I'm already a member of ww online I have the app and just getting used to the new smart points system! Like a refresh think it will be good to do something new again!

Bought a fit bit with xmas money and had it two days love it already! It updates activity points onto the ww app though I won't be eating these.

Hopefully if anyone joins me we can motivate each other

Paws 3/4 lb is better than nothing. Be positive for this week - You never can tell how things can go.

Ouch Miffy It sucks when you can't be as active as you hope. Maybe use the sitting down time to meal plan ? or knit? anything to keep away from the biscuits :)

Me - weighed in this morning. I am 2 lbs down. So 9lbs since March 7th. Am quite pleased. Do need to set a goal weight though - I don't think I want/need/am able to shed more than another 7 lbs.

If only I didn't have a holiday in two weeks. In the land of cheese and wine too! It's going to be tough there sticking to plan!

This evening (early) I went out for a meal with db and dsis-in-law. It's been an absolutely glorious day here so I decided to wear a skirt which is quite unusual for me as I live in trousers. I tried on my very favourite skirt and looked dreadful. I could fasten it, but my tummy looked enormous and I felt fat and frumpy. I tried on a different skirt and that one looked as bad. I ended up wearing my usual black trousers with a light blouse and black cardigan! I can't say that I looked or felt great.

Now my question to you lovely people is would this have sent you delving into the biscuit tin or would you be all the more determined to lose another stone? I have to admit I'm back home now and just want to eat chocolate.

I wouldn't mind so much but I'm not that much overweight (my BMI is 25.6) but I just looked horrendous. Then to add insult to injury my brother told me I was looking very old! I think I'm glad to be home.

I do need this evening off slimming, I need chocolate but I think Ill get back to it tomorrow. I can't say it was a very positive evening . (I don't know why I even tried the skirts on but perhaps because I thought I would look good - noooo definitely not).

Thanks for the welcome Smile. I have started today but my first meeting will be in Thursday. I am using the app in the meantime. I was impressed with how healthy my shopping trolley looked in the supermarket today - lots of fruit and veg Smile. However, I have eaten all of my points today and am still hungry Sad. Will go and have some fruit but missing buttery, marmitie toast very much!

KenDoddsDadsDog · 12/04/2016 06:42

Had a beautiful afternoon tea for my sister's birthday on Sunday and ate ALL my weeklies in one day Cake
Reckon I will get a stay the same on Thursday

SparklyBoots1977 · 12/04/2016 07:31

Still on board, lost a pound this week which wasn't bad after my unexpected big breakfast. Slow and steady wins the race. Having a f&h day today which will include shredded wheat with natural yogurt and banana for breakfast, baked beans on Warburton thin's for lunch and jacket potato with tuna and salad for tea. Have a good day everyone.

Miffytastic · 12/04/2016 09:33

Sorry forgot to say welcome Marmite (big marmite lovers in our house, I am a member of the nonsense marketing guff club marmarati ;-)

Paws oh I know that feeling, hang in there, I think it would make me both determined and in need of comfort. Have a bit of chocolate and then get back on the wagon today with renewed vigour, and don't listen to your brother Angry

Drinksforeveryone · 12/04/2016 10:13

I am doing a No Count day today just for a change.

So far, so good ;)

Bacon medallions, poached eggs and a warburtons thin

Might stop me from hunting in the kitchen for nibbles - as i just know I can't have any. There are some strawberries in the fridge for later though - so that will be my afternoon snack.

Hello everyone, have joined WW online yesterday (been years since I did it), I have a lot of weight to lose. One thing I have noticed compared to a few years ago is the WW message boards seem really quiet compared to what I remember - they were always really busy, what has happened?!

Miffytastic · 12/04/2016 15:08

Laguna They've really not pushed them and then when you have the app there's this slightly odd 'connect' area where people just seem to be sharing their before and after photos, and pics of their tea. Not quite the same thing IMO which is why I like this chat here, but we haven't got the same wealth of users to draw on for info which I used to like about WW boards.

Drinks do you find you lose on NC?

poorpaws · 12/04/2016 20:19

Miffy thank you. Oh I did feel sorry for myself last night! Back to working hard on weight loss today. (I actually tried the same skirt on today with a longer length top, a matching lightweight jacket and a pretty scarf which hung down my front to covered my tummy and it looked OK 😀 ).

Ken I'm so jealous of you're afternoon tea, these are my favourite meals out. I've got one booked for two weeks time and can't wait. I want to know what you ate but I know I'll be sorry that I did. Ours have Devon cream teas and cake to die for and sandwiches and cinnamon toast and ... I'm drooling.

poorpaws · 12/04/2016 20:23

Sparkly a pound off is good so well done.

Laguna stick with us, we are all here to support you.

Hope weigh-ins go well this week.

oncetwicetwotimesamummy · 13/04/2016 19:55

Mmmm afternoon tea sounds good.
I've had a great week on the exercise front but my downfall food wise is evening snacking.
Once my children are in bed I just want to snack!!

KenDoddsDadsDog · 14/04/2016 19:03

1lbs off. Yeah !! We're starting a 10lbs off in 8 weeks in my class which will get me to goal Grin

Drinksforeveryone · 14/04/2016 20:53

Urgh.... Two meals out this weekend.

Saturday's dinner I think I can manage - a simple fish with vegetables or something.

But Friday is Pizza Express. I have been looking at all the nutritional info - and have narrowed it down to a few options.

It's all so high in points!

oncetwicetwotimesamummy · 15/04/2016 08:20

Well done Ken. 1lb for me this week which is better than sts!

LagunaBubbles · 15/04/2016 11:09

Thank you poorpaws, Im going to be around I can see! I know its only 2 days but 2 days sticking to points has got me motivated again.

Thats a shame isnt it miffy about the WW boards, I used to love them.

Miffytastic · 15/04/2016 15:50

Yes I used to find them a great resource years ago. I've been doing WW since the days of dial-up internet!

Lost 1/2 pound here, (now 10.4) but feel like I'm staying the same really. I've not tried v hard this week I have to say. Back to it with gusto as want to get to goal and not drift upwards.

bettybyebye · 15/04/2016 21:51

Well done Ken, miffy and once Smile

0.5lb off for me this week which I'm happy with as was away for a few days and hit the breakfast buffet hard! Blush back to it this week although struggling with the temptation of all the Easter eggs that are still in our house (our dc are very young and got loads!)

KenDoddsDadsDog · 15/04/2016 22:15

I love a breakfast buffet mmmmm

Clankboing · 16/04/2016 09:47

Any ideas for a nice ww friendly tea? I have more time to cook on a Saturday ...

KenDoddsDadsDog · 16/04/2016 13:41

Sainsburys have a salmon and quinoa dish on their website I fancy giving a go.
I know it's not cooking but the weight watchers in meeting rogan josh is nice - been making it with chicken and having a mini be good to yourself naan and rice - 12 points or 14 with yoghurt / soured cream

uppitywho · 16/04/2016 21:21

I joined this at the beginning and then dropped out in Feb . I rejoined last weekend so thought I'd come back in!

uppitywho · 16/04/2016 21:27

oh and I am back up to 13st 2lb (having started in this thread at 13st 4lb!!) . Started running again this morning - I did c25k 2 or 3 times in that last 3 years and its a positive thing that even though its been months since I did my last shuffle jog round the park I managed 20 minutes without stopping today so there must be some hope.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 16/04/2016 21:34

Hiya uppity !! I've had a shit food day today , bread , cake the works

poorpaws · 16/04/2016 22:51

Hi uppity nice to see you back 😀

I've had a day like yours Ken. I've eaten bar after bar of chocolate, a twirl Easter egg and Twirl bars inside it, crisps, biscuits etc etc 😡 It's weighin tomorrow, I stand no chance!
