LineRunner, Sian Massey is a fantastic referee. I went to a match (in the Vauxhall Conference, not sure she's allowed to ref proper football) and she got every decision right. She is better than most of the male referees in that she applies the laws of the game as opposed to her interpretation of them.

Nicholas, I suppose that's because men understand that refereeing is an art, through which they express their superior creativity. In much the same way that men are chefs, whereas women are only ever cooks.

Women are obviously better at making pretty cupcakes. And heart-shaped birthday cakes for their dh's. And jam tarts with the dc etc.

But serious cuisine has to be left to the men, obviously.

I feel it's very hard to derail this thread because of all the irony and silliness which is being disguised as politeness but is, of course, all directed at men and how we much hate them.
