I may have a nasty suspicious mind, but it seems to me that every thread....

......that talks about misogyny gets derailed in exactly the same way. Coincidence?

And anyway, shouldn't feminism be about women's choice so if they choose to be oppressed then you are being horrible not to let them and if they have chosen it and they are happy then it is all OK. What on earth are you all getting your knickers in such a twist about? And what do you mean, twisty knickers is an offensive mysogynist term - it's only a turn of phrase, for goodness sake, how rather over the top you all are!

rosabud · 24/01/2013 16:44

Or. I might even add, how terribly hysterical you all are!

Yes it is quite good fun.

LRDtheFeministDragon · 24/01/2013 16:46

Or how about this old favourite?

I agree with feminism, I'm a feminist myself. I just think these days it's gone too far.

SaskiaRembrandtVampireHunter · 24/01/2013 16:50

Well it is has gone too far! Do you know men only earn 30% more than women - how can that be fair? And look at all those men on the boards of the top companies, they take all that responsibility so we women can focus on more important feminine things like: kittens and rainbows and Laura Ashley frocks.

KayHarker · 24/01/2013 16:56

I do like a Laura Ashley frock.

rosabud · 24/01/2013 16:58

But I wear Laura Ashley frocks!! Are you saying that I can't be a feminist now?? That's outrageous! It's my choice to wear Laura Ashely frocks. Do you know that in countries with the lowest rate of sexual assualt, like Greenland where there are no actual people, they have the highest amount of Laura Ashley frock wearers per capita? What does that tell you?? And, even if there were men in Greenland too, which there aren't really because there are hardly any people, but if there WERE - they could wear Laura Ashley frocks too, you know, and all theh women who sexually assault them (because lots of women DO sexually assault men, you know, even in Greenland where there aren't actually any people) would be allowed to to be safe too. And be called feminists if they wanted. it's their choice too.

I'm really enjoying this now.

TheCrackFox · 24/01/2013 17:04

The problem is you are all just humourless. Can't you take a joke?

BIWI · 24/01/2013 17:07
Grin

I'm sensing that this is quite cathartic ...

LRDtheFeministDragon · 24/01/2013 17:07

The problem with all these feminists is they go round oppressing other entities. Like flowers.

I've just been sexist towards pansies on another thread. Sad

That's just how deeply ingrained my oppressing tendencies are.

OneMoreChap · 24/01/2013 17:09

w-e-e-l-l, she shaves, doesn't she/is married/wears makeup/is straight.

She can't be a twoo feminist.

SabrinaMulhollandJjones · 24/01/2013 17:10

The number of Laura Ashley dresses owned in any given population is directly proportionate to the number of lap dancing clubs. FACT.

In Iceland there aren't any lap dancing clubs allowed - and women are so desperate to get their tits oot for the lads, they do it on the street for free. Even though they get arrested. True Fact.

LRDtheFeministDragon · 24/01/2013 17:12

It's actually called Iceland because the women are so frigid, you know. That's what happens when you let feminists run the country. They're responsible for global warming, too. It's all that repressed lust, like what Her in 50 Shades writes about.

SabrinaMulhollandJjones · 24/01/2013 17:12

And won't someone think of the poor pimps and madams? They're only trying to earn a dishonest an honest crust is all. And it's the women's choice to do it.

youlooklikeaclown · 24/01/2013 17:13

You mentioned pansies LRD - was this to shift the focus of the thread from misogyny to flowers? Tra-la-la check out my drindl!!

seeker · 24/01/2013 17:16

I like wearing dirndls.

OP posts:
LRDtheFeministDragon · 24/01/2013 17:16

Well, I think it's much nicer when ladies talk about flowers. It's a scientific FACT that our brains are hardwired that way.

youlooklikeaclown · 24/01/2013 17:17

LRD I re-read your post, blame it on my drindl, it distracted me by being too flowery!

seeker · 24/01/2013 17:18

I just think all you frothers are boring. And I have a PhD in women's history. Or herstory, as I suppose you want me to call it.

OP posts:
LRDtheFeministDragon · 24/01/2013 17:20

I bet you didn't enjoy getting it though, did you, seeker? You were disgusted by it every moment you studied, and you learned that your professors were equally aware that it's all a load of bull.

I myself have no need to study such things, or really read anything about women, because it is well known that they've never contributed anything much to the world. If you spent less time focussing on women, you could make a real contribution to something important, you know.

youlooklikeaclown · 24/01/2013 17:22

But... sob... I had a recipe to share and wanted to show off my new curtains...

drwitch · 24/01/2013 17:23

of course science has proved that women like laura ashley because it reminds us of being taken in grassy meadows in cheap porno film ancient days

SaskiaRembrandtVampireHunter · 24/01/2013 17:24

It is true that women have never contributed anything. I know what you're all going to say: what about all those women who did? Well, I hate to break it to you, but those women were actually fictional characters invented by Dickens to stop the women whining. True fact!

LRDtheFeministDragon · 24/01/2013 17:25

Grin I love that image drwitch.

SaskiaRembrandtVampireHunter · 24/01/2013 17:25

"of course science has proved that women like laura ashley because it reminds us of being taken in grassy meadows in cheap porno film ancient days "

Cadbury's Flakes serve a similar purpose.

AnyFucker · 24/01/2013 17:27

We have the vote and my husband is nice to me

What more do you whiners want ?
