PISTE happy 15th wa
BEBE sorry you feelnaff
ALI hope you said no to the cakes

last day of being bad and diet and stepping on scales start again tomorrow

i guesstimate that i have put on 10lbs or so,im was so bad and normally put on a lb a day on holiday

off to gym tonight and body combat - havnt been for nearly 3 weeks and sure i will be aching and in serious pain tomorrow morning

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/07/2010 20:28

'staggers from gym. Crawls to car. Whimpers'

bebejones · 15/07/2010 20:54

Oh dear Poor Blondes!!

Have been very good today & not cheated at all The sore throat is helping as I just don't feel like eating...am making the most of it!

Meeting a friend for drinks 2moro morning at local farm shop place with scrummy cakes will need all my willpower to resist! AliB - hope you managed to resist the cakes today?!

RatherBeOnThePiste · 15/07/2010 21:39

So, Laughalot, 38F boobies??????

I followed you on the Gok thread!

I wish big time I had measured myself before we started losing weight. I measured myself today and I was 34 round ( actually more like 33) and I'm not sure on the other bit but am wearing a c and it's a bitbaggy. Sadmaking.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 15/07/2010 22:47

Rather - mine are a 38FF/G and I would so prefer them to be smaller. Loads of clothes that fit on the shoulders are too tight across the bust, and if they fit on the bust then often they hang off my shoulders, it's really annoying. I would love to be a nice neat C cup!

I did avoid the cake in Starbucks, but then we went to Pizza Express for dinner! I had a whole pizza, and chocolate cake for pudding. And wine.

Blondes - well done for hitting the gym!

bebe - hope you do better tomorrow than I did today!!

RatherBeOnThePiste · 16/07/2010 06:44

Reading that gok thread does really show want array of body shapes we all have, I always think that whatever we have we always want something else!

I have broad shoulders so stuff that fits there anticipates a big bust iyswim...

The good thing is that it is FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

bebejones · 16/07/2010 07:56

Having big boobs is not all it's cracked up to be. I'm currently in a 34G (it's a bit loose so need to go get measured) I can basically only wear stretchy t-shirt type tops otherwise they just don't fit right. It is so annoying! Like AliB I would just love to be a nice neat C cup!

AliB - very of your Pizza express, sometimes living in the sticks is really annoying!

SO pleased it is Friday, this week has really dragged even though I've been super busy. Think that now I have gone back to the diet (apart from Weds slip up) I'm feeling a bit shakey, is this ketosis? I'm ok after I have eaten but in between I start getting really jittery!

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/07/2010 08:28

big boobs arent fab - though mr blondes thinks so - years ago when i lost 4stone i was a 38e and went to a 34c - now im about a 34d

GT good luck with interview

im really suffereing today - arms/legs and bums ache

but hopefully will motivate me

i put on 7lbs

'whimpers and takes self painfully to the step of shame and sits there sobbing her blonde heart out'

gonna take me prob 2mths to get that off as normally a lb a week girl

Morning

GT good luck with your interview today!

Blondes - that is not toooo bad, how long were you away for? I put on 10lbs on honeymoon! Some will be water retention so I reckon you will lose at least a couple in the first week.

Bebe - could be ketosis, I felt rubbish and wobbly for a couple of days when I started low carbing.
I am the same with tops, I can rarely wear things which are fitted round the bust and certainly nothing with buttons as it all gapes terribly. A lady I saw yesterday was wearing a lovely shirt with her jeans and looked fab, I was like this

I have got a proper sugar/carb comedown this morning, feel sluggish and awful. Going to Shred in a little while and I'm hoping it will give me some energy!

RatherBeOnThePiste · 16/07/2010 11:39

Hope it went well GT.

bebejones · 16/07/2010 13:20

Trimmer - hope it went well today?!

Didn't have any cake this morning but did have a hot chocolate without cream! Bought a scrummy roasted pepper quiche in the farm shop which I'm sure is very naughty but have only had a small piece with some salad. Will try and make it last the weekend

Blondes - that isn't that bad not for the whole holiday. Like AliB said some will just be water & hopefully will come off quickly. Plus it might give your body a bit of a kick start again, especially with the bc you do. I feel certain that I have lost my water weight this week...been peeing for England! Fingers crossed anyway!

GettinTrimmer · 16/07/2010 13:31

Hello ladies

Thanks for good luck wishes, the story with the year 2s went well, we chatted for quite a while about what we would see if flying in the sky as a kite, what we would do if we were flat, I included all the children in the discussion.

The Headteacher asked me what I would do differently next time, but I suppose he's looking to see if I can self-appraise, I did think he may have thought it didn't go well (probably being paranoid).

Not so sure about the 20 minute panel.

The Head will ring me late afternoon.

blondes the 7lb will beat a retreat, maybe quicker than you think.

bebe I can get the shakes if I don't eat very much lunch, after I've done the school run especially.

The good news is, I am wearing a smart work skirt that fits now, pre-dc it was loose though. But couldn't get it on previously.

I don't like my boobies either. I have a size 18 shirt on, it fits me on the boobs, but it's supposed to be fitted everywhere else, it's baggy around the middle.

piste hope you had a good wa. And great for you that it's finally Friday!!

RatherBeOnThePiste · 16/07/2010 14:07

I am loving the the fact you suggest I have "a nice neat c cup"

C cup it may be
Nice and neat it ain't!

Blondes. It will come back off!!
Am wondering about GT.....
And PBM...... We are going to Dublin in august, maybe I shall hunt her down or possibly stalk her!!

GettinTrimmer · 16/07/2010 14:29

Thanks for thinking of me girls, we must have cross posted somehow.

Still keep everything crossed until the phone call this afternoon!!

OP posts:
RatherBeOnThePiste · 16/07/2010 14:43

GT - I have it all crossed, so much so that I can barely move!

We did cross posts - I did mine on my phone and can only imagine it took a while to go through.

Yes, self appraisal is big, don't be paranoid any more. That would be a standard question, everyone is always encouraged to think about development of practice Our school appraisal system is discussion based on self appraisal, then someone like me has their input too. Good luck!

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/07/2010 15:52

I'm in touch with pbm and she said she will come back and join us once her head and heart is in the right place

gt. Hope you hear good news soon
bebe. Quiche sounds yummy
Ali how was the shred
piste takes tissue and rubs sore bum from hefty kick
murtette how's it going

been very good and so far had

oat so simple and skim 2.5
chicken and salad sandwich, peppers, strawberry and snack bar 6

might make spaghetti bol tonight

RatherBeOnThePiste · 16/07/2010 16:10

Blondes... Tell PBM that when I go to Ireland I shall smile at every woman I see in case its her!
Then I shall probably be arrested as a loon.

Send her our love xxxx

bebejones · 16/07/2010 16:13

Trimmer - got everything crossed for you!

Blondes - I really fancy a chicken sandwich now

Making curry tonight will have with steamed brown rice and a mini naan. Have had a domestic day today. Made a banana loaf first thing and have just made some strawberry & gooseberry jam & stewed some gooseberries as well. The house smells amazing! Think I'm doing quite well for my Christmas hampers this year & will use our home grown apples too when they are ready in Sept!

Message for PBM - sending much love & hugs. You take your time & we are always here if you need us xx

GettinTrimmer · 16/07/2010 17:01

Boo! I didn't get the job

I am pleased to have got through to the interview anyway, 20 applied and 6 interviewed. The Head said the story and the discussion went really well, I relate well to children but job went to someone with more experience with junior age children and in the library.

I have been seriously rubbish this week and would have gained tomorrow - cheese and pickle and chocolate biscuits for lunch.

One of Piste's arse kicks for me I think..

OP posts:
Alibabaandthe40nappies · 16/07/2010 17:21

Oh GT that is rubbish

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 16/07/2010 17:24

Blondes I didn't Shred, DVD player seems to have died, but I did a workout on EA sports active on the Wii and made some of the exercises harder using bits from the Shred. So I have not been completely lazy

I am a bag of nerves over this wedding tomorrow and just feel like I want to eat everything in sight. Fortunately there is no cake, crisps etc in the house otherwise I would have eaten it all, and I've actually been very good today food-wise. Sausages and cauli-cheese for dinner when I can be arsed to make it!

bebejones · 16/07/2010 18:25

Trimmer how rubbish, their loss

AliB - I'm sure the wedding will be fine, try and relax & enjoy it as much as you can.

Feeling completely stuffed, finished off a small piece of quiche that DD didn't eat at dinner...after I'd had curry! It was only a little piece but it's a bit of a slippery slope!! Hoping that my manic active day has counteracted that naughty bits! Didn't sit down for the whole 2 hours DD was napping & was rushing around here there & everywhere this morning, tired now!

RatherBeOnThePiste · 16/07/2010 18:34

No GT, you can have the pep talk!

You did incredibly well to get the interview, it is such a competitive area. These term time jobs in schools are highly in demand. Round here and I'm sure we aren't exclusive to this, jobs advertised as classroom assistants often go to qualified teachers who want an easier ride for a few years whilst their families are small

Use this as a learning experience and take from it. An experience like this is never for nothing.

You've done so well.
Enjoy your weekend.
Pep talk over.

Murtette · 16/07/2010 20:02

GT - sorry to hear you didn't get the job but well done for actually getting to the interview stage. That will give you a lot of confidence for the next interview you go to. And well done on getting into the skirt too.

Blondes - glad to hear you're in touch with PBM

Reading your posts about pizza express, starbucks etc is making me feel quite smug for once as I've been very good for the past few days. My main downfall has been jaffa cakes as since I read Blondes' post about them only being 1p I feel as though I may as well have one of those instead of an apple in the middle of the afternoon!

Have a good weekend ladies. We're not up to much which is a relief as the last few weekends have been busy, busy, busy.

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/07/2010 20:52

gt sorry you didnt get the job ((hug))but you did SO well to even get to interview stage!!!
murtette asdas jc are 1/2p eacg, just like an apple
ali where is the wedding, im doing a wedding creache tomrrow at cain manor - though obv not your wedding as no kids there
