Newnight report on brothels

Talking about should it be illegal in the UK and the fact that brothels are safer than the streets. They have super brothels in Germany.

I'm not making any accusations but I am suspicious of this Rachel Moran who suddenly made an appearance. And like Patricia Perquin, as of yet no real prostitute is able to say they have ever seen or heard of Rachel Moran.

Gaye Dalton (who is able to prove she was a prostitute) worked on the same street Rachel claims to have worked for years and never saw her once.

Her real name is Valérie Lempereur who works as a (now disgraced) journalist.

This all took place in Amsterdam, but it's certainly interesting how practically everyone including politicians fell for it hook, line and sinker. It's understandable if they want to keep it quiet because of the embarrassment.

And it's not just Gaye who can't remember her. Noone from the time and location Rachel claims to have worked remembers her. And as has been pointed out the Dublin prostitute community is small and they all know and look out for each other.

Do you have any comment to make on the fact noone, not even prostitutes who worked at the same location/vicinity at the same time, is able to remember Rachel Moran?

Surely someone must be able to vouch for her? Especially if the are part of a close-knit community who all know each other??

Even if what you say is correct, pepper, and it may be, who knows? it doesn't make all survivor stories lies. It doesn't make Rachel Moran a liar.

There was a story about about a child soldier who faked his story a while ago. Do you, on the strength of that, believe that no child soldiers exist?

And Rachel is not as yet able to prove she was a real one, and others have pointed out holes in her story.
