......that talks about misogyny gets derailed in exactly the same way. Coincidence?

OP posts:

What a brilliantly hilarious thread! :o:o:o

LineRunner, Sian Massey is a fantastic referee. I went to a match (in the Vauxhall Conference, not sure she's allowed to ref proper football) and she got every decision right. She is better than most of the male referees in that she applies the laws of the game as opposed to her interpretation of them.

AnnieLobeseder · 24/01/2013 21:52

Will nobody think of the menz?

LesBOFerables · 24/01/2013 21:56

Nicholas, I suppose that's because men understand that refereeing is an art, through which they express their superior creativity. In much the same way that men are chefs, whereas women are only ever cooks.

SabrinaMulhollandJjones · 24/01/2013 21:59

Women are obviously better at making pretty cupcakes. And heart-shaped birthday cakes for their dh's. And jam tarts with the dc etc.

But serious cuisine has to be left to the men, obviously.

Refereeing isn't an art. Hang on, am I overthinking this? Actually, I don't care, I think Sian Massey is ace.

But overthinking is one of the things we women do so well. Along with cupcakes and dirndl skirts, natch. You see, it's not that we're inferior at all, equal but different, that's all. So long as we stay in the domestic sphere, we too can excel.

I think Sian Massey is ace too.

Greythorne · 24/01/2013 22:19

Very hard to derail this thread!

LRDtheFeministDragon · 24/01/2013 22:20

I'd just like to say how brave I think beer is to post here. Smile

Does your DW know you are talking about our 'tushes' though, beer? Wink
Wink

I think you should stick around and get to know us better! Grin Grin Grin

Btw, did everyone notice beer made his points so much better than the OP made hers?

Grumpla · 24/01/2013 22:22

But what is Mumsnet all about?

Is it about mincing up and down in high heels walking my tiny pet penis on a lead? I RILLY HOPE SO!!!

LurcioLovesFrankie · 24/01/2013 22:24

"Btw, did everyone notice beer made his points so much better than the OP made hers? "

LRD - You're not one of those feministy type of women (you know the sort, facial hair and badly fitting trousers, and Shock no makeup) who always claims when a man makes an absolutely brilliant points - as BeerManTricks just did - that actually some woman had already said it and been ignored?

AnyFucker · 24/01/2013 22:24

guffaw @ BTP

you so funneeeeeeeeee, especially since you have a penis and possibly facial hair

it makes you wondrous in your masculinity and not at all weird posting on a female dominated site populated by adoring handmaidens

LRDtheFeministDragon · 24/01/2013 22:26

Shock lurcio!

You are twisting my point to reverse it. I think you are just jealous.

AF, do you fancy a little clique thread named after beer where we can get him to share some more banter with us? We could be the 'beer-ettes'!

rosabud · 24/01/2013 22:28

I feel it's very hard to derail this thread because of all the irony and silliness which is being disguised as politeness but is, of course, all directed at men and how we much hate them. So we may be putting all the men off from coming on here and derailing the threads so, actually, we are clearly bullying them into silence and we are not allowing them to have their own opinion. Or allowing them to wear any of the Laura Ashley frocks. Or be sexually assaulted. No, wait........ well, anyway it just shows how domineering and controlling we are and how we won't let anyone choose anything that we don't like.....like sex. Laura Ashley sell lingerie too, you know. Somewhere. At the back past all the nighties, I expect, but nevertheless, it is there, and you can derail it if you want to. No, wait........

AnyFucker · 24/01/2013 22:30

LRD...don't mind if I do. As long as his missus don't rock up !! Shock

LurcioLovesFrankie · 24/01/2013 22:32

I once loaned a Laura Ashley dress to a male housemate. He looked better than me in it, the biatch!

LRDtheFeministDragon · 24/01/2013 22:33

His missus will be tucked up home in bed, surely? As all proper wives are at this time of night.

beer, I'm not a proper wife. Wink. I'm a bit naughty! Grin

LRDtheFeministDragon · 24/01/2013 22:33
Grumpla · 24/01/2013 22:36

Do Laura Ashley sell penis wands?

I'm confused.
