i can't post on this thread at work but cannot bear to ask IT bod for help, too shaming.

am missing pilates, starts again next week. no heavier, no lighter.

that ltd collection stripy dress is very nice. i've just got this top not shoes, but has sold out online so no other pic. is lovely, hangs beautifully.

cyb · 23/04/2010 08:01

not weighing but well done to all the losers.

I am wearing my new cropped joggers today to work and may I say how SLIM I friggin look in them cos no other bugger will

I have ordered that stripe dress and I loved those office shoes did you order them Su?

For those of you up all night worrying about my hair, no need, it has calmed down over night and now looks FAB

have a good day people

ZoneArmatrading · 23/04/2010 08:05

2lbs off this week!

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 23/04/2010 08:12

Well done losers and maintainers. Coco - get those scales fixed! Well done JB.

Still at 8 12 here but not optimal conditions - AF and no you know what IYKWIM, I can't say it; Aitch will rip my limbs off.

Loved that stripy m&s dress cyb and those shoes nodders. Nice top fishie. And those black sandals. I saw a silk jumpsuit (long sleeved and drapey) in Grazia this week from m&s but can't find it online. I'll link for opinions when I track it down.

Have thick hair too but have to have it thinned otherwise I just looks mad. I feel your pain channelling Miss Hoolie Cyb. I think hairdressers have a language all of their own so when I ask for "short choppy layers" it means flicky outy helmet. Perhaps nodders, being practically Vidal Sassoon, can confirm or deny?

ZoneArmatrading · 23/04/2010 08:16

JackBauer well done. What a brilliant start

mummymels · 23/04/2010 08:17

Fishie ? Is pilates good? I wouldn?t mind doing something like that.
Cyb ? I am intrigued as to which dress you are referring to.
ZoneArmatrading ? well done on your loss.
Isthatporridgeinyourzone ? I agree re hairdressers speak

YoginiBikini · 23/04/2010 08:18

Hurray 2lbs down

BUT my trousers are tight this morning?????

Love the no bread=suffering lesson

Good hair cyb. Has it settled this morning to create a less dangerous scenario when turning head quickly?

EricPicklesFatNeck · 23/04/2010 08:20

well done zone and jb!

fishie pilates is v. good i am pleasingly achy this morning!

11 4 this morning. 11 4 is my nemisis. i dieted thsi time last year adn couldn't get beyond its evil clutches

fishie · 23/04/2010 08:48

pilates is HARD WORK lots of putting your leg where it shouldn't go. but it is amazing at sorting posture and making you aware of where muscles aren't.

fishie · 23/04/2010 08:54

and i have ordered that m&s dress too. FREEDL51 for free postage.

geordieminx · 23/04/2010 08:56

mornng loosers

have lost 2 or 3lb this week... cant remember what I was last fri.

Will catch up later, as nmega stress today - drop ds off ayt playschool, dentist to have crown sorted and the off to new nursery for ds to have a look round... arghhhhhhh

BudaisintheZONE · 23/04/2010 09:12

Morning all. Still no scales here so not weighing.

coco - how old are your DDs? We did the Viking Splash Tour last week and both DS and I loved it. DS wants to do it again. Children need to be over 3 though. The driver we had was hilarious. He 'trains' you how to be a viking and do a viking roar. You roar at Celts which is anyone not on the bus. We drove down Dawson street and roared at loads of unsuspecting people sitting having coffee or 'cappuchino celts' as the driver called them. Very funny! You can book it on line. I looked up Dublin Tourist Board and found it. There is a section there on Dublin for kids which has lots of suggestions.

Jack = Half a stone!!!! Well done you. I was 16 st 10 when I started. My first goal is to get under 16 stone.

Can't post from my phone here as it is really expensive but can and will when I get back to Budapest next week. I spend much more time on computer then too.

Cyb - glad hair is better this morning. Desperate to get something done to mine but have no clue what so will leave it a bit to get some more length into it I think.

dinkystinky · 23/04/2010 10:16

Morning all - congrats to all the losers esp JB - that is Ossom going! Zone - does your loss mean you've hit the stone mark? If so, woop woop. Lol at Cyb's hair escapades.

Scales this morning show I've lost 1.5lbs this week - finally some downward movement on the scales (and this is post post dance show meal with chips and wine and everything). Hurrah. Eric - I feel your pain on the plateau nemesis - hang on in there, you will be victorious.

CheeeseOnToast · 23/04/2010 11:01

Happy Friday thread friends!

Weighed this morning, and slightly disappointed as I've put a tiny bit on.

Last week I was 8 stone 13.8 I think, and this morning I am 9 stone 0.8, so thats, what, a pound on in a week. Boo. But I haven't been as good, I'll admit. Plus there was lots of stress-related biffing last week. However, I've been rather 'bunged up' these last few days (like Porridge, I dare not utter the actual words) so I'm hoping I haven't really put on a pound.

I'm not working next week so will be able to make myself delicious salads for lunch and cook healthy dinners so i'm fairly confident I'll have a loss next week.

On the plus side, I'm feeling much better, clothes definitley looser (I can now pull two of my skirts down without undoing buttons ) and feel like I have more energy etc etc.

I have decided to hunt down a local pilates class next week, can do during the day as I'm not working. Have I mentioned I'm not working next week!?

Cyb - glad to hear the hair has calmed down. I also hate the way hairdressers blow dry my hair (not my current one though, she's fab) - my old one used to do it all volume-y and flicky and I felt like an old lady after, but then the next day it always looked amazing! (after I'd 'done it' my way)

Well done those who have posted weight losses today.

jenduff · 23/04/2010 12:16

Yay have managed some damage limitation on my Easter 10lb gain by loosing 4lb so pleased with self and much zone-ness. Well done Jack - thats a fantastic loss.
