Do you think we should listen to those who actually sell sex for a living? Or are the voices of feminists enough to base laws on?

CaptChaos · 15/09/2014 20:34

I know, time out of his busy exploitation schedule to come and show the silly mummies the error of our muddle-headed ways.

Anyway, weather's turned chilly all of a sudden hasn't it? Brrrrrrrr!

Sabrinnnnnnnna · 15/09/2014 20:34

She doesn't want sex with you, punter.

buwegevove · 15/09/2014 20:36

She doesn't want people with zero knowledge or experience of her industry campaigning for a change in laws without wanting to know what she thinks.

Sabrinnnnnnnna · 15/09/2014 20:37

A good indicator of who we should listen to, is someone who has escaped this exploitative industry. There are plenty of those that speak out.

Hey punter - do you enjoy sex with someone who doesn't want it?

buwegevove · 15/09/2014 20:38

"I know, time out of his busy exploitation schedule to come and show the silly mummies the error of our muddle-headed ways."

You are mummies? Well why didn't you say so that totally changes everything! That fact totally makes you experts on the sex industry!

buwegevove · 15/09/2014 20:39

"A good indicator of who we should listen to, is someone who has escaped this exploitative industry."

Why do they need to have left? What about the tens of thousands of men and women who are actively selling sex in the UK?

buwegevove · 15/09/2014 20:40

But maybe you know better?

Sabrinnnnnnnna · 15/09/2014 20:40

A majority of them are desperate, impoverished, drug addicted, or have a history of abuse.

What's your point?

Sabrinnnnnnnna · 15/09/2014 20:42

What do you, personally, pay for a 30 min session of 'pash' punter? £30? £75? £150? £300?

buwegevove · 15/09/2014 20:43

"A majority of them are desperate, impoverished, drug addicted, or have a history of abuse."

What's the source for this claim? Farley? The Guardian's Julie Bindel?
The Daily Record's Anne Brown?

buwegevove · 15/09/2014 20:43

pash???

Sabrinnnnnnnna · 15/09/2014 20:44

the men who pay for sex

Which one are you?

Sabrinnnnnnnna · 15/09/2014 20:45

Pash=passion.

Have you not cottoned onto the fact that Chaos and I are playing with you?

You're here for the laffs aren't you? Or are you here for parenting advice?

CaptChaos · 15/09/2014 20:47

He doesn't have a point which extends further than the end of his cock.

Prostituted women have to exercise such a high degree of cognitive dissonance in order to be able to cope with being used for sex by men who they don't want to have sexy with, that they will swear to the ends of the earth that they love it. It's only when they've come out the other side they can be honest with themselves. Punters don't care about this though, they just want to pay to fuck women who don't want to fuck them and pretend it isn't rape. Not their daughters though, or their sisters, no, other women, ones they can see as disposable and worthless. Then they can come on here, with no clue about anyone's background and tell us we're wrong. The language they use about the women who tell the real story is interesting as well. That and the toilet cleaning analogy.

Sabrinnnnnnnna · 15/09/2014 20:49

Damn right Chaos.

Jog on, punter.

Hakluyt · 15/09/2014 20:49

Haven't read the thread. Has anyone talked about prostitutes working to fund their PhDs yet? Or the ones who do it because thy love sex so much? Or the ones who make so much money they have flats in Mayfair and only wear Dior?

You know, the usual sort of sex workers Mumsnetters have as friends.......

buwegevove · 15/09/2014 20:50

"Not their daughters though, or their sisters"

That would be incest, so I bloody hope not.

"The language they use about the women who tell the real story is interesting as well."

Rich coming from someone who uses "prostituted women" despite most who sell sex prefer "sex worker".

Sabrinnnnnnnna · 15/09/2014 20:52

Oh hayklut. It's such a great career, I think I'll recommend it to my daughter. Don't know why I didn't take it up myself.

buwegevove · 15/09/2014 20:57

"He doesn't have a point which extends further than the end of his cock. "

Small penis insult ticks bingo card

CaptChaos · 15/09/2014 20:57

WHOOSH!

That was the noise of the point going way over the punters head.

Bless him.

And most of the exited women who advocate for prostituted women like to give things their real names, rather than names that punterapists prefer.

buwegevove · 15/09/2014 20:58

Now I just need the "he must be living in mommy's basement" for a full house.

CaptChaos · 15/09/2014 20:58

Did I say you had a small penis? No. I said you couldn't see beyond the end of your cock, sorry you can't tell the difference in those 2 statements.

buwegevove · 15/09/2014 21:00

"And most of the exited women who advocate for prostituted women like to give things their real names, rather than names that punterapists prefer."

When feminists say "most exited women" what they really mean is "Rachel Moran".

buwegevove · 15/09/2014 21:01

"Did I say you had a small penis?"

You implied it, good enough for my bingo card.
