I re-joined WW nearly a year ago. I have stayed on plan every week, eating all my daily and weekly points. I weigh, measure and track everything. For last few months I have also been eating quite a few of my fitpoints each week as well. I started walking last year, after buying an activity tracker. Struggled to reach 5k steps to start with, but gradually did it and slowly increased it. I walk every day. Now I usually walk 12k steps as a minimum. Have been trying an exercise video at home recently and started a couch to 5k app. been repeating the first week until I can complete it. I am by no means fit, but am so much fitter and healthier than I was a year ago. Currently I am earning between 130-140 fitpoints a week I have treats each week, although as my daily points have reduced considerably over time, the treats need to be less frequent now! I am now eating mostly foods from the no count list, so cooking much more from scratch and eating more healthy foods, but I am mostly still pointing, to keep my portions in check!
I would shop around for frozen meals. There are lots of other options that work out at reasonable points, not just WW meals. All the supermarkets should have some. Could you bulk cook and freeze some portions? I discovered slow cookers last year and soup makers. Love both of them and wonder how I managed without them for so many years!
At the end of the day, if you stick with your points, then you should lose weight.
I have had lots of weeks where I have stayed the same or gained, despite staying on plan each week. Those weeks are really frustrating, but I have stuck with it. It does eventually sort itself out!
BG2015 - yes I have minimal clothes options at the moment! Buying the bare minimum and trying to buy when on offer or in the sales. Also buying next size or two ahead of time, if discounted, so I have something to get into. I have also got rid of all my big clothes. I have never done that before. This time I am not going back so will never need them again. Previously I always kept them 'just in case' and it was like I was setting myself up to fail. I will be going clothes shopping when I get to where I want to be! Think my mum will help me out with the cost of new clothes when I need them as well. Hubby suggested I just wear a belt and wear them baggy, but getting into the next size down is a boost and it definitely helps keep me motivated.
