obsessed with Harry P?

Is anyone else getting really excited (borderline obsessed)about he new HP book?
I have re-read all the other 6 and everytime I scan down active convos and see "Potty" I heart skips a beat or I hold my breath whilst my eyes focus!!

Please tell me it isn't only me and my DC that are counting the days (hours, minutes, seconds...)

I think definitely the phoenix is important. She doesn't seem to introduce anything unless it has some bearing later. Excuse the ponceyness but it's quite Dickensian.
DD they are fab but much darker than HP. Definitely read them - Sabriel, Lirael and Abhorsen.

Mrs W , I'm sorry to tell you this, but I think that it is your sone Ron who dies in book 7

Reason being , old JK loves to set things up in advance. And in book 1 he tells everyone that sometimes you have to make sacrifices (in chess) to wind the final game.

So sorry, I think that Ron is gone!

DrDaddy: Yes i would be very pleased, although as he is like a son to me it would feel stange but I could get used to it. I would be constantly worried and my clock would be permanently pointing to "Mortal danger"

MB: how could you be so cruel. Poor Ron, I had high hopes for him.

Agree with the others. Ron is for it. Either him or Ginny. Also Snape dies protecting Harry.

Ginny marries Harry.

Hermy goes to teach onm Hogwards to heal her broken heart. EIther that or Krum slips her his pork sword and that takes her mind off Ron.

Here is a thought. Hagrid is half giant. How did his dad 'do' his giant mum???? On a ladder?????

Dumbledore definitely told Snape to kill him....I'm not sure he's really dead.

Harry will end up with Krum. Ginny's just a "beard". Sorry Mrs W. More bad news...

Oh MrsWeasley, it is obvious. Snape has to be seen to kill Dumbledore (wither for real or faking it) so that Voldemort will be lured out into the open. While D lives, V is always going to be wary because D is the only wizard V has ever feared.

Do you think Harry is a Horcrux? (sp?)

I have mixed feelings about the ending of this series, how will it feel to have no more Harry Potter? I don't know if I will cope.

I'm due to be giving birth on the 20th. However, I thoroughly plan to be in line at Waterstones at midnight that day with my pre-order slip clutched in (probably swollen) hand. If I have to tie one of the house scarves I have knitted about my knees to ensure I get the book then so be it!

I also plan to to be at the cinema.
