i'm horrified to find I have put on 1 stone 7 lb in the last year.

horrified.

So, back to Weight Watchers I go.

I weigh in at 13 stone 8 (horror) and am taking it one day at a time with 21 pooints a day.

Mushrooms cooked in frylight are my life saver.

HI ladies

Can i join too - i joined ww last tuesday and have been really good this week but could do with some online support when the biscuit tin calls my name.

My dc2 is 2 months and ebf so i have heaps of points to get through but worry i'm eating too much to lose weight - suppose the scale will tell me tomorrow.

I weigh 13st 2lbs and my target is 10stone so i have a long way to go. I have a feeling that even at 10 stone i might need to keep going but thats m short term goal

Hi everyone!

Had my first baby 5 weeks ago and realise I now have to sort my weight out whimper.

I am planning on joining my local WW on Wednesday but was wondering if that will be a problem as I am ebf and have only been doing it for 5 weeks? Do I have to wait for a certain amount of time? I think we've got it quite well established now but can it still affect the milk supply?

I'm too scared to weigh myself but I suspect I'm around the 15st mark. Oooh I'm a greedy bugger, the bf is making me worse too!

Hope all you point counting ladies are doing well and aren't hungry!

Hello all. I did my first weigh in this morning and have lost 4 3/4 lb. That takes me down to 13st 6. I am really pleased with this although I know it comes off easier in the first weeks when there is lots to lose. I would love to be 10 stone something long term but my short term goal is one stone loss so 12st 10.
I have found the 0 point soup is a life saver as I have a big appetite so I have some before lunch. This week I made butternut squash and carrot soup with cury powder and off course onions, garlic, fresh ginger and stock. I find the textue of butternut squash quite satisfying. I find it interesting seeing what everyone else eats and will come back later with some things I have tried.

I have to go to dentist this afternoon for the beginning of root canal treatment so I am not very happy at the moment. Sad

:o soo pleased i was weighed today and i have lost 7lbs - i was so shocked. my little man is having a growth spurt so been eating loads and loads so i think that has had a lot to do with it.

Meg well done you - the leader did tell me to expect it to slow down but its nice to have a big number that first week.

Doing monthly pass so i have the internet tracker but will probably still write it all down as i eat so i don't miss anything x

Dia dhuit, a phuisin, conas ata tu? Grin

Went out for dinner this evening with dh and haven't totalled the points yet but don't think it's been a good day!

I will have to be very good tomorrow!

chipmonkey: Tá mé go maith, go raibh maith agat, agus tú féin? Cá bhfuil tú i do chónaí?

I'm not looking forward to the next 2 weeks points wise. I'm going out for dinner for my wedding anniversary on Sunday night and my 30th birthday party is the folowing Saturday.

I'm up the creek, aren't I? Blush

chipmonkey · 13/08/2010 20:49

I gContae na Mhi! Agus tu fein?

I find that if I have one "bad" day a week, I am not too bad but two bad days and I don't necessarily gain weight but I don't lose it either!

Diaduitpuisin · 13/08/2010 21:23

chipmonkey - Tá mé i mo chónaí i gContae Luimní.

Thankfully my weigh in is in between the 2 events so it's not too bad.

chipmonkey · 15/08/2010 22:44

Today was baaaaaaaad! Guests over and made butternut squash soup ( fine!) paella (ok-ish) and chocolate tart ( very, very bad!!!)

Also lots of wine but you know what? We had such a lovely day that I think points are not the end of the world.

Will start again tomorrow as negative points are sooooooooo depressing!

I have just joined a meeting. I am on 20 points but soooo hungry. Didn't manage to stick to it today or yesterday Sad. Can anyone give me some tips?...I am already sticking to "filling foods"

Haven't had any wine after the leader told me it was like "a doughnut in a glass" Sad

MegGriffin · 17/08/2010 13:20

Hello everyone. I have done my second weigh in this morning and have lost another 4lb, so total lost now is 8 3/4lb now 13st 3lb. I am really pleased with this especially as dh and I went out for dinner last Thursday and had deep fried brie (although we did share this) followed by steak with peppercorn and coconut sauce with chips. I also drank about a bottle of wine. I have not been really strict but I think it's because I have lots to loose so it will slow down.

Sorry you have not been well SGM, I hope you are feeling better soon. It's so hard to think about what you are eating when you are not well.
One thing that has helped me not feel too deprived are pink and whites as I have a very sweet tooth.
Also to cheer up salads have found that if I chop up pickled gherkins and pickled onions in my salad, it makes it a bit more tasty. I realise though it's not everyones cup of tea though.

MegGriffin · 17/08/2010 13:24

I'm not going to do myself out of a lb, should have put 13st 2lb.

bluebump · 17/08/2010 13:28

Ooh i'm joining you all if that's ok? I signed up last week and get 20 points a day, although admittedly I did sign up to get the free pack etc that's on offer and I can't actually afford to go back and join just yet!

So far I find breakfasts and lunch easy enough but I really lack imagination for dinners. I do quite like a glass of wine or 3 on the weekend so I am trying to eat filling foods that aren't too many points to save some over!

i have been having my meals from the weight watchers cook books that were half price online. i feed the same meals to all the family and they love it - tyring hard not to snack much and since i'm busy with two lo its quite easy to stay snack free during the day but come night time i'm looking for wine and munchies - any tips for good snacks or better still how to avoid snacking - tonight i'm going to do the ironing to keep my mind of food
