Worth £16 billion in Germany. Legal to "make it safer".

Interview with 22 yr old Hannah. 6 men per night, earns 100 to 1000 euros per night,

Talking about should it be illegal in the UK and the fact that brothels are safer than the streets. They have super brothels in Germany.

"because migsy has asked us not to as she is frightened of the man."

But isn't it common for victims to defend those who exploit them even though they really need help?

And if victims are at any risk of harm the cops can give them protection.

migsy86 · 07/03/2014 23:29

Thanks for all your advice and help everyone. I'm not going to post anymore, I've said too much already.

GarthsUncle · 07/03/2014 23:32

Take care migsy Flowers and do use PMs if they've been offered and you think they might help.

terricotta · 07/03/2014 23:33

Good luck migsy Flowers you're worth more than you think!

terricotta · 07/03/2014 23:44

Then clear something up for me.

You want pimping illegal, but when confronted with a case where someone is possibly pimped you don't want to make use of the law?

terricotta · 07/03/2014 23:47

"threatened a woman's safety"

If reporting pimps leads to that then why do such laws exist? Don't police provide protection if someone is at risk?

SabrinaMulhollandJjones · 07/03/2014 23:53

MN have already stated (on a previous F4J thread aeons ago) that they would never release a posters details to police, or whoever, without very good reason -That usually being, for example, the unlikely event of being compelled to by court order. This is an anonymous internet forum.

Migsy - this turn of events is disturbing and your idea of staying with your friend in London is a good one. You've said you can handle this and I believe you. Truly wishing you all the best, you sound like a lovely person. Flowers

ps. You can try namechanging and posting on here in private browsing (we'll know you, I'm sure).

Do you want pimping to be illegal?

Yes or no?

FloraFox · 08/03/2014 00:06

Are you hard of thining? Read the thread and the many others on here and you will see the answer to that question.

terricotta · 08/03/2014 00:07

I'm guessing no since you appear to have no interest in actually enforcing such a law?

No-one has to answer your question. The answer is plain to see for anyone with a couple if functioning brain cells. How stupid does a person have to be to not be able to ascertain the answer to that question from the posts in the thread.

terricotta · 08/03/2014 00:23

THEN WHY DO YOU NOT WANT TO MAKE USE OF IT?

terricotta · 08/03/2014 00:24

What if migsy really is being pimped? What if her pimp then goes on to pimp others?

terricotta · 08/03/2014 00:27

well migsy did deny it just now, but up above she did say her friend takes 40% of her earnings

SabrinaMulhollandJjones · 08/03/2014 00:31

terricotta, are you hard of understanding or something? I've never been more speechless at someone's posts before, fgs leave it alone. This is someone's life.

Hypocrite much? Fight for a law then when you get it decline to actually make use of it?

GarthsUncle · 08/03/2014 00:38

Flora, I really admire Women's Aid. Their primary goal is always "what will keep the victim safest?"

It's interesting how they don't advocate anonymous third parties calling the police because, of course, unless there is sufficient evidence right there on the spot for the police to take someone immediately into custody, that could be putting the woman and her children at risk of physical or other retribution. And such anonymous callers would have no idea when the victim was in or out, how volatile the abuser was etc.

I believe they've taken this stance because they are experienced professionals and know what minimises risk of harm.

...Though maybe it's ACTUALLY because they think domestic violence should be decriminalised. Oh no, that would be a fucking ridiculous conclusion to draw.

CaptChaos · 08/03/2014 00:39

Migsy, please, if you are reading this, ignore the idiot, he is here, as were other punters before him to scare you and women like you into being available for him to exploit. I know you are strong enough to get through this, if I can help in any way (I am just south of London) then please PM me.

terricotta, I have seen some vile, inappropriate tripe posted on these boards by people like you, but you have sunk to an all time low. Congratulations, I didn't think we could get worse than the usual misogynistic rape apologists that come on FWR to get their after pub jollies, but you've managed it.
