Was Bristol Palin raped?

darleneoconnor · 20/06/2011 11:16

according to this bristol palin was so drunk when she conceived her son that she doesn't remember having sex.

Sounds like rape to me.

Then she was basically 'forced' to marry her rapist? WTF! Sometimes America sounds more like the middle east!

Quite a few forums are discussing this, with some

disgusting rape myths on this forum

thanks karma.

We'll prob. have to recognise there is some space between us on the last bit you say, esp. as the case is deeply political.

I think it's more than bare misogeny, dittany so we disagree.

Jeez Dittany...you make me want to say things i should not.

Why do you think Levi is a liar?

AwesomePan · 25/06/2011 23:48

I don't know, dittany. But I do know that the challenge of 'believe all of this or be a misogynyst' isn't one I want to pick up. I'll pass on that one.

'sort you're self out'......this is a personal attack now?

It is nasty?..
No?

reelingintheyears · 25/06/2011 23:57

And there was me thinking i was just an ordinary old feminist...

How wrong was i?

Better beat up my boys before breakfast.

AwesomePan · 25/06/2011 23:58

yes, we know this. but I am not seeing anyone calling her a liar here. and as someone had said, she isn't stating she was raped ( outside of the statutory rape assessment). We can all speculate on her circumstances, feelings before and after, and the possible implications but the accusation isn't made clear at all. So yes I do refuse to rise to the 'misogynyst's challenge' of blieve or be damned.

reelingintheyears · 26/06/2011 00:01

Pan.....moi...i have not called anyone a liar..

AwesomePan · 26/06/2011 00:02

I know, didn't say you had, sorry.

in the UK probably not, I think, as there would be no public interest for the CPS.

reelingintheyears · 26/06/2011 00:15

Fuck......this shit really depreseses (sic) me.
I don't want to piss anyone off but not all boys tell lies and not all girls tell the truth.

And not all girls tell lies and not all boys tell the truth....

Did i get that right?

i think one informs the other MJ. AND, if there is difficulty in establishing a lack of consent and the 'young people' involved are in a 'relationship' then it is poss viewed as more damaging in the long term to both. ( excessive use of ' for no good reason)

reelingintheyears · 26/06/2011 00:28

Pardon? MJISMARRYJOTTER...

Can't be arsed to link your stuff but.....

I LOVE YOU.
