AlbusPercivalWulfricBrianSun Dobby has me in tears each time, something about his big shiny eyes but I have to admit when Harry asks his mum to stay close I choke and wail I even well up when I read about it or anyone mentions it in conversations. ( just doesnt cover it!)

Ruby in the Smoke was on the tv a while back with, I think, Billie Piper in the 'lead' role. I taped it, never got wound to watching it and dh taped over it - probably with a rugby game! Just started a Martina Cole book that I've been meaning to read for ages ... I'll see how it goes.

Yes I watched it and thought it was good - Billie Piper is a good Sally, but the books are also great. But please read Garth Nix - they are truly fantastic.

tigerschick I would buy another one!! My friend now has three as she has been away staying with people and keeps forgetting to take the book with her. You could always put them on ebay afterwards.

i thought it woffled on in the middle, all that camping out in the middle of nowhere, but it came together in the end.
The bit about him being supposed to die in the end was ruined for me by a dj on our local radio station a couple of days after the book came out, saying, its ok he doesn't die. Idiot.
I was very happy to find as I had always suspected that Snape was on the goodies side as I've had a crush on Alan Rickman since Truly Madly Deeply!
