Imo her being 'sick' and then CE leaving afterwards without saying a word to her, and her seemingly not questioning him when he had a sudden attack of guilt and stopped having sex with her says to me that she was unconscious/didn't know what was going on throughout the whole debacle.

Even on a one night stand, if the other person stops sex suddenly and starts getting ready to leave, you would ask the person why/what was going on. You wouldn't just shrug,turn over and go to sleep as they walked out of the door. She was totally out of it and unable to consent, no doubt about it in my mind.

Carrie Rowan Pelling wrote a good article the other day in the Torygraph, Jean Hatchet started the gofundme, Julie Bindel was very vocal....

Public sympthy sadly seems to be with Ched a bit. A lot of people still beleive not guilty means everything the prosecution said in the case is blatantly not true.

I agree it does sound like that.
Can anyone tell me why it is allowed to take evidence from bribed people, especially when there has been time to tell them what to say to match what CE had said happened?

I also find it strange that a footballer would need to resort to (raping) a poor drunk/drugged teenager to get sex - one that a friend has got into a bed ready for him.

Kind, rapists don't rape just to get sex. They do it because they get a kick out of violating another person's boundaries.

That was Ched Evans' first incredulous defence, "why would I need need to rape - I can have any woman I want".

What is Masseys motivation here. What does he have to gain?

Maybe she refused to leave him, so he sees it as preferable that she's with an acquitted rapist than a convicted one.

Or maybe he's just another arsehole who doesn't understand the meaning of consent. Maybe he's the kind of man who would do the same.

This blogpost says pretty much what I think with a couple of exceptions about the type of men who think what Evans did was ok.
