Just setting up a chat to firm up plans for a Southern meet up and a Northern meet up.

Lets see who is interested, then firm up locations and dates.

I know there are a few of us who want to come but might not be able to make it, so no judgement at all for those who decide nearer the time that they can’t make it. Hope to meet some of you this year!

I’ve got my email too, many thanks for the impecable organising. I’ve chosen my book for the swap but my attendance is now hang over dependent as I have a ‘Do’ on the 18th. I have worked out I can get a train that will allow more of a lie in but get me to the meeting point for about 11:15am so I’ll aim for that.

I've had the email - thank you - but sadly can't make it due to another commitments here in the north that day. I'm sorry to be missing out as the plans sound great. If by a stroke of luck my other event is moved (work-related social that I can't easily duck out of) then I'll hop on a train!

Any criteria for the book swap?

No criteria, Cherrypi. I pick one that I enjoyed reading and hope for the best that the recipient might like it too. It's tricky! I must choose mine yet.

@SheilaFentiman @MegBusset apologies for my absolutely shocking organisation here. Can you drop me another PM with emails. For whatever reason not coming up in my inbox and I can’t get at the Google form with my new work laptop (very bloody annoying).

Have sent the PM but I have a feeling MN sometimes blocks email addresses in PM so let me know if you don’t get it!

I wasn't supposed to be in England until August, but owing to a family health crisis, I am actually here already, and very excited that I may be able to join you.

I plan to be there, unless the situation devolves - looking forward to meeting some of you on Saturday!
