Them ear drops are the work of the devil. It says to put cotton wool in to stop in dribbling out, so I did. Got deafer and deafer and went to have my ear syringed. The nurse pulled a HUGE piece of tangled up cotton wool from my ear. It was like a magician pulling a row of hankies out.

Then she told me off for doing what it said on the bllody bottle!

cocolepew · 19/04/2010 07:56

cyb · 19/04/2010 07:57

cyb · 19/04/2010 07:58

cocolepew · 19/04/2010 07:59

My shadows look a bit better actually Skin looks even shitter today though.

cyb · 19/04/2010 08:03

I reckon sugar really makes a difference

my skin looks shit too if its any consellation.(how do you spell that?)

have st tropez'ed, blushered, triangled

I look like Aunt Sally but hey ho

cocolepew · 19/04/2010 08:05

I think it helps your shadows if your [ahem] bowels work good. Shadows can be caused by constipation.

fishie · 19/04/2010 08:15

interesting article about weight loss and exercise

i am a running rat. do lots of exercise and never lose weight on it, must starve self to shrink. but i don't put it back on so that looks dead right to me. don't fancy getting rid of chair though.

ClickNegg · 19/04/2010 08:18

no running is bad for weight loss

fishie · 19/04/2010 08:57

does keep it off though. and i try not to biff after my exertions.

pointydog · 19/04/2010 09:03

on my bottle, coke, it says v clearly not to put any cotton wool into the ear after administering drops. You must have bought the cheap quack stuff

have phoned to see doc this evenimg

JackBauer · 19/04/2010 09:23

Please explain triangles to me? Have horrible dark under eyes.

Off shopping in a minute for this week, lots of fruit and veg [snore]

CheeeseOnToast · 19/04/2010 12:19

how bad is rye bread? is it better than normal bread? thinking of getting some today, DP should be returning tomorrow so wanted to get some treats in for him.

After a really good day yesterday I got hungry at about 10pm and did a bad thing - i ate three crackers, with cheddar cheese and red onion chutney. Only three though, but still. Dont know why I did it. I will repent today.

Yes i'm also interested in this triangles thing, I also have dark under-eyes. Not v dark, but dark nonetheless, the skin there is much much thinner than everywhere else and i have to do a lot to even it out, usually use cheapish concealer (no touche eclat or anything, usually no 17 stuff) but there's no technique involved, I just smear it on.

jenduff · 19/04/2010 12:26

So glad to back among your collective loving and supportive bosom - fat bint indeed - can you see me via webcam that I don't know about?

V shocked myself about how much I ate managed to put on but it was a very long school hol and the DC were being pita [emotional eater]

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 19/04/2010 12:45

Cheese - ryebread v good for you better than wholemeal.

Can't access the triangles thing on Cyb's thread in S & B so can't be of help - but am very interested because I have lines and shadows needs in that area.

Welcome back biffer. Still sympathies on holidays - they did seem long. And got longer at the end.

cyb · 19/04/2010 13:07

here is it, triangle away

granted , she has ZERO shadows and bags...but the 'lifted' look cannot be denied

i do not bother with 2 colours, btw

JackBauer · 19/04/2010 13:10

The holidays were killer this year, I thinkg combo of ash and election meaning no-one could go anywhere or do anything. hence why I didn't join thread until nearly the end[smug]

I made crumpets with cheese for DH and DD's for lunch (he is on late shift)
DH didn't want a lot so I threw the rest in the bin as DD's are both sick still.
And I have butternut squash and onions roasting now for soup for me.

Naughty with cheese though, especially as I haven't had any. BUt I did have a hot choc options thing last night

DH used those ear drop things, they were shiteola and turned him deaf, I think he just put olive oil to fix it though, he def didn't go to the doctors.

ZoneArmatrading · 19/04/2010 13:40

Hello all. Interesting article about exercise, thanks. Triangle lady is beautiful and circle less. I am 3D bags. No point in concealer, just sits on top. Count yourself lucky.

Coco sorry about your shit skin. Mine was crap for ages. Think lots to do with constipation if that's what's going on. Was with me. I'll dwell no more.

Cheese and gherkin you sound v low cal apart from blips. Well done.

Dinky so with you on 'pain is what I need'. Did free personal training session at gym this a.m. Circuits of pain with props it was. If I tried to stand on chair to get in treat cupboard, legs would simply buckle.

Brighton was totally gorgeous. 4 chips, no ice cream although shoved whole dressing pot on Pret nicoise.

Bobbie, passed All Saints in B'ton so popped in. Poseidon dress right by door. It is beautiful but insane. Could not work it out for life of me. Think it might be April Fool that was so good it lasted all month. Sorry should put this in S&B but right arm dropping off after CofPain workout.

Yesterday threw self of wagon in pm. Are there still Easter eggs in shops? Necked DD1s button one like foie gras goose when she went for shower. 2 other misdemenours but none that would make my children cry if they knew about them

JackBauer · 19/04/2010 14:11

Will have a go at triangles but doubt my shitty cheaparse concealer will be up to the job...

SO wrt the exercise thing, do you guys do a lot of exercise or not much and still lose?
I run once or twice a week and do cross trainer thing as well just to up my fitness, I ran 3 times a week last year for 4 months and lost....fuck all.

Have aerobics dvd's lying around somewhere if they are any good...

ClickNegg · 19/04/2010 14:12

no idea what you are all talking baout

triangles?

RIGHT tow [ieces of godo news

  1. haevjust had belt made tighter at shoe place
  2. 10 6 on BAD scales!
JackBauer · 19/04/2010 14:19

Belt tightening much more psycologically heartening than weight imo.

Apparently the Clegger was here this morning, shoudl have taken DD's into town. DD1 wants me to vote for him because 'his wife is spanish and so she must like dora'

JackBauer · 19/04/2010 14:21

premature postalation.

triangles is the youtube vid cyb has put on, way of concealing under eye suitacases.

I need to know though. If I make soup from 1 small butternut squash, 1 onion, water and a stock cube, is it bad to eat the lot?
Have only had bowl of alpen this morning and got meatballs in tomato sauce with salad for tea and this soup is blahdy gawjuss.

BudaisintheZONE · 19/04/2010 14:28

Hello - found you all!

Still stuck in Dublin. Now rebooked to fly back to Budapest next monday!

Yesterday was not a zone day. Not at all. Sis and BIL came for lunch and had stuffed pork fillet, 2 roast potatoes and then had some dessert. Then went out for drink with other sisters and had quite a bit of wine with loads of fizzy water and some peanuts. Had turkey sandwich when got home.

Today have had porridge for breakfast and soup for lunch.

Am off out shopping for some tracksuit pants and trainers so I can go walking while here.

Will also buy some maths books for DS to do while off school! He is not happy at that thought.

ClickNegg · 19/04/2010 14:29
