I live up and down doubting my take on reality on a daily basis right now, it doesn't help to read threads like that. But thankfully I'm not living in a difficult situation anymore . Some poor women are.

Sure, it didn't sound like a good plan, but it's a dairy item, doesn't warrant that kind of response.

A small irritation today - was watching The Jungle Book (Disney cartoon version) with dd and got so annoyed at the way the elephant herd is portrayed. A male elephant leads the herd and the only female is his wife in supporting role. Elephants are matriarchal and live in female family groups!

I was reading a fb group post and there was a comment about children should be left with "any man" some people got offended others said it was class analysis.

This is where the pedant in me comes out 'men' is the collective term for males, 'any man' is saying every single individual male.

Am i alone in this opinion?

Yes. Any men sounds like it's plural to me and I would want to specify a man on their own. Don't know if I'm correct though
