Thanks Buda that sounds good, we've been on The Duck Tours in London and NYC and the DDs loved it.

SuSylvester · 23/04/2010 16:16

dinkystinky · 23/04/2010 16:18

Aah, Coco - I'm frequently described as scary and unapproachable at work (prob cos too busy MNing ). Doubt will be described as exemplary or inspirational ever...

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 23/04/2010 16:37

I often get called "bitch" at work by the defendants. It's a proud moment let me tell you.

BudaisintheZONE · 23/04/2010 16:37

Well done to those exemplary and inspirational ones! I think inspirational teachers are fantastic and are the ones that are remembered by their pupils.

Decided to go into town to the M&S sale today but DS banned me! Told me I have bought enough stuff. Bloody accountant's son! This is the boy who at 2 and a half said loudly from his pushchair in Wallis one day 'Mummy you don't need shoes, you already have some'.

Supposed to be going out tonight. Not sure yet if just for drinks or if for a meal.

Su - what op was your DH having? Hope you don't have to spend all weekend being Florence Nightingale.

JackBauer · 23/04/2010 16:37

Well done all you losers! Round of applause for all!

Su, good day all round for you then? How long will dh be in or is it a day op? I missed what it was for, scuse nosiness+ feel free to tell me to beak out....
Tell us the eddieinspired cat skit then?

Am considering going back to uni to do pgce next year so am making notes

dinkystinky · 23/04/2010 16:38

Porridge - one of my barrister mates once had a defendant try to disassemble part of the dock and throw it at her

dinkystinky · 23/04/2010 16:39

Sorry su - missed that your dh had an op. Hope he's ok.

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 23/04/2010 16:46

I WANT to be exemplary and inspirational. I want to be given old bits of crap on the last day of term. I WANT a red pen for ticking. Is this a covert PGCE thread? Are Su, Cyb, Coco et all undercover as recruiters?

Your poor mate Dinky - do hope def didn't have a screwdriver handy.

SuSylvester · 23/04/2010 16:51

The lovely girl on the Chanel counter offered me a free manicure too but I had to pick the children up from school.

Bloody kids ruining my fun

SuSylvester · 23/04/2010 17:28

cyb · 23/04/2010 17:31

Well, as I only operate at the CUTTING EDGE of the cosmetics industry, I can only assume it is.

good old Cyb, trend setting again...

cocolepew · 23/04/2010 17:50

Oh oh guess what my mate said today as I refused a chocolate cupcake? "You are really in the zone". She can't even switch a pooter on so she's not lurking around here.

I won't need luminating foundation.

I shall be glowing from within.

cocolepew · 23/04/2010 17:51

And I have tooth ache.

It's this fucking threads fault.

noddyholder · 23/04/2010 17:58

i don't think I have EVER refused a cake! I have vitalumiere and like for a week and now looks like oil slick and highlights lines terribly. What can i get instead refuse to speak to orange dept store women!

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 23/04/2010 18:08

Vitalumiere doesn't do much for me either - I use benefit some kind of gorgeous.

noddyholder · 23/04/2010 18:09

Thanks might try that I want light glowy cover but not greasy looking.
