I don't usually wander onto the MN facebook page but I was pretty horrified to find what looks very much like an MRA agenda posted on there.
I'm trying very hard to see what relevance the photo used for their site has regarding the voices of unheard children. Hmm Looks more like how they would like to see their women to me.

F4J REPORT MUMSNET TO POLICE FOR INCITING GENDER HATRED

It's not surprising that they struggle to cope with the legal system.

TheCrackFox · 08/03/2012 16:46

I wonder if Nadine has heard of the offence of "wasting police time"?

Is that a Police helicopter hovering at my bedroom window?

No, it just an angry magpie.

In what universe does that poster connect "voiceless children" with the image it uses? She doesn't look like a child for one thing and the image itself is very abusive, dare I say rapey - some online fora contain men who talk of silencing women with black tape and of using rape vans but it's OK because they are "only joking".

Is that really the sort of thing people who talk of protecting children and letting them be heard want to be associated with?

surely not hating your ex at all would be the aim? Confused

Nyac · 08/03/2012 16:51

Funny how it was Mumsnet lecturing us about free speech before. I don't think the Feminist section has ever threatened to call the police on anybody here because we don't like what they are saying.

FrothyDragon · 08/03/2012 16:52

OK, if anyone thiinks anything I say is offkey, please inbox me. I'm trying to avoid the Gingerbread post turning into world war 3.

TunipTheVegemal · 08/03/2012 16:52

Surely if anyone was going to sue for libel here it would be Gingerbread for the posters which show photos of gagged children with the caption 'Child abuse by Gingerbread'?

I've seen many men call their ex partner and mother of their children "snakes with tits" on many different forums, I've seen it today on Moneysaving expert of all places.

It must be a miserable life to have so much hate.

OP posts:
swallowedAfly · 08/03/2012 16:55

seriously though they're calling us 'manhaters' when they have a jingle like 'never hate your ex more than your child'?!? Hmm

no one here hates men. not much tolerance for misogynistic idiots who spread false propaganda and use children inappropriately in the process.

Nyac · 08/03/2012 16:58

If there is such a crime as incitement to "gender" hatred then I'm phoning the police to report the porn industry.

swallowedAfly · 08/03/2012 16:58

i know mal.

the fact that they think it is wise to act as angry, aggressive, liars to promote fatherhood is.... no words.

Julie Bindel was calling for one in the autumn in a Guardian article about the murder of Joanna Yeates.

Do you think they made it a law in between without us noticing?

FrothyDragon · 08/03/2012 17:01

"have spoken to the Police and have collated for them over 130 pages of comments. For the record its not considered "wasting police" time when reporting activity like this as many of the comments make direct slanderous and libellous comments about individuals within F4J who can be identified and each of those individuals are also making complaints. Nadine"

Hmm

Poor old Nadine, how disappointed is she going to be when the police kindly explain that defamation is a civil matter?

NarkedPuffin · 08/03/2012 17:03

This might help.

swallowedAfly · 08/03/2012 17:04

no it's not wasting police time at all, it's not like police dedicated to dealing with internet crime are not overstretched desperately trying to stop child pornography or anything like that - of course they should lay down tools for a bunch of entitled men who don't like being criticised on mumsnet Hmm

do they have any conscience whatsoever do you think?

no presumably they've used the advanced search with the term f4j and printed out the results. fuckwits.

130 pages, wow that's nearly how many men the family courts have denied contact to Hmm

NarkedPuffin · 08/03/2012 17:07

Maybe some of the pages have drawings on.

FrothyDragon · 08/03/2012 17:17
