Yes, I think that - just as women (generally speaking) internalise misogyny, gay men probably (generally speaking) internalise homophobia. Because we all live in a misogynist homophobic world.

True, Countess - 80% may be an over-estimate but I do think it is true of some MTTs in this country, particularly those actually attempting to live as women full-time, as opposed to those 'identifiers' just taking the piss like Danielle.

The comments on that Daily Mail article are interesting... Some of them say 'What if the roles were reversed, would a man be allowed in the ladies?' And it's said in a way that implies 'of course that would never be allowed'. So many people just aren't aware of what is happening.
