Agenda, much?

I don't usually wander onto the MN facebook page but I was pretty horrified to find what looks very much like an MRA agenda posted on there.
I'm trying very hard to see what relevance the photo used for their site has regarding the voices of unheard children. Hmm Looks more like how they would like to see their women to me.

Does the group attack policy apply across MN? Am I allowed to apply a group attack to those who formula feed, breast feed, lone parents, parents who are together, those in mental health?

Or do the feelings of the feminists matter a little less than the rest of MN, the ones from F4J included?

FFFFiiiiiggghhht!

But only with sugar coated cupcakes. Please.

Nyac · 06/03/2012 21:20

"but outright abuse directed at fellow MNers (of any persuasion) will be deleted"

That's not always true is it?

Dworkin · 06/03/2012 21:20

Forgot to add laydies

NubblesStryverFlintwinch · 06/03/2012 21:21

Also, fact is, he was cleared of the allegations which earlier prevented him from seeing his son. How come you're not getting all frothy mouthed about that one? Perjury and perverting the course of justice is a crime after-all - the later carrying a heavy sentence

Being found not guilty does not mean that the allegations were false, just that they could not be proved. It does not mean that the victim accuser was lying.

Dworkin · 06/03/2012 21:22

It's not always true Nyac.

SinicalSanta · 06/03/2012 21:23

It's the grand conspiracy - MNHQ are in on it too

SmellsLikeTeenStrop · 06/03/2012 21:25

will outright abuse directed at non MNers be deleted?

Dworkin · 06/03/2012 21:27

Says:

"The moon is extra bright tonight." Stubbs out ciggie.

Departs centre right of stage.

Well I think that the feminists are treated the same as the trolls, as if we were just as bad as them, or actually sometimes worse than the trolls.

That seems a pretty odd approach.

We know we've got an invasion from F4J on here at the moment. We're not off invading other people's websites, but objecting to people doing it to us or being pissed off about it, seems to bring Mumsnet in to get us in line.

And yeah, I know we're not supposed to troll hunt, but that relies on trolls actually being deleted, and in the feminist section they generally aren't or at least not until after a reeeeaalllly long drawn out process.

Ooh are we onto "unless there is a conviction in court then the victim must be lying" now? But only when it comes to DV / rape and the victim is a woman?

Gosh that took much longer than usual

FrothyDragon · 06/03/2012 21:33

Edd

You only have to look at the posts to see the invasion. Or the F4J page. Hell, I've done half the legwork for you. Even more shockingly, I could even tell you who Spydii is... I believe someone else has... They're here with an agenda. But hey, again...

I still remember being challenged over daring to attack Edd. I believe that was in response to his rape joke. His account was active, and still posting some pretty dangerous comments for some time after we started kicking up a fuss.

how long are the members of the FWR section going to be treated like the underclass by most of MNHQ?

SmellsLikeTeenStrop · 06/03/2012 21:34

No, apparently we've gone past that SardineQueen and we're on to ''even if there is a conviction in court, if the victim is a woman and the crime is DV/rape then she is lying''.

FrothyDragon · 06/03/2012 21:35

In fact, after reading this, I feel a little betrayed, MNHQ.... Unless Nadine is lying, MNHQ have practically invited Spydii et al... "Mumsnet - they have just contacted me about the posts on their forum. If you feel that a post is derogatory or anti men or makes unfounded allegations about F4J please use the "report" button on their message board system. They are also going to have a look through the posts. Thanks Nadine"

Taken from the F4J facebook page...

FrothyDragon · 06/03/2012 21:37

Also, can spydii be deleted for calling us "ranting loons"? I take offence to that...

For her excellent detective work. Let's remember this: women are to be believed. Always.

NubblesStryverFlintwinch · 06/03/2012 21:45

Just to clarify my last post was quoting the strangely spelled arachnid and disagreeing with him - the bold was his stuff, and for some reason my browser removed the quotes Hmm

Dworkin · 06/03/2012 21:47

In the spirit of Greenham Common, I'm not budging. I'm staying here and never leaving.

From my cold, dead hands MNHQ

LineRunner · 06/03/2012 21:49

MNHQ Whatever happened to 'We believe you. We vote.'?

FrothyDragon · 06/03/2012 21:50

Don't worry, Nubbles, I understood what you meant. I've had problems having bold and quotes on MN.

Dworkin, I believe in keeping your friends close, and enemies closer... Wink

BasilRathbone · 06/03/2012 21:51

Sometimes the invasions are so blatant and yet we've all got to pretend to have as much cognitive dissonance about them as MNHQ.
