bebejones · 10/08/2010 10:23

Morning all! Have popped a couple of pics of DD on profile, and the cake! Don't have any of me on my camera so will have to wait & see if anyone else has any!

PBM - well done on loss! :) Thank you for being nice about my cake...just as well you couldn't see the back of it...was a mess!! Blush

Blondes - step away from the chocolate! Wink

Need to get back on it after the last couple of days, we had fish & chips last night & I had coronation chicken wrap at lunch! But walked miles round the zoo!! Have still got loads of birthday cake left, will have to get DH to take some to work!

GettinTrimmer · 10/08/2010 10:38

morning ladies

bebe love the cake, and your dd is very cute! She looks like you. Did you make your wedding cake too?

PBM Woo Hoo! Very well done on the 2lb. I'll link the pics later. Yes, I need the butt kicks...

blondes How was the exertion yesterday? I admire your resolve over the ww choc bar. Could you not have it taking exercise points into account?

I am having my hair done today, I was supposed to have it cut the day before the wedding but someone was off sick, so it just got styled by a young girl training and hoping to get a job (just left school) and snipped a little bit by someone supervising. She did so well she was offered the job, and now I'm having a half price (supervised) cut with her, can't wait!! I get a nice cappuccino and can chill for a while, and mum babysitting for dc.

Then going for a run. Still haven't received my application pack in the post, so hope I can do it Hmm If not at least it's got me back into exercise.

Having a really bad food day. Throat is sore again & have just been picking at party leftovers all day! Blush Not loads overall, but not healthy stuff :( Will gorge myself on watermelon tonight to try & compensate!

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/08/2010 20:59

Poohbearsmom · 10/08/2010 21:11

Snap Bebe iv been on the watermellon this eve too Grin tis so filling and lovely. Omg your little princess is absolutly georgous! She has a fantastic smile :) im glad ye had a lovely day you'l have to throw a coffee morning of something to use up all the leftovers! But stops picking!! Your doing too good dont let that caterpiller tempt you to another slither! Grin hope the throat eases soon

Trimmer hope you get your forms sorted but regardless all the prep will be doing your health the world of good. Do you get the happy hormones after running? My little sister sware's she does and is on an endorphine (sp?) "high" for a good half hour after, is that true? I think she may just be trying to trick me into moving my butt to find out Grin are you going dramatically changing your hair or just a trim? The girl must be very chuffed to have got the job and must have done a great job on your hair, super to get it half price tis so expensive here at the hairdressers altho i havnt actually been myself in years! im one of those hippy's who cuts her own hair Blush dont kick me off the couch!!

Blondes hope you gave that little sweety an extra kiss for me :)

bebejones · 10/08/2010 21:12

Don't know what to do about this persistant sore throat, docs have been useless! Hmm

Figured I had been so naughyt throughout the day I might as well continue...so had cheese, bread & crackers as a watermelon appetiser followed by a nice chunk of birthday cake! Roll on 2moro so I can 'start again' again!!

Blondes - lol at 'wouldn't feed a gnat'! :o One doughnut won't hurt too much (says the woman who ate her bodyweight in junk today Blush)

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 10/08/2010 21:52

Hello everyone :) Sorry I've not been around - been feeling pretty grim and have generally stuffed my face trying not to vomit. Feeling a bit better today and have eaten the following

B - Toasted english muffin, peach.
Snack - Cereal bar and apple
L - Salad, corned beef and chipstick sandwich (yes still on the crisps!)
D - pork and cauliflower curry with brown rice

Will go and read the thread now and catch up :)

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 10/08/2010 22:30

Piste hope you are having a lovely holiday!

GT - love the photos, such a pair of cuties! Well done on the running!

Bebe - that cake is awesome Puts my rather slapped together chocolate affair to shame! And here is a

Sorry some of you have got bugs, there is definitely something going round - DS has been poorly for a week now and I think DH is coming down with the same thing.

PBM - well done on the loss :)

GettinTrimmer · 11/08/2010 09:14

Morning ladies

Ali I was wondering where you were! That sickness is grim isn't it? Have you tried ginger?

PBM I have experienced a feeling of well-being after exercise, but last couple of runs I just ached a bit Confused I didn't get to go yesterday, after hair cut (just trimmed) had to collect dd from a friend's house. BUT I am going this evening, dh will come home early.

How sweet about the chocolate cakes Smile

bebe Hope sore throat gets better soon. Have you had your tonsils out?

I've had a good few bad food days Blush I find this the most difficult time of year with the break in routine, ice cream, BBQs, holidays, etc, etc. And the dc constantly asking for snacks!

Taking a picnic to the park today and meeting friends so I'm having Ryvitas Hmm picnics are another temptation!

morning

i ate my body weight in cherrys last night, was starving after my gnats meal Grinbut least was fruit!!!

TRIMMER fab news with haircut, often worth having trainees, they have to learn, get 100% supervised and you get it cheap -win win situation Smile

BEBE you were bad Shock very unlike you!!!!

PBM he was soooooooooooooooooo cute, only 6lbs and STAY away from the chocolate cake!!! but fab news you met new neighbours/children - invite them to yours for a glass of wine water Grin

ALI sorry you are feeling crap/sick - have you tried ginger nains biscuits? scrummy and low in fat

oat so simple for breakie

and plan to have soup for lunch as out at zizi tonight with friends, so will really try and be good there - seem to be eating out a lot at the moment and obv not losing weight, but least im not gaining either Smile

GettinTrimmer · 11/08/2010 09:43

IKWYM Blondes - my aim at the moment is not to gain any more and will pay attention to it in September. I may have told you this before - Zizi is French slang for penis..

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 11/08/2010 10:58

indeed you have told me before Grin

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 11/08/2010 10:58

Morning.

I keep forgetting about ginger. When I was pregnant with DS I couldn't eat any carbs for about 5 weeks so anything biscuit was off the menu. This time it is carbs all the way, depressingly.

Blondes - yum at Zizi, haven't been there for ages. Seem to remember that the portion sizes aren't too bad if you can stay out of the bread basket!

GT - I am out for a picnic tomorrow. My friend is organising the food and she always goes to M&S and gets loads of yummy things. She is really slim though, size 8/10 - I've no idea how she does it because she loves her food!

B - Cereal and a nectarine
L - Chicken sandwich
D - Sausages, couscous and salad

Blondeshavemorefun · 11/08/2010 15:37

i had sushi for lunch - was 4p and scrummy

bebejones · 11/08/2010 16:08

Have been better today Had a very small piece of cake & 2 crisps with DD at lunchtime. Just had 4 slices of watermelon, it is SO scrummy!

Blondes - Envy at sushi, I love it!

AliB - sorry you have been feeling so poorly, have you tried preggie pops? :( Have a nice time at picnic 2moro!

Trimmer - haven't had tonsils out, never even been suggested by docs even though I used to get tonsilitus alot when i was younger. This is different though, just red & swollen all the time Hmm Totally with you on this being a tough time of year diet wise. Finding it way harder than winter when I could have soup all the time! :o

Have put a pic up from today of me looking thinnish! I know my target is 10.5st but would like to be 10 really! Wink :o

Poohbearsmom · 11/08/2010 18:36

Omg Bebe! Is that really you?!? You look AMAZING and your hair is lovely too! You look fantastic i actually gasped... youv changed so incredibably much since the pic from your dd's birthday last year, really really well done :) you are such an inspiration

Blondes lol i think there would be quite a few Hmm if i went inviting the neighbours kids in for wine! Grin Seriously though would it not be wierd to invite the neighbours kids in (for lemonade Wink ) without knowing their parents?

Ali hope your not feeling too rough :( i found ginger ale and peppermint really helped me with morning sickness and ww ginger biscuits to nibble no. Most importantly get plenty of sleep nothing makes ya feel more awful then being sick and exhausted!

Trimmer enjoy the run this eve and hope the ryvetas filled ya up earlier Wink

todays the first day of Ramadan but i couldnt fast (af here damn her!) so i will probably gain over the next month with all the delicious food every night, tis so hard to be good and not just have a feast every night! Will try to behave this year Grin

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 11/08/2010 19:39

Bebe you look fantastic! You should be so so proud of yourself Grin

PBM - yum at feasts every night! I'm managing to have a nap most afternoons which is really helping me. I felt rough before lunch today though! It is weird, if someone puts food in front of me then I'm fine, but actually preparing food makes me feel awful - even just making a sandwich for lunch.

Trimmer - enjoy your run :)

Dinner was a slight variation - new potatoes and veg instead of salad and couscous with the sausages.

I have done some exercise too - only my 10-minute solution pilates, but better than nothing.

Blondeshavemorefun · 12/08/2010 07:52

bebe you look fab Smile

i may be awol Grin going to bornemouth for a few days to see my friend

i weighed today insted of tomorrow and sts, so happy with that

GettinTrimmer · 12/08/2010 09:09

bebe you look great!! Have you taken your measurements lately? I did wonder about your tonsils, when I was a child it was commonplace to whip them out, after I had mine done (age 6) I was so much better.

blondes well done on sts. Enjoy Bournemouth.

PBM You have to do the feasts! As Piste always says life gets in the way of diets. How long does the feasting go on for?

Ali I remember opening the fridge once, then running off to be sick. The cooking smells used to make me feel iffy too. Glad you are getting a chance to rest, these first 3 months are exhausting. I did go running, managed to run for 1/2 an hour which I hope if counteracting the lack of dieting going on around here Hmm

I was supposed to meet up with my friend and her ds on Friday, she's sent me a text (v. blunt) cancelling and doesn't sound v. happy - my sis & kids asked if they could visit on Friday, only day they can make and cousins not seen each other for a year.

I asked friend if she would mind if they came along with us (she knows them, met on a few occasions, I misjudged & didn't think she'd mind) or rearrange for next week.

So she's cancelled altogether & seems like she's got the hump. Can't talk to her because doesn't answer her phone. Wouldn't like me knocking on her door. Sure it'll blow over will ask her to come for lunch next week. But I hate causing bad feeling!

GettinTrimmer · 12/08/2010 09:10

bebe Also meant to ask, could you see another GP and ask for further tests, or do they think it's a virus?
