i think i got those 9.99ers. they must be far too big for you, i got a 12 too and that wasn't too snug even though i was sml 14 and am less now. haven't tried them on again since though, summer shoes are underneath a pile of furniture so can't check. they may become house trousers if not nice rolled up with heels.

cinema with ds, took food with us so no popcorn etc. veg sushi, two slices of turkey and some fruit. litre of earl grey. now another little run.

later delia roast chicken grape thing with no fat fromage frais as that is what i have.

AnzoneioBanderas · 03/04/2010 15:20

i htought too wide to roll up

dinkystinky · 03/04/2010 16:05

Gap trousers always go baggy and end up making you look like a sack of potatoes regardless of your figure. Prefer oasis or warehouse trousers as at least they keep their shape.

BO - are you doing any weights/other exercises than running? Running good for all over weight loss but suspect you may need to combine it with weights sessions to tone your core and back up and you'll see a change in the barrel pretty quickly.

BariatricObama · 03/04/2010 16:45

no, i keep meaning to do pilates but haven't really had time. after easter hols i will start!

MintyMarchmont · 03/04/2010 16:47

Hey!

I'm sending this report in via satellite from my mothers in Hampshire-they have computers here and everything!

Have succumbed ONLY to a mini marks and spencer choc crispy cake with one mini egg on top. It was 50 cals and tasted like shit. What a waste of 50 calories.

But no appple pie,
no Easter cake,
no jam tarts,
no french bread,
and a partridge in a pear tree

Hoope y'all having as much fun as me

I have sinned.

I have eaten a hcb and a small easter nest with three mini eggs in.

Flagellate me please.

BariatricObama · 03/04/2010 17:05

was at friends and ate a muffin. only ate it so i didn't appear rude. it was v. nice. and is now joining the mother muffin round the top of my trews!

dinkystinky · 03/04/2010 17:19

Pilates is fab for minimising the muffin-meister. Also v good for stretching out very tight hamstrings from running. But bloody painful - you have been warned BO.

Am well out of the zone today - joining Bobbie in the sin bin.

BariatricObama · 03/04/2010 17:27

pilates pain is good! i have some of those balls for sticking under hamstrings and rolling about on.

BariatricObama · 03/04/2010 17:28

i am making tarte au citron for tomorrow. dh cooking lamb i will have to staple my mouth shut

MamaGlee · 03/04/2010 17:36

I've had a hcb
and a bite of profiterole
and a packet of mini cheddars
and some olives

BudaisintheZONE · 03/04/2010 18:01

I had home made spiced carrot, lentil and cauliflower soup for lunch with some left over roast chicken. Snack mid afternoon was an apple. Then was nibbley an hour later so had some flaxseed tortilla chips with hummus. Had a few grapes then. Few glasses of water and cups of tea.

An added bonus of how I am currently eating is that I have SO much more energy! No carb fest slumps. Did 5 loads of washing and got them all dried outside. Been doing lots of bits and pieces when I would normally have been plonked on the sofa.

We are off to Croatia tomorrow though. It will be a lot harder then to keep to plan. I am planning on allowing myself one breakfast of whatever I want, one lunch, one dinner and one dessert over the 4 days. Not sure whether to do all in one day or spread it all out. I am leaning towards spreading it all out and feeling like I am having a treat every day and also not giving my system a shock of carbs in one day.

MotherOfBarabas · 03/04/2010 18:53

boiled egg
celery sticks and tuna mayo
some nuts (actually rather too many, has anyone tasted them, roasted nuts from marks, i think they're new, god they're LUSH)

and that's it for today. i'm still not back to my pre-birthday weight.

now, what can i have for dinner, am starving and don't want to hit the nuts again.

oh, and dd1 had a FORTY FIVE MINUTE tantrum today. in park, in car, moving and parked. so i have also consumed two ibuprofen and reneged on all parenting duties from now on.

MotherOfBarabas · 03/04/2010 18:54

Must change name back, the easter thread was a laugh until mary kinda went into too much detail about the actual crucifixion.

Hello

I went to a children's party too and didn't eat anything I shouldn't have. The key thing for me in not to have a drink. One glass and I eat anything in sight.

i am Going To Have A Curry.

bobbiewickham · 03/04/2010 21:14

Well, I've crashed out of the zone and I'm in freefall

Tea at pub. Ordered seabass and veg. Came - cauli cheese and lyonnaise potatoes. Ate 'em. Yum.

Washed it down with two halves of cider.

Then proceeded to do vulture impersonation with big bowl of chips in middle of table, figured I didn't order them, so it didn't count. See also dh's onion rings.

Then ate two - TWO - easter nests when I got home.

And now am a bit hungry.

NEED TO FIND MY WAY BACK TO THE ZONE. NEED FECKING ZONE NAV TO FIND IT.

MotherOfBarabas · 03/04/2010 21:33

lololol at veg being cauli cheese. that's god's way of getting you out of the zone, that is.

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 03/04/2010 21:36

Since we're all in confession mode; I ate 5 maltesers, 3 minstrels and the EARS of a caramel rabbit INADVERTANTLY.
