Yes but I had more to lose! Can feel myself starting to slip back into old habits! Confused Never thought I'd be wearing size 12 jeans again though, so am very proud of myself for that! :o

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/09/2010 22:12

chuck away all your 14+ sizes and you will have to say the same

saying that, i did the same threw away all my 18's and had to buy a new wardrobe of everything 12, and think some clothes have streched and hence why i can fit into some but tight, where others i cant/couldnt get past my thighs

BE PROUD OF YOURSELF BEBE!!!!

LizinFrance · 04/09/2010 23:19

Hi there,

Just discovered your website. Fantastic. What do I need to do to join your weight loss group? Have 4 stone to lose.

Cheers
Liz

Blondeshavemorefun · 05/09/2010 00:10

hi liz, welcome,we are lovely Smile just copy and paste your name on end of list, if you are nutty brave like us, put your starting weight, and weight you would like to be

4stone sounds a lot,but bebe has done that in just over 7mths

but think of it more as a lb a week and may take a year

what diet are you planning to do

we are all doing different diets, im on ww,as are a few others

LizinFrance · 05/09/2010 08:00

Hi blonbdeshavemorefun

Thanks for your message. There are some fab weight losses here! Need some motivation so good to see! Have always done slimming world, but am just going to try eating sensible, smaller portions to start with, and stop picking in between. Do you go to a ww club, or do it at home? How does the ww work?

4 stone in 7 months thats fantastic bebe. I would like to have lost a couple of stone by Christmas. We live in France, and are back to the UK for Christmas - lots of my family have lost weight and I soooo dont want to go back still being 'the big one'.

Well, here we go.... will post my name to end of list.

Thanks,

Liz

Welcome Liz! It can be done! Take a look at www.foodfocus.co.uk, I know you are in France but it still might help! If nothing else it's a good way of keeping track of progress! I love looking at the little weight graph for the last 6 months & seeing the little line go down! :o

Blondes - Blush Thanks! Was thinking about putting on my big jeans again & taking a pic (slimmer of the year style) to spur me on a bit! I'm so close, I can't stop now! Back on the soups in the cold miserable weather this week!

Blondeshavemorefun · 05/09/2010 12:16

liz, i do ww at home, refuse to pay someone to weigh and shame me Grin i brought the books, i know how ww points work - i did ww 7yrs ago and lost 4stone in 11mths -was 15stone and got to 11stone (so same as you) ,kept it off for 5yrs or so then it started to creep back on and gained just under 2.5stone Blush im getting slowly back to 11 stone(that is my goal now)

bebe, def wear your trousers so you reliese what a big gap you now have - i really hope mr bebe is proud of yu,if not then blondes here will be kicking HIM!!!

off for a roast dinner in a pub, but will be good and eat/ask for tons of veg

GettinTrimmer · 05/09/2010 14:49

Hi all

I'm back in the zone today, soup, ryvitas/houmous and fruit for me. Will be able to see exactly how much I have gained at tomorrow's weigh in.

liz welcome Smile where in France are you?

Blondes Good idea to chuck out the bigger clothes. Hope you enjoyed the roast, that's what we're having for tea but only x1 roast spuds for me!

Bebe Agree it would be good to see another before and after photo, it would inspire us all!

Gained 5lb over holiday as now gone up to 12 stone. At my lightest a little while back I was 11 stone 3 (don't think I updated for a while).

I remember I was 11 stone 9 just before going on holiday.

So a gain of 11 lb since term finished. It is now serious kick ass time! It's slower off than on, but I am hoping to lose it in 6 weeks.

How are you all today? Smile

OP posts:
GettinTrimmer · 06/09/2010 08:13

Hi Bebe, agree with soup and ryvitas and your gain will soon go.

OP posts:
bebejones · 06/09/2010 10:13

Made breadsticks with DD this morning & had one small one...but thats not that bad, it's not even a slice worth of bread! Blush

Trimmer - Wink It'll be fine now you are back in term time mode!

Murtette · 06/09/2010 13:30

2lbs off for me. Another 2 to go and then I'll be back to where I was pre-holiday.

Would stay and chat but need to go and get DD. She's not a fan of her lunchtime naps at the moment! Or sleeping in general for that matter...

well done murtette on loss

bebe, 1lb is a small gain and you had been bad

trimmer, that is a big gain (sorry) but i also gained on my holiday and almost got the last lb off, then will be at my pre holiday weight, its a bugger, you put on weight in a week or two but take 6+weeks to get it off - you WILL get it off again x

b cheerios and skim 3p
l jacket and tuna/mayo and salad, no cheese, banana 6.5p
t prob microwave meal and veg as out so will 6/7p

how did everyone else do who weighs on a monday?

Gettin - that sounds like a realistic timetable for a loss. I'm hoping to lose a similar amount in a similar period as I want to be below 12st by DD's 1st bday.

Bebe - how can you say you've been bad? You're only 3lbs off your target, you've got a healthy BMI and you've lost almost a third of your bodyweight so far this year. 4st is equivalent to what - a 6 year old? You've put me to shame with your losses each week.

Blondes - I hate that feeling of knowing I've used up all of my points and am still peckish. Carrots are my stand by...I may be orange soon I'm eating so many of them! I'm a bit concerned I may have mis-pointed my roast last night as I worked it out as 8 points. I only had 1 roast pot though, 1 yorkhire pud, 1 bacon roll, a small amount of chicken and a mound of 0 pt veg. I think DP thought I was mad as I did cauli, peas, carrot, swede & broccoli!

Jodie - are you just weighing in at WW or on here too? I'm doing both as I think two weigh ins a week is more likely to keep me on the straight and narrow!

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/09/2010 14:05

8points sounds about right for a chicken roast, but dont forget peas are not free, 1/2p

carrots are nice, but best dipped in lf humous Grin

i went to bed with a hungary tummy Sad

think jodie does one weigh in and thats her ww one

Gosh its been busy in here since I last posted!

I AM BACK IN THE ZONE

Officially.

My bike is out again and DH even pumped up the tyres.
STS for me, but I was good up until the wedding this weekend, then I chomped away and had (ssshhh) booze

Welcome Liz from France
and welcome GT back from France, how's your little man now he's back in school? My twin nephews who live in Tokyo at the mo were over in the holidays, they are going to be 6 in October and don't start Elementary School until next Easter, they are still in part time nursery happily playing in the sand and water. Funny how its so different..

Waves to everyone
I have added the list here, as mine was wrong, sadly I have gone the wrong way
