I've been reading the Thirteenth Tale, it's totally unlike anything I've ever read before.

I've sent mine today. Apologies dinny for the lateness. I've dug out my own copy of this and still have a bit to finish, then onto this months!

I wonder CocodeBear whether you mean good, unlike anything you've ever read, or strange, unlike anything you've ever read, or crap, unlike anything you've ever read! Reading is such a personal thing and I've recommended stuff before which has fallen flat on it's a**e with someone (usually my sister, who now refuses to borrow anything from me as she thinks it's likely to be pants!).

I'm currently reading (as well as my bookclub book) Cornelia Funke DragonRider. V. good children's book. DD not interested in the slightest, so it's my guilty pleasure book. And it comes with a built in book mark (hard cardboard inner flap...what a fabulous idea!).

Hi all, I've finished the 13th tale now.

I enjoyed it overall, but it's not my normal type of book.

It was quite fairy tale-ish, and reminded me in parts of Alice in Wonderland, but much darker...

The last book I had was the one that I think Rosmerta must have just posted to Coco. So don't have one to post on at the moment - at least, one that was in the original circle. I was expecting some through from Lunavix but they haven't emerged

Missingtheaction was posting to mehdismummy and I think she will be holding off from posting for the moment. I post to missing and I'm afraid last time she got two books in one hit because I got behind and she had moved and I was waiting for her new address etc., etc. So she had some catching up to do .
