So who else is back to the WW routine in January?

I lost weight slowly and steadily on the 'filling and healthy' ww plan last year. Lost 16lbs over 16 weeks and I am back within my gold buffer zone but not quite where I'd like to be yet. Have had a couple of weeks off over christmas but planning to weigh in on Monday at my meeting...which I expecte will be rammed!
I also need to increase the exercise as that waned a bit in December.

Hope to have some company on this board for the new year. What are your aims?

As this is my first month I haven't a clue what is achievable but I'm starting at 16st 6lb so would hope to not have say the 16stone bit after the end of January...

NoLongerJustAShopGirl · 10/01/2015 16:30

sorry - that was my goal for this month..

Rainicorn · 10/01/2015 16:33

Having looked at my first goal, it's more 5% than 10, so going with that.

My other goal is to fit into a pair of jeans I bought that are meant to be my current dress size but cans do them up. Hopefully by the end of the month...

Rainicorn · 10/01/2015 16:34

When are you getting married Ethel?

ethelb · 10/01/2015 16:41

Mid-April. I want to loose the weight by the end of Feb (with lots of cardio and strength training) and then just focus on toning up in the run up to the wedding. I got a glimpse of my shoulders and cleavage in the mirror at Moss Bros yesterday and they are crap. I used to have a good decolatage Sad

Hello Havarina! Hope the Christmas weight drops of quickly. I can't trust myself on filling and healthy. What are you eating at the moment?

Rainicorn · 10/01/2015 16:44

I'm sure you'll get there. Don't be so hard on yourself.

AndMiffyWentToSleep · 10/01/2015 18:12

My first goal is for my jeans to feel less tight around my thighs Blush
If I don't achieve that by the end of January things will be pretty desperate!

Rainicorn · 10/01/2015 19:20

Urgh, I'm stuffed. DH made seafood paella and it's the biggest meal I've had all week.

Still have 7 pp left for today so I might have to have a glass of wine.

hevs10593 · 10/01/2015 20:29

No! I ate it all but the whole thing was 170g and the chocolate dip accounted for 24% of the whole thing. I wouldn't have thought the points would be too high.

BitOutOfPractice · 10/01/2015 20:32

Hello! Can I join you? I started last Sunday so weigh in tomorrow (doing it at home)

I've been golden all week bt right at the last hurdle I've fallen - eaten two slices of pizza Angry that DD had for her sleepover friends

Rainicorn · 10/01/2015 20:48

Hev, the fat won't be 24% though as fruit has hardly any fat, so can't really work it out like that.

BitOut, any chance you have weeklies left? Take the pizza from that.

Marmite27 · 10/01/2015 20:48

I never lost more than 1 or 2lb a week. The highest loss was 3lb and I put 1lb back on the next week - my only gain!

Low number slow losses are best, so don't give up hope.

Saying that I lost 3.5lb this week, I suppose loosing the half a box of milk tray I was eating a day made a difference!

BitOutOfPractice · 10/01/2015 20:52

I have all my weeklies rain and a few activity oints too (I told you I'd been golden Grin

I'm writing it off and going to bed early I think!

Rainicorn · 10/01/2015 20:59

Then fret not, you're still, within your limit.

I have 38 weeklies and 3 activity points left, weigh in day is Monday (do it myself at home). Tempted to have a huge pudding with my dinner tomorrow.

gregthepeg · 10/01/2015 21:07

I am starting again on Monday. I do it online as can't get to a class. Hopefully by joining this thread will help keep me focused. Got just under 2 stone to lose.

hevs10593 · 10/01/2015 21:08

The chocolate dip accounts for 24% of the product though so I was thinking if the whole thing is 7 then the chocolate dip will be 24% of the whole 7 points. If you get me?

Rainicorn · 10/01/2015 21:12

Yeah I know what you mean, but the majority of the calories, fat, carbs etc will be from the chocolate.

Rainicorn · 10/01/2015 21:13

How much did the chocolate alone weigh?

hevs10593 · 10/01/2015 21:17

I didn't weigh it but next time I eat one I'll weigh I'll make sure I weigh it Grin

Harverina · 11/01/2015 00:29

Ethelb I have had lots of success on points in the past and always avoided any alternative plans - I forget what it was before f&h.

But this time I did simple start in week 1 and lost 8lbs so thought I would keep going with f&h and when I stick to the list and within my 49 weeklies I always lose.

An example of a typical day - porridge with sweet freedom for breakfast, 2 brown sandwich thins with cold meat and salad for lunch, spat Bol with whole wheat pasta for dinner. At the weekend I usually have a cooked breakfast using things from the list - so bacon medallions, egg, mushrooms, baked beans. I usually have two crumpets with jam or choc shot for supper too.

I find I can eat really well on f&h, I don't weigh anything. I don't gorge but I don't go hungry. It's a revelation for me honestly!

BitOutOfPractice · 11/01/2015 11:41

Weighed in this morning. I lost 5.6lbs! I am SOOOOO chuffed Grin

Cpt574 · 11/01/2015 13:43

Hi, hope I am ok to join, signed up for 3 months online yesterday. Would really like to lose 2stone, am aiming for 1stone by my 40th at the end of February. Have never really managed to lose weight before and am more now than I have ever been, am nervous to try and not succeed! However, have decided to start on the filling and healthy and see how it goes. Have also done week 1 of c25k , which wasn't too bad, just going to plan for the week this afternoon and keep my fingers crossed I don't lose my way as quickly as normal, and that I can keep going long enough to actually drop some weight.

Rainicorn · 11/01/2015 14:02

Well done BitOut. That pizza obviously helped Wink

I'm not sure I'd want to do F&H, I need to be controlled.

Welcome CPT and good luck.

Have been craving crisps all week, just something crunchy. Picked up some Moroccan spiced chickpea shell things from M&S today, 2pp and very tasty.

Cpt574 · 11/01/2015 14:06

Bitout, that's brilliant, well done

BitOutOfPractice · 11/01/2015 14:17

It was the pizza what did it Rain Grin

How's everyone doing today. I find weekends the toughest
