well done on losses, partic jb!
i've just had now-traditional friday night lamb rogan josh with yogurt. dh has placed veg pakora within my reach, had one bit but am now ignoring.

dunno about weight. less than last week, deffo, probably a couple of pounds.

ReshapeWhileDamp · 23/04/2010 22:19

Amazing how fast I bloat up when I'm pregnant. 6 days ago, I was (just about) wearing size 12 jeans. Ha. Byebye size 12s for the next year and a half. or two.

I missed what happened to Su's DH, hope nothing serious.

Someone today at the NCT group I run (yes yes I know) said I looked 'really glam' about three times. By the end, I was wondering what sort of a dog did I look like before?? (I'd actually managed to style my hair properly, new cut and highlights. That must have been it)

I miss this thread.

MamaG · 24/04/2010 06:21

Reshape - I think a new haircut makes a big difference to someone

You could stay ont eh thread in "I won't put on 5 stone while pg" kind of way!

MamaG · 24/04/2010 06:56

please all post here

JackBauer · 24/04/2010 07:54

reshape, no reason you can't stay on the thread, you could boss us around hormonally while being able to eat all teh cake you want (bitch)
On that note I had 2 slices of garlic bread pizza and half a slice of pizza last night along with 3 toffee crisp bite things, and then at half 9 I realised that I had forgotten to cook my tea, and I wasn't even hungry, so I diudn't bother, I just had some cider and went to bed
Can't beieve that not only did I skip a meal i didn't realise I skipped a meal!

Can't comment on what has been said, foggy head due to DD1 having nightmares and I can't make head or tail of MamaGor Su's posts
can't help with style advice mama, am style vacuum afriad, how's your head though?

Very impressed Aitch, restraint is good,we are havign weekly chinese tonight, no idea what to order.

cocolepew · 24/04/2010 07:56

JB you didn't miss your tea because you had pizza and garlic bread and toffee crisp things. This is why you weren't hungry [another stern look]

JackBauer · 24/04/2010 08:21

Well yes, I know, but my brains still thinks that tea is sitting down with a plate of food, not snacking. It's weird for me to be able to just have a little bit of food (and did I mention they are only 62 cals?)

But yes. I am

largeginandtonic · 24/04/2010 08:22

< lurks too >

Reshape!! Congratulations. Fantastic news. What is your due date?

I am still in the size 12 but by the evening have to undo the jeans. Am 6 weeks or thereabouts.

Excellent diet being pregnant. I can eat nowt. Everything looks bleurgh. When i eat i feel worse. I will be 10 stone by the time i am 12 weeks.

I am not calling the baby Sylvester.

Very well done all of you skinny minnies.

Hope dh ios ok Su.

cocolepew · 24/04/2010 08:24

God yes sorry su hope DH recovers well.

cyb · 24/04/2010 09:05

Morning all,

Su how did your dh manage all that kayaking if he needed a knee op? Is he back home soon? I reckon you'll need a 'put me up' in the front room

Ate crisps, had 3 gin and slims (despite the bar man telling me off) and a reet good laff.

Also had BBQ in the garden wow the sun was lovely.

nodders the triangles are a method of applying concealer, not something you need to worry about unless you are purple of shadow like moi and coco

cyb · 24/04/2010 09:10

she really does have a fab figure

cocolepew · 24/04/2010 09:11

That's what I look like, but my boobs are smaller.

[deluded]

ReshapeWhileDamp · 24/04/2010 09:18

LG&T - I am barely pregnant - 5 wks! Hope it sticks, I had two MCs before DS. EDD is 26th Dec. Am not calling the baby either Sylvester or Noel.

Am really trying not to pig it. Bought pack of choc bics for toddler group yday but the mums there are all skinny yummies slender and self-denying and I couldn't shift many of them. They came home again with me, but am taking them to BFC tutorial today and trying to get rid.

JackBauer · 24/04/2010 10:18

Oh cyb, I needed that to inspire, she is gorgeous. Got 4 yr old girl's 'Disco party' this afternoon at the community centre, 1-3. Prime snacking time and I will be trapped with both DD's and DD1's best mate so am going to stuff face with prawn stir fry for lunch in hopes it will fill me up.

Unsure what fresh hell a Disco Party is either.

Been for 2 mile run this morning, I had a bowl of mornflake muesli for breakfast as there wasn't any alpen in the shop, Oh my god, no sugar, just wholegrain oats, dried fruit and nuts, was the nicest muesli I have ever eaten. Might buy some more and make cereal bars for morning snacks. Mmmmm.

JackBauer · 24/04/2010 10:20

Sorry, su, I mean to add that I hope your DH is back home soon. Although I assume that you will not be posting much today and instead wafting around like this

BudaisintheZONE · 24/04/2010 10:31

Morning all.

LOLing at MamaG's pished posting last night. I was sitting in restaurant bar sipping a glass of wine waiting for friend and I logged on on my phone and was about to post when friend arrived. You are a cheap date MamaG!!!!!

Hope DH is on mend today Su.

Jack - you did have dinner - you just snacked it! Well done on run. Am SO unfit.

Went out for dinner last night and it was not great tbh. Had a very ordinary ceasar salad - could make better myself. Or in fact the MacDonalds one is nicer. Then had goat cheese tart with asparagus and salad. Tart overdone and bland. Couldn't taste goat cheese. Was mostly potato. Had nice cheese plate after instead of dessert. Did have lots of wine.

Having hair cut at 12.15! Friend I was with last night always has nice hair so asked for hairdresser details and managed to get appt for later. It's almost shoulder length bob but has no real shape. Don't want to lose length but want more definite style. No idea what though! I like the idea of choppy layers.

cyb · 24/04/2010 12:07

Jb I've tried that Mornflake stuff, I thought it tasted really sweet. We are Dorset Muesli fans here, its real hard core stuff.

yes that pic of Kelly Brook inspires me too...I reckon her figure is do-able , but I'm sadly lacking in the tit dept (in fact mine have shrivelled)

pointydog · 24/04/2010 12:15

you multi-posters, I cannot keep up. Trying to get the gist.

Congrats to those who are pregnant. Babies are lovely, or so I think now I am in my 40s.

Congrats to those who have lost weight.

I have lost another 2lb and am v pleased and am swanning around in a pair of trousers that were far too tight last summer.

dinkystinky · 24/04/2010 13:07

Reshape and LG&T - why dont you stay on the thread (just cos you're pregnant doesnt mean you cant yell YOU FAT BIFFER STEP AWAY FROM THE BICCY TIN at us when we need it and Su is otherwise occupied) and keep us posted on your growing bumps. I found with DS2 that my tummy popped out alot quicker - but because had just been on concerted diet and exercise kick (and continued the healthy eating and exercise, though dialed down a notch, for most of rest of pregnancy) the rest of me stayed pretty toned.

Cyb/Su - what do you reckon La Brook will look like post kids? I have to admit, Cindy Crawford is now my ideal person to look like - curvy, toned with a hint of cellulite and stretchmarks to boot...

JB - good luck with disco and buffet hell this afternoon.

Pointy - hurrah on weightloss. Great stuff. I will be wearing new slinky tankini to the kiddie's swimming classes this afternoon - bought it ages ago but was waiting till belly was less pronounced before use it...

Buda - sorry dinner was disappointing. Am hoping haircut isnt!

Su - hope your dh is recovering well and home soon.

dinkystinky · 24/04/2010 13:11

Oh yes - went to Westfield to go get last of food for DS1's birthday party tomorrow and his presents (v disorganised parent ) and did I get a yummy latte and pastry as I would normally? Nope. Did I get nice nibbly bits and ready meal from M&S for DH and I for tonight? Nope - bought prawns for me and lamb kebabs for DH and the boys to scoff instead with salad stuff. Am the zoneranger today...

jenduff · 24/04/2010 14:18

Glad I logged on as was contemplating a weekend off the diet but that Kelly Brook pic has inspired me although I reckon she must have had a boob job.

SuSylvester · 24/04/2010 14:19

hi dh hoem and ok
kids all out
need to wipe mould of window frames
had BREAD 9 only) for lunch
come to BJ thread

cocolepew · 24/04/2010 14:50

Glad he's home, and glad I'm not the only person with mouldy window frames. I'm surprised DD1 had got consumption from hers.

Went to BK at lunch and panicked because I always have diet Coke, had water and half a burger. I seemed to have forgotten how to swallow (sorry DH).

SuSylvester · 24/04/2010 14:51

ours look ok
then you see where they are shut in winter they have errghkkk in corner

cocolepew · 24/04/2010 14:55

hasn't got . It's only hers for some reason.

Went shopping and got nothing had to fork out 30 quid so DD1 could get Sketchers Twinkle Toes They're too big so I'm hoping she'll get 5 years out of them.
