I think if I'd been as feminist when I first watched The Pack as I am now, I'd've given up on Buffy. Which would've been bad and wrong.

I have to say the vampire makeup is a little cheesy. Also, if my high school library looked like that, I'd never have left it.

Can I have the spot nearest the fire this evening? The heating is broken at work and my office was hovering around the 15C mark today.

For as long as there are targets and a goat, there will be ammunition. You can, pretty much fire anything out of a cannon as long as you have explosive. So, goat turds aplenty to fire at the butts of patriarchy. From one butt to another.

I really ought to try Buffy again but I was put off by the vampire-ness of it. Maybe when I eventually finish Supernatural I will be sufficiently schooled in the, er, supernatural in order to enjoy it.

Can I come and have a slightly gut punching rant? My stepmum has shared one of those twee pictures on facebook which makes me want to gouge my eyes out (I have hidden it.) It says:

I mean, for one, BOOOAK. For the second, what utter piffle and rot she is telling her daughter (Yep, all men in the world are out to hurt you, that's what they do) Seriously. And then lastly I just want to comment and say what the fuck, are you blind, do you wonder why I never visit you?? Christ I think my dad has hurt me more (through omission) than any other bloke ever, even though some of them were dickheads and actually trying to.

Ha :) I'm not really into the whole mythology thing. But I want to watch it because 90s, because feminism, because everyone seems to love it.

I can put up with Supernatural because of the hot male leads which is very shallow of me, but I am actually getting invested in the storyline because I am interested in the characters. (I'm only on Season 4 though so don't spoil me!)

Fish definitely do not have the right to go uneaten, that would ignore all sorts of food chain realities. I'm I favour of not cramming them into teeny farm pens though, they taste sad.
