noddyholder · 02/04/2010 15:27

Ok no rice no bread no bhajis! Prawn tikka with salad looks ok but have to have wine(one glass) and a tiny bit of raita!

BariatricObama · 02/04/2010 15:30

its tough being in teh zone with a hangover.

BariatricObama · 02/04/2010 15:32

noddy you will look like a diet freak, its an indian restaurant ffs. just nibble on salad in a bag and smile weakly

noddyholder · 02/04/2010 15:51

I will be a a table laden with 'stuff' and am sure I can be inconspicuous!I am going to eat I love indian food can't totally deprive myself

BudaisintheZONE · 02/04/2010 18:49

Well slight change of plans for dinner chez Buda.

On way home from picking DS up from school I bought a steam cleaner for the floors. At 6pm I decided I couldn't stand looking at the floors any longer (was planning on doing them tomorrow) and vacuumed and steamed the floors. Knew I would not have interest or energy to cook as well so ordered in a curry. I am having fish tikka and mixed veg grill.

Am currently hiding in the study in case DH asks me to help him bag up the whole lamb he brought home from the office.

AnzoneioBanderas · 02/04/2010 18:54

dinkystinky · 02/04/2010 19:09

Lol at all those freefalling out of the zone. Those who are still in the zone - you stay strong!

Indian food - anything grilled is good (shashliks or tandoori), anything like a bhuna/josh is bad, anything like a dansak is good. Avoid anything with paneer or bhajee like (sat fat central). Chapatis are ok - avoid naans (sat fat central). If you need to have some rice go for plain basmati and only a small portion. And the odd poppadom is ok if you avoid all the chutneys etc you can chuck on it. Here endeth the curry lecture. Enjoy all you curry-ites.

AuldAlliance · 02/04/2010 19:10

school here too. gf doesn't count.

AnzoneioBanderas · 02/04/2010 19:19

STOP IT
we are an achieveing thread
we have a target and SOME of us are doing it

dinkystinky · 02/04/2010 19:52

Guys who are eating out and are on WW - take a look at that ladyluck site I mentioned earlier. She's put the points of loads of meals out on there and is a real eye-opener. To stay in the zone you need, as cyb would say, constant vigilance.

Buda - bet all that floor cleaning burned off lots of calories.

MIL has just told me I've lost a lot of weight. Preen. Will probably bloody well put it all back on this weekend though as she's on a mission to feed DH up.

AnzoneioBanderas · 02/04/2010 19:57

i have been trying on "clothes that shrunnk in the tumble dryer"

funny how they have changed back

HumphreyCobbler · 02/04/2010 19:59

My lovely mother made me grilled fish and fruit salad for my lunch. Lol that everyone else had to eat it too.

I ate NO chocolate.

Buda - Steam cleaning v theraputic

Undertone · 02/04/2010 20:00

OH MY GOD NIGHTMARE!!!

The laptop I use at home is one that was filched from exP's office (he was an IT bod and it was brought in by a customer - too broken to fix satisfactorily, so it just hung around the office until he brought it home because it had a better DVD drive than my old clapped-out mid-90s uni laptop). It doesn't have Microsoft Office! So no PowerPoint! So no pie charts!! Oh my god - I'm so sorry, guys. I had no idea - I don't even have Word or anything!

Wait a sec... I'm off to parents' for Easter Sunday. They have a PC which should have Office on it. Pie chartage could be an activity to take me away from the Easter eat-a-thon it sounds like my mum is planning.

AnzoneioBanderas · 02/04/2010 20:00

you are sweet undy!

AnzoneioBanderas · 02/04/2010 20:01

she is aware.
will walk home ( a couple of miles) with dsses
is cool

BudaisintheZONE · 02/04/2010 20:12

Anzonio - yep - school on GF. Holidays started today for 2 weeks.

The steam cleaning was ok - need to domore slowly tho I think.
Have curried. Twas ok. Had one poppodom on it's own. A piece of chicken kebab and two bits of fish. The grilled veg were disappointing. Had a spoonful of sauce off DH's lamb masala dish. No rice or chutney and just had a couple of dollops of low fatnatural yoghurt. Feel like I did ok.

On second white wine soda of the night.

Undertone - don't worry! DS is doing pie charts in ict at school - I'll ask him to do show me and I will try to do.

dinkystinky · 02/04/2010 20:16

Undertone - its ok. It'd probably be more impressive if you did the piechart statto thing every couple of weeks anyway so hopefully greater losses would show.

Su - I have my WEDDING DRESS still in my wardrobe in the dim hope that one day I'll fit back into it. Will need to get back to wedding weight of 9 10 to do that though

dinkystinky · 02/04/2010 20:18

Ah Humph - your mum is lovely doing that for you.

BTW, weighed myself the other day before and after bfing DS2. According to my scales I'd put on half a pound - htf is that possible?

HumphreyCobbler · 02/04/2010 20:27

that is strange

Did you put your shoes on and then forget about them?

I am going to put new batteries in mine, am slightly worried about what might happen
