geordieminx · 19/04/2010 19:46

LGT - how do you transport 8 children? (((has mental image of beverly hill billy-esque car with chilcren strapped to roof)))))

cocolepew · 19/04/2010 19:46

Ooohhhh congratulations LG&T!

I am 10 5 - I've lost 6lbs. I thank you.

largeginandtonic · 19/04/2010 19:49

Crikey Coco that is fab!

We have a Toyota Previa. Will need a bigger one now.

duckyfuzz · 19/04/2010 19:50

wow coco that's fab

I so need to get back in the zone

jenduff · 19/04/2010 19:50

Wow LG&T congrats - am sure I will still be here when you've had the baby

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 19/04/2010 19:59

LadyBlaBlah · 19/04/2010 20:04

Congrats LG&T. That is serious parenting

I am in awe

I am also ITZ

I went to a bbq at the weekend and zoned it. I would normally have troughed all the burgers in buns, steaks and sausages in buns, swished down with nuts, crisps and baked potatoes. I had one sausage and salad. Shit loads of wine, but that is necessary as I am sure you all understand.

I reckon if I had not found the zone I would have been 2lbs more than when I started by now. Something age related had happened to my metabolism and this is it now......I must trough no more. I don't want to be a fat 40

My skin is fucking terrible though.

dinkystinky · 19/04/2010 20:26

Wow LG&T - congratulations. 8 kids... wow! I'm a mother on the edge of a nervous breakdown with 2 having braved legoland with most of southern england today (both boys brilliant there during the day, DS1 threw mega strop on leaving, DS2 threw megastrop all the way home - sigh) - god only knows how you retain sanity, never mind a sense of humour, with 8...

Coco - well done on the loss m'dear. Geordie - ditto.

Reshape - maybe your DH's split trousers will clear a path for him through customs.. like Moses and the red sea...

dinkystinky · 19/04/2010 20:29

Oh yes - Jenduff - 10lbs That's like a whole baby you just put on there...

CheeeseOnToast · 19/04/2010 20:31

aahhhh feeling all lovely at LG&T's news. Not that I know you at all, or even really 'know' you having never 'spoken' to you before other than on this thread. I can't wait to have DCs and all my friends are announcing pregnancies, feeling slightly

Semi-zoning today. food:

two WM toasts with seeds, marmalade, cup of tea
lunch was large plate of steamed cauliflower and some curly fries
dinner was M&S mussels in garlic and shallot sauce - unfortunately two portions' worth as DP still not back.
then a boiled corn on the cub with a smidge of butter

Not as much water as I've been drinking so I need to pull my finger out a bit. And start eating a bit better. The chips today were unnecessary, and I also sneaked a bag of Percy Pigs in M&S. I've eaten half the bag tonight

LadyBlahBlah I'm sure the skin will sort itself out soon, just need to stick with it.

dinkystinky · 19/04/2010 20:32

Cheese - step away from the gelatinous porkies. So not what you need. If you're going to set out of the zone, you need to do it for something worthwhile not gelatine and other horrible e-numbers...

MamaG · 19/04/2010 20:36

LG&T you'll do anything to get out of the zone!

congrats
