy 'girl'.

ButtonmushroomEx · 13/04/2017 16:08

I felt the same kind of twinge when I looked at the Reddit site posted earlier down the thread.

I wonder what the % of women showing their splayed vulvas on the site is of the total female population, and in comparison the % of post op to the total post op community?

Seemed like a lot of people can't wait to get their reconstructed vulvas out for a public photo opportunity...

If Anna Lee is a lesbian then I'm a billy-goat named Mike.

Sheesh.

What a time to be alive.

I don't believe that women, human adults with jobs families, and their own problems are really sat around wringing their hands about men they don't know who may have dysphoria.
I'm not sure hand wringing is the right term, but I do feel sorry for people who are so uncomfortable with the body they were born with that they need to go through massively invasive and debilitating surgery to turn it into a facsimile of something else. It's very sad.
TRAs often say they hope none of our children turn out trans I freely admit I would hugely struggle if any of my children felt they needed to chop bits off or add bits to their bodies. They are perfect as they are. Surely all parents feel that?

Datun · 13/04/2017 18:09

Too true. Judging by the parents who post on here whose children are trans, it's devastating.

It's easy to flip flop between compassion and rage over this issue.

Autogynephiles bring out the fury in me. But young women transitioning in order to protect themselves from abuse or objectification, only bring out compassion in me.

Even ego who posts on here has that effect. Part of me is irritated by the underlying premise of her narrative, yet sometimes I feel like I want take her out for a beer and help her.

As I've said, many times, it's not personal. And I do think there is a difference between androphilic and gynephilic transwomen.

But idiot teenage boys who gaslight girls into discussing periods as if they have them - there just aren't enough swear words, I'm afraid.

I want to take issue with something that Rawr said up thread.

I posted a site called antifemale receipts. They gather together examples of rage and misogyny.

Rawr said that she couldn't take it seriously because it's just teenagers.

This happens a lot. When you point out these revolting people, you're told they don't count, for one reason or another.

This isn't logical. If paedophiles went onto Facebook and discussed the merits of a three-year-old they would be blocked and banned. The corners of the Internet are where these people lurk. It doesn't mean they don't exist.

And being a teenager does not preclude you from violent crime. A quick look at America in the last few years with gun toting teens massacring their classmates demonstrates that.

Predatory, revolting individuals exist. Whether they are on tumblr, Reddit, or hiding on the dark net. By necessity, they don't post articles in the mainstream media or go on moderated websites.

The specific example I gave lead Rawr to believe that person was a teenager. Firstly she has no way of knowing how old they are. And secondly what difference does it make? It is precisely these people whether young, middle-aged or ancient who are the threat.

Sorry, it's been bothering me. I wanted to get it off my chest (sorry breast).

CharlieSierra · 13/04/2017 18:35

'The worst sex I ever had was with men who were accepting me as a woman instead of experiencing me as a woman. Having sex with men who are experiencing me as a woman tends to have a reward component to it that goes beyond the experience it self'

So basically experiencing me as a woman = doesn't know, and 'being a woman' during sex is what is the turn on. Hmm

venusinscorpio · 13/04/2017 18:37

I agree. Antifemale Receipts is chilling and horrible. I'm not sure why she dismissed it, I can only imagine that it's inconvenient for her to acknowledge the misogyny. Plus as so many social media users are young, they are vulnerable to this kind of abuse on the specific sites they frequent.

Datun · 13/04/2017 18:51

venusinscorpio

I know. The bit that really upset me about that comment I posted was the girl he was abusing was 15. Which he knew. But what made it infinitely worse, was she wasn't even surprised.

WobblyLegs5 · 13/04/2017 19:01

BMac I have sympathy for anyone with gender dysphoria (rogue just because it's not something I'd worrying about doesn't mean I don't have sympthy) must be a miserable problem, but it's not up to me to provide the solution- and this is what's important imo, women don't have to step aside and accommodate men just because a few of them are having a shitty time of it. We don't need to risk our safety and put our own best interests to one side just to give them a solution to their problem. That's not our job & we do not need to appease men by taking on that role. And we do not need to worry about offending them by saying this.

OnTheUp13 · 13/04/2017 19:02

The vagina is an elastic, muscular canal with a soft, flexible lining that provides lubrication and sensation. The vagina connects the uterus to the outside world. The vulva and labia form the entrance, and the cervix of the uterus protrudes into the vagina, forming the interior end.
The vagina receives the penis during sexual intercourse and also serves as a conduit for menstrual flow from the uterus. During childbirth, the baby passes through the vagina (birth canal).

Definition of a function vagina. So CJ does not have a functioning vagina unless all a vagina is meant to do is receive a or is

OnTheUp13 · 13/04/2017 19:02

BigDeskBob · 13/04/2017 19:04

I know I'm jumping back a bit, but its important to remember that many, many MTT do not undertake any form of genital surgery. I found this from last summer

www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/society/2016/jul/10/meet-the-gender-reassignment-surgeons-demand-is-going-through-the-roof

That says that they are fewer than 12 surgeons that perform the surgery, and two thirds, so max 8? perform surgery on MTT.

The surgeon in the piece, said he's performing 4 a week. So very few people are having major surgery. I suspect that when many MTT talk abut surgery, they mean facial, breast and buttock surgery.

GuardianLions · 13/04/2017 19:24

Datun I'm in agreement that teenagers can be dangerous, but I have also been surprised that the men caught and convicted of abuse and harassment using social media aren't usually teenagers - even if what they say seems juvenile in its lack of self-monitoring. There seems to be men in their 30s and 40s up to it too - maybe i'll look for links later

Datun · 13/04/2017 19:47

Bob

And that's why they have decided that it is 'rude' to ask. 'Oh my God you're obsessed with my genitals'.

They have cottoned on to the fact that now people are realising that most transwomen remain attracted to women and retain their male genitalia. And have a fetish.

Hence India Willoughby trying to distance herself. But then having to backpedal like mad because of the abuse she received from trans people.

They must think women are idiots.

They have absolutely no idea how women's radar are acutely attuned to the male threat.

GuardianLions · 13/04/2017 19:48

I don't know if I feel comfortable with the term 'gender dysphoria'. 'Sex dysphoria' maybe, either because someone is a gay/bi (with internalised homophobia) or autogynophile male or is a lesbian (with internalised misogyny/lesbophobia) or straight/bi woman (with internalised misogyny) and for that reason doesn't like/feel at home with the sex charicteristics of their own body. But gender dysphoria? If you subscribe to it, you subscribe to gender as a real thing.

I think internalised misogyny, internalised homophobia/lesbophobia, body dysmorphia, autogenophilia and depression should be understood for what they are in their own different ways, not shoved under an umbrella of 'gender dysphoria' which is all to easy to be railroaded into a diagnosis for in the current climate.
