Evenin all

ali definitely no shredding, too strenuous. And congrats

blondes at refresher burping. what kind of sausage did you decide upon?

bebe hope you get some rest, look after yourself.

End of term tomorrow. Sorry to go on, ds atm in his room, very bad day at school, hit dd a few times I've had his before, but not since the beginning of y2. He just decided to go 2 school disco, I explained don't think good idea as he's very tired, he's telling me to go away and barracaded himself in room

pretty stressful time for you atm hope all gets settled. I sympathise about difficult bro. Mine gets himself into scrapes and has problems

On diet front, I am not repeat not doing well, went out for lunch with dh and had scampi and chips, volunteers party at the school and children brought round biscuits, nibbles, etc, etc. Dreading weigh-in on Saturday. Kicks up the butt needed all round for me

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 23/07/2010 00:49

Runs up and takes at almighty kick at gt's butt

tho scampish sounds yummy

sorry ds still having a shitty time at school

here's hoping summer hols will be better for him

it def was sausage suprise tonight for tea after the gym and the suprise was, was that there want any sausages. Pmsl

weigh day tomorrow

RatherBeOnThePiste · 23/07/2010 07:24

GT- today you get your little boy back! Have great joy breaking up!!

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 23/07/2010 09:16

Blondes - haha, just my dirty mind then!

GT - poor DS, really hope he has a lovely summer holiday.

Right I was rubbish yesterday, ate far too much bread and not enough of anything else.
Plan for today is soup for lunch, and then roast chicken for dinner. Going to do some exercise later but it is DS' birthday today so we are knee deep in presents and wrapping paper just now!

bebejones · 23/07/2010 10:29

Trimmer - your poor DS Sounds like the summer hols is much needed

AliB - Happy Birthday to your DS, how old is he? Hope you all have a fab day!

Feeling really low today, got so much crap going on at the moment & it's really stressing me out. Mouth/throat is still very sore & I just don't feel like doing anything or eating anything! Really hope I snap out of this soon

My size 14 jeans are now falling down, can barely walk 5 metres without having to pull them up. Whilst this is very exciting it is also very very irritating!

GettinTrimmer · 23/07/2010 10:45

Thank you all so much for kind comments about ds.

The emotional support lady at the school thinks he is alright, so I would assume this is tiredness and a bad day, the class teacher will be made aware even though it's the last day. I think he doesn't like feeling he is the underdog, but he does not have the overbearing/strong leader type personality of the top dog (nor have I, but I am happy with that). kids, eh?! I hope with maturity he can learn how to deal with these things.

bebe Wow! at your size 14 jeans, what a lovely problem to have. So sorry you are feeling low, I would suggest making one of your scrummy cakes, but I am on the naughty step/needing butt kick myself Sympathise at the stressy stuff going on.

blondes so what surprise did you have if it wasn't sausages?

ali Happy Birthday to your ds Is bread your greatest temptation?

OP posts:
Alibabaandthe40nappies · 23/07/2010 11:06

Bebe - wow at the jeans, that is brilliant! Sorry you are feeling crap - does the skinniness make up for any of it?

GT - his school sound lovely, really interested and aware.

Bread is one of my greatest temptations, and the problem is that when you have bread you want to put nice things in and on it! Like sausages, and corned beef and crisps. And cheese.
DH bought me one of those tiny Green and Blacks bars yesterday, and I ate less than half and then put it in the fridge. It is still there and I am really not interested. I will be so happy if my sweet tooth goes away for this pregnancy, I will lose about 7 tonnes.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 23/07/2010 11:07

Prettybird - hope the rest of the move went ok and that you're alright today.

And ty for birthday wishes for DS, he is 2 and very excited to have all his 'letters' (birthday cards).

bebejones · 23/07/2010 11:56

AliB - so with you on the bread thing! I would love some hot buttery toast & jam right now! Your DS is about the same age as my DD then, she is so excited about her party, and gets very screechy when she hears me & DH talking about it! Not 100% sure she understands, but she does love a party!

Jeans falling down is a complete PITA coz can't afford a shopping trip til at least the end of the month! Very annoyed!

Trimmer - glad the school are being so supportive. I am making cakes today, have made some scones for DH & some raspberry oaties (MN recipe) and will make a banana cake later too as have some very spotty bananas that I don't want to throw out! Maybe if I eat it all then my jeans wont fall down anymore!

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/07/2010 16:24

I LOST 2 LBS

does happy dance, and that was with me eating what i liked on monday for my birthday and also saturday at the wedding

bebejones · 23/07/2010 18:04

Go Blondes, go blondes!!! Whoop whoop!!

I actually really like tuna pasta bake but we never have it coz DH hates tuna! So actually a bit of your DH making it for your dinner!!

I have eaten too much cake....ooops! But its jab night & have had a crap day so needed to cheer myself up!

GettinTrimmer · 23/07/2010 18:35

Wow!! Well done Blondes.

Dreading my weigh in tomorrow. If it wasn't for this thread I would probably not bother after the week I've had.

I will be reporting tomorrow whatever it is. I have got to have a good week, I do not want to gain this weight again.

OP posts:
GettinTrimmer · 23/07/2010 18:36

All the best with jab Bebe x

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 23/07/2010 19:26

Thanks. It really made my day

gt good luck tom. Sure you will lose but if you gain it won't be 7lbs like I did

bebe. Sorry was jab night

I LOVE tuna pasta bake and I add low fat Mayo and phili in it to make really creamy

I did boxing this morning at the gym

arms are now killing me but you know what they say

no pain no gain

let's hope I don't next week lol

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 23/07/2010 22:04

Well done Blondes!

bebe hope you're ok

Mmmmm at tuna pasta bake. DH hates it so I never get to eat it, so I'm also quite jealous!

I've been good today. No random snacking and I didn't even finish all of my dinner.
Tomorrow is going to be a disaster on the food front, we have got a few family and friends coming to have a BBQ for DS' birthday. I have tried to keep carbs to a sort of minimum, haven't bought a ton of bread just some pitta and then I'm doing a couscous to go with the meat. But there will be birthday cake, and we are having cheese and biscuits. Still, I shan't be drinking more than a glassful so I suppose that's something!!

GT - good luck with the weigh in. Whatever it is, at least then you know and you can put it behind you and move on.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 24/07/2010 07:28

Congrats Blondes - excellent loss!
GT - Keep going! Our success has been keeping going!
Do you all remember those days when as a group we were saying no one had noticed our weight loss and we were fed up?! Well now I can't move for people saying how amazing I look and stuff! It's lovely but a bit embarrassing!! Really good motivation.

We are off to Devon very early tomorrow so am weighing in 2 days early. Am sts, nearly lost one but am happy to declare sts, also got AF this morning. DC are going surfing and kayaking and we are camping. It's us and a friend and her DCs. DH is working so not with us on this trip.
Back soon. Don't cross me off!!!

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 24/07/2010 08:24

I've done an interim weigh in too due to the planned excess of today, and I've lost 1lb! V.pleased with that.

Rather - that is lovely to get so many nice comments, I can't wait until I'm in that position although I think it will be a while now, ie. after the baby!
Have a lovely time in Devon, at you being by the sea!

Morning ladies

piste well done on sts, considering how easy it is to gain we need just as many congratulations for that also! We need to keep our perspective, I remember also when we had lost coming up for a stone no-one really notice at that point. We have all kept going, and this is the most successful I have been in losing weight since 7 years ago.

Have a fab holiday.

ali very well done on your 1lb. Have a great day doing things (a little bit!) to excess. Are you feeling sick at all?

I sts this week, and really pleased with that. Today will be a write off, but it is the beginning of the week. It is our 11th wedding anniversary and going to a posh Indian restaurant tonight

My lovely ds is so much happier, just the thought of no school for 6 weeks has given him a boost. It has had a knock on effect and he is looking forward to his party instead of the idea of it sending him into confusion and worry. I know many summer born children are fine, but he has always found school challenging being so young in the year, so I am especially proud of him to have reached just above average with his reading and science

OP posts:
bebejones · 24/07/2010 08:39

Well done Piste & Ali!

Piste - have a lovely time away!

Not holding out much hope for Monday's weigh in. Ate too much cake yesterday & complete forgot we are going to a BBQ today! Oh well!

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 24/07/2010 08:49

bebe - have fun today

GT - well done on sts So pleased that DS is feeling better, and has got good results, yay for him!
I am worried about how DS will get on at school initially, he will be one of the youngest in his year too which does bother me a bit. His 'best friend' is only 6 weeks younger than him but will be a whole school year behind so she'll be that much more grown up and independent when she goes to school.

I'm not feeling sick yet, and I'm on tenterhooks waiting for it! I'm 5 weeks today and with DS I was feeling crap from before 6 weeks, so any day now I think. Must say the temptation to stuff my face while I can is overwhelming, but I know that if I do that then I won't get m/s and will end up putting on tons of weight which I do NOT want.

bebejones · 24/07/2010 08:55

Ali - I know exactly what you mean about your DS. I feel the same about my DD, she will definately be one of the youngest having an August birthday. Just hoping that she has a strong enough personality to cope with it!

Are you planning on weighing in for a while yet?

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 24/07/2010 09:00

bebe I'll be watching my weight all the way through my pregnancy so I'll certainly stay here with you lovely lot for several months to come! My hope is that I won't put on more than the stone I've just lost if that makes sense, it's not like my body will need any additional fat stores!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 24/07/2010 09:21

PISTE have a lovely time and well done for sts

ALI well done on lb loss, even tho you are pregnant, it is still possible to lose weight, my friend did on ww, tbh you only need to eat an extra 200 cals a day in the 3rd trimester, and thats just like an extra bit of toast, so keep eating healthily

GT agree sts is also good and happy 11th wa and have a fabby time tonight, eat and drink all in sight and starts afresh tomorrow

BEBE dont get down, you may still lose weight and a little cake doesnt hurt, at bbq, eat tons of salad and take skin off drumsticks or just have a sausage

im just off to the gym to do body combat, which will then hopefully couneract all the booze im going to drink tonight as going out for birthday drinks with mr blondes and friends

bebejones · 24/07/2010 09:29

Blondes - trust you to bring up sausages!
