Morning ladies, I STS this week, a bit disappointed, but no surprise. I went out for dinner with DH and I had lovely Prawns to start, but a really creamy carbonara for mains (Could only eat half of it, but still Blush) and alot of garlic bread!!! I also had my AF this week, I promise you all I will be super good this week. I'm back on 'mission red dress' Grin for those of you who remember!!!! I really need to get it to fit me, I haven't a coming engagement to wear it, but it would be nice to get it to fit!

Bebe hope you are OK today? Not too much running around (yeah, right Grin)

GT Boo at the gain, but we all have those weeks don't we, at least you have something to train for now! When is the GSR?

Weighed in today as off again tomorrow morning and I know tomorrow morning I will be trying to cram our car with children and wetsuits and all that is deemed necessary by my beautiful teen daughter!! It is going to be fab. DH has arrived in this am from Washington and is all ours for a whole week! And what he doesn't fully realise is that there is crap Internet coverage so he can't secretly work when he thinks I'm not looking! LOL!!

A pound lost here, which is just as well because I reckon I'll put it back on next week. We are back next weekend so I'll catch up again with you all a week on Monday.

Congrats on sts Blondes and Jodie.
GT - that's was much better than maybe you thought? Good luck with your running!

Bebe - hang in there!!

GettinTrimmer · 07/08/2010 11:47

I've just set up a public profile to show you some pics at the wedding. We ended up getting more pictures of the peacocks than the dc Hmm.

However, loads of people took photos and the official ones will come through soon so then I can show you another one of dd looking very cute!

Have a good day all Smile

OP posts:
bebejones · 07/08/2010 13:18

Trimmer - lovely pics! Your DD looks so cute, lovely big brown eyes! :)

Having a stress, cake icing ripped when I was lowering it onto the cake so have had to patch it & it looks awful! :( So hacked off with myself, same thing happened last year! I'm unfortunately a bit of a perfectionist & it's really annoyed me! Now going to have to be creative to try & cover it up!

Just had marmite on toast for lunch, now back to it!

Poohbearsmom · 07/08/2010 17:49

Trimmer omgoodness your kids are georgous! Dd is such a cutey and ds is a handsom little fella in his lovely suit isnt he :) bet the white dress was hard to keep clean all day!

Piste well done on the loss :) hope ye have a great time on hols

Bebe youv done a fantastic job dont stress send dh to tesco for some of them ready made icing flowers or mini butterflys or the likes they'l tie in with the caterpiller theme nicely... But sure your arty and have prob done sumit lovely already!

Well done on all the kickin butt Blondes, enjoy your night :)

Jodie well done on sts hope ye had a lovely night out. Let mission red dress commence Grin

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/08/2010 17:58

aww, your kiddinwinks are well cute!!!!

F&B here i come ........

bebejones · 07/08/2010 18:03

Took me 3 hours to decorate cake!! Ended up making the fruit to decorate the edges to try & cover up the 'accident' with the icing! I'm reasonably pleased with it now, just no one better look at the back of it! Confused

Just got 100 sausage rolls to cook now before bed. Had a piece of toast today... that's it! Blush DH bless him ordered pizza, so just had some of that & garlic bread with cheese & pizza! Blush

Piste - have a lovely time away!

Poohbearsmom · 08/08/2010 08:25

Happy birthday littlejones :) i bet the cake is fantastic Bebe, give us a pic if you get a chance! Have a lovely day

Blondes hope you werent too naughty last night?? Grin

GettinTrimmer · 08/08/2010 09:25

Morning all

Thanks all for lovely comments about my dc! We didn't get very good photos but plenty more coming.

bebe Happy Birthday to dd Smile I bet the cake looks superb, you are creative. I wouldn't even attempt to ice a cake, I remember when I entered an xmas cake competition at school and mine looked like a white hedgehog!

Let us know how the party goes, it will be lovely.

PBM I am yawning at the thought of being up half the night! Hope you get some rest today.

The ivory dress will have to be dry-cleaned especially as dd was sliding around on her bottom on the dance floor (don't know where she got that idea from)!

blondes How was last night? Are you suffering?

I am having a break from running today, my shoulders, back and thighs feel a bit achey where I got out of the habit for a while. I feel back on track for the next couple of weeks till the holiday, had weetabix with fruit for breakfast, picnic somewhere for lunch (nothing naughty), then roast for tea (only x1 roast spud for me).

Have a good day all.

Blondeshavemorefun · 08/08/2010 09:55

morning -

NO hangover here Smile tho was kinda bad with food, and the creamy cocktails really didnt help my diet

babybebe have a good birthday

pmb, sorry you were up half the night, hope tonight is better

trimmer, have a nice picnic,we are out for friends 1st party for their dd

good luck with weighing tomorrow

Murtette · 08/08/2010 10:24

Happy Birthday babybebe! Bebe, I bet the cake looks fab and no one's going to look too closely anyway. I bet the other mums who turn up are going to be horrified at the thought of having to try and do something as good for their DCs!

Gettin - well done for weighing in. I think its always better to know how bad it is and then its a real boost when its not as bad as you thought! And what gorgeous DCs

PBM - sounds as though you're having a lovely start to the day.

Blondes - I'm impressed at the lack of hangover. You must have been restrained.

I had a complete disaster on the food front yesterday. We were going to a friends for a BBQ at 2pm so I ate loads of fruit before I left so I would be fairly full but when we got there (at 3 - I hate the M25!) he'd cancelled the BBQ due to weather and done pizza and chips instead. As he's a single bloke, there wasn't a piece of fruit or veg to be seen. We ended up staying til 9 so had more pizza for supper so I tried not to eat to much and then the drive home took 3 hrs (M25 shut by that point) and I had to stop for chocolate and coke on the way to keep me awake. I was hoping to go to the gym today to make up for all of the badness but DP has to work. Oh well, its only a day and I had been good all week - so good that when I had a sneaky weigh in on Friday, I'd lost 2lbs.

Enjoy your Sundays. I'll be racing around trying to keep DD away from the remote control and the drinks cabinet!

RatherBeOnThePiste · 08/08/2010 11:29

Happy birthday to your DD Bebe!

Blondeshavemorefun · 08/08/2010 11:31

3hrs on the m25 what junctions were closed - poor you murette - least you tried to be healthy, sometimes you just cant help yourself dietwise if others are cooking

bebejones · 09/08/2010 07:06

Just popping in! Am shattered, party went well, is DDs birthday today & we are going to the zoo! :) Will pop a pic on my profile of cake, and one of DD when I have uploaded the pics from the party! She has been given so much stuff which we are going to open today, have no idea where we are going to put it all, need a new house just to keep her crap things in! :o Wink

All the running around meant that I have sts after my little gain on Friday. Not to bad considering!

Murtette - Shock I hate the m25 & have always avoided it like the plague! Poor you!

Blondes - good news on the lack of hangover! :o

Blondeshavemorefun · 09/08/2010 08:15

glad party went well and fab sts

im helping dh again today ...........

GettinTrimmer · 09/08/2010 09:44

morning all

Happy Birthday to Bebe's dd!! Looking forward to seeing the cake etc.

Well done for sts. Enjoy the zoo!

murtette We always get stuck on the M25, sorry it was awful. It took us 5 hours once to get back from Essex. good luck with weigh in today.

jodie well done on sts.

blondes you will burn masses of calories again today! glad you avoided hangover hell.

I have no motivation to do my exercise dvds today - just get interrupted by the dc, but getting back into the swing of being careful with what I eat and will be able to get out for a run tomorrow.

I will do a link later, tis expensive but thinking of getting a couple of new tops from Bravissimo, one lovely halter neck one and a spaghetti strap job. See you all later.

OP posts:
Murtette · 09/08/2010 11:35

Despite Saturday's badness, I still lost 1lb Smile. Really hoping to lose another one (and so a stone in total) before going on hol on Friday.

Bebe - pls post a photo of you and DD. I'd love to see the slinky new you!

Gettin - you'll feel fab in those tops so they'll be worth it. When do you fit in your DVD? Once I'm showered and dressed, it seems a bit of a faff to exercise knowing I need to get changed for it and then shower and change again afterwards and yet doing it first thing in the morning never seems to work out.

Blondes - you'll be burning through calories today.

daisytaylor · 09/08/2010 13:18

Hi everyone sorry not been on for a few days, had a friend staying with her kids due to her fleeing from an abusive relationship, plus it was my sons birthday yesterday and i am just shattered. I have a quick 5 mins and then i have to go again. But just wanted to say not ignoring anyone. I weighed in this morning and i am down to 21st 9lb. So pleased, all that walking up and down these hills is really paying off.
Anyway i will be back on properly when my mate has got herself sorted out in a few days, i just seem to be constantly on the go with the extra kids in the house. Well done everyone x
