I'm on day 3 (yes, early days I know) of the PP plan. I've done WW in the past but gave put it all back on a year on from having my son.

I'm planning on going for achievable. There's 7 weeks to go, so with Christmas parties ahead, I think a 1lb a week weight loss is achievable.

So who is joining me?

No Sad and nobody else has noticed either. I am quite tall, so carry my weight well.

I feel more confident though and I'm wearing clothes I wouldn't outfits I wouldn't usually feel comfortable in. Though I think that's more to do with my mindset and mentality, rather than how I look physically.

Eagerly looking forward to the first ice someone asks 'Have you lost weight'.

Hi well done for the losses....I got to gold this week feeling magic !!!! I think we all deserve to feel proud of ourselves....x

KosherBacon · 22/12/2013 20:40

Wifey- that is amazing. Congratulations. I am making a vow that when I get to gold I am going to keep going at least once a month so that I stay there.

Mazzle- boo. Nobody has really noticed on me, however I have realised that my size 16 work trousers make me look like a clown, and I only have one pair of size 14s. It was only this past week that I noticed.

Is gold your target? (She asks innocently, clearly never having gotten anywhere close!)

wifeymerrick · 24/12/2013 08:39

Yeah it's the target the leader set meaning an ideal BMI ....I thought I would want to lose a wee bit more but feeling great so she was right ! You will do it mazzle...keep going :-)

KosherBacon · 24/12/2013 10:44

You can choose what you want your goal weight to be. Once you get to goal weight you become a gold member and get to go to class for free.

Garhhh. Really must walk away from the fridge. The inlaws sent us home with sliced cold goose, Christmas cake and that tom kerridge orange cake.

Fear not Kosher and Wifey, soon this will all be over and itwillbeeasy to get back into good habits. Don't let a week of excess spoil all your past success!

I was 9lb down just before Christmas (Dec. 21st), but ate what I liked 24th through to the 26th. To begin with, my shrunken stomach couldn't handle all the food and I felt ill, but with a great deal of effort it soon stretched to accommodate!

For the last few days I've abandoned Weight Watchers and instead I'm using the My Fitness Pal app (which is free) to count calories as well as 5:2 fasting.

Hoping that tomorrow I will be down to my pre-Christmas weight. Sooooo looking forward to two days of food and drink over New Year's Eve/Day! The last few days have been a real struggle to keep on track.

wifeymerrick · 30/12/2013 22:53

That's the stuff! And it will be so much easier now that we're about to be inundated with fitness DVDs and healthy eating ads!
