I've had a rubbish day today. DD wanted to make pancakes and as we've been having a rough time with her and food (over sensitive eater) I said yes. Ended up eating pancakes x 2 and chocolate sauce Blush. Also went out to coffee with a friend and had strawberry tart [horrified emoticon]. Can't face the gym tomorrow, but am off again on Saturday. Will try to work out for a bit longer than usual to make up :)

Back to counting tomorrow and no snacking tonight. It won't help counter the sweet and gooey goodies I've had today, but I'm keeping it light tomorrow. Hopefully it'll balance out. I'll weigh again tomorrow, though I only weighed myself yesterday, so not expecting any difference.

Well done on the weight loss Jodie. Hope the gym was fun Blondes. Catch everyone tomorrow (or Saturday morning if, as I suspect, DD takes over my Friday evenings again:))

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/09/2010 22:54

oh huffy the pancakes sound yum

i went to the gym and to friends leaving do afterwards, but i was good and drove and had diet coke

part of me feels i should lose tomorrowbut other part thinks no i ate chinese twice Blush

Good Morning Fabulous Fatty Fighting Flange!

I am overexcited because I have lost 2 bloody marvellous pounds wooooooohooooooooooo!!

What I hadn't really appreciated when I weighed in on Monday and had sts was that I had AF looming. I had been really good and didn't see why I hadn't lost, that's why I felt so despondent. Anyway, my first loss since July!!

I think it was Gt who voiced my concern about being a Friday Former Fatty now Fitty, and that was I shall have to work hard to NOT over relax over the weekend! Catch up later...

prettybird · 17/09/2010 11:19

I did manage to get the scales to say 12st 12lb on one attempt this morning Shock - but we have an uneven bathroom floor and I couldn't get the scales to repeat that figure. They kept on insisting on 13st 2lb Hmm

Trust me, I tried! Grin

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/09/2010 12:57

Pmsl prettybird. Least you tried Grin

laughalot · 17/09/2010 13:01

Well I am gutted i knew i had put a pound on after last weekend but have been really really good this week and scales say iv put 3 lb on Sad Shock. It is my af this week but 3 lb when iv ate really good im gutted.

Well done to everyone who has lost go girls !!!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/09/2010 16:42

aww laughalot Sad its a bummer when you are good and put weight on

RatherBeOnThePiste · 17/09/2010 17:13

I think AF has a lot to answer for.

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/09/2010 20:05

How did everyone else do today on weigh day?

I'm trying to be good today as doing another wedding crèche tomorrow early eve to 1am and I am in a hotel room an can order room service for tea

'gulps'

prob be cheesey chips and cold burgers etc

GettinTrimmer · 18/09/2010 07:23

Morning Fabulous Fighting Fitties!

I think I sts this week. My eyesight is getting worse and I need another trip to the opticians, I couldn't read the scales properly. May even have gained a little.

I completely lost momentum from Wednesday and started snacking too much, my mind just on other things (which is no excuse), another kick up the butt needed.

Well done on all the losses. For those of us who have gained - keep going!!

piste I am thinking of changing to Friday too, a change is as good as a rest! Congrats on your 2lb

jodie well done on your 1lb.

bebe well done on your2lb

pretty Impressed at your sticking with the shred. I found friends noticed my arms were looking more toned.

I have to concentrate on my running atm, not looking ahead to 24th Oct when I have to run 10 miles!!

blondes well done on sts. How many little ones in the creche?

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 18/09/2010 07:49

Morning gt. Well done for sts

I have 2 babys 8/9mths. Met one of the mums last night with the bride. Other mum failed to turn up Hmm

they are French which I knew but mum didn't even speak basic English so I wld say to the bride about bedtime routine. She then spoke in French to the mum who replied and then bride translated in English for me

mum said if child doesn't settle I could take for a walk. I said I couldn't leave the other child alone in the hotel room Hmm and after several translations the mum finally understood

have a feeling it's gonna be a long night

but hey I get room service :)

off to the gym in a bit

Ali and fruitgums and maria are you still with us?

Is it worth trimming the list again?

Huffy did you weigh yesterday? Often the 1st weigh in is a few lbs loss

Blondeshavemorefun · 18/09/2010 07:53

Sarahmia even not maria

bloody iPhone and it's spellcheck

How about dischanted and kayz and cote?

Have we really lost so many? :(

GettinTrimmer · 18/09/2010 08:50

I was thinking the same about trimming the list, not seen some of these ladies for a long while. Good luck with creche, they are little. At least they've got a bedtime routine!

can someone give me some positive thoughts to remotivate myself Sad Off running later so that should help.

OP posts:
RatherBeOnThePiste · 18/09/2010 09:43

GT. This time last year we were all unhealthy, significantly overweight and clearly not happy with ourselves or we wouldn't have joined this group in January. . You have done really well for the whole year, we all have. You have lost and maintained that loss and you are amazing. You are much healthier and fitter as a result and you must love your new look! This applies to the whole group, we really need to reflect on what we have achieved maybe?!

To top it all GT you are doing something that few in this country could, this run of yours is a big deal and you are brave and bold to be doing it! I felt brave and bold doing the comic relief mile, but yours is in whole different league!!

So don't lose focus! Concentrate on the run for now and then when you get there, the spirit of the occasion will blow you away. That will further motivate you to not go back to your old ways.

X

RatherBeOnThePiste · 18/09/2010 09:44

....and get to the opticians you blind bat!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 18/09/2010 09:59

Kicks gt into shape :)

and piste very true. We are all slimmer than we were this time last year and we should be proud

huffythethreadslayer · 18/09/2010 10:36

All you old timers are an inspiration to us all! I am heavier than I was last year because I've sat on my butt and eaten more than I need to function.

You guys have worked hard all year and have lost weight/maintained weight loss as a result.

Keeping motivated is really hard, but this thread is ideal.

I'll be posting my weight once I've hooked up my Wii fit and weighed myself on the board. Expecting to have put weight on this time (had a great day til tea time, low fat cous cous salad, lf coleslaw and a wrap for lunch, cereal for brekkie, no snacks, no crisps) but then had birthday shopping treat with three 9 year old girls.

Off out tonight for wedding anniversary, but am determined to go for the fish dish and will ask for it sauce free. Keep fighting the fight :)

Blondeshavemorefun · 18/09/2010 11:35

Happy wa huffy. It's a long haul thing - diet and marriage rofl

keep with us and this time next year you can look bacj and be proud :)

GettinTrimmer · 18/09/2010 12:24

piste Grin I need new glasses every year these days. Didn't get on with contacts at all. Are you one of those lucky people who don't need them past (ahem) a certain age?

I feel a bit better talking to you flangies/slinkies, even with a bad summer gaining back half of what I lost we've still done alright, and I am a stone lighter than last year which has stayed off.

huffy a few times I've completely lost motivation but this is for the long haul, etc, etc. We can keep going together. Enjoy wa.

blondes forgot to ask, you feeling better? Hope all goes well later, we are going to early bird at the Harvester which I love because of the salads.

OP posts:
RatherBeOnThePiste · 18/09/2010 12:41

Keep fighting the fight fellow flangies!

Yes GT I have perfect peepers. A big arse however, but my eyes are perfect! LOL
