I like your version too, Upto Also bleurghhh to the whole sentimentality of it, "God got on the phone" NO NO - we can't even be grown up enough to cope with normal prayer, no, God has to have a special telephone - yuk, yuk.

Was it accompanied by a horribly sentimental, vomit inducing picture? Shall we have a pub quiz and offer a prize to whoever guesses what it was? My guess is a soft focus shot of a rose garden with a Victorian summer hat left forlornly on the lawn next to a child's teddy bear.
