Dd2 is 8 and has been on a no/low sugar and yeast diet for 8 weeks. She kept getting wierd fungal rashes and always felt itchy. After 6 weeks you can start re-introducinng things.

I knew you'd all be happy for me I did snack a lot at work, so I have cut down, believe it or not

I'm off to make my fortune writing a diet book "Coco- The Anti Zone Diet".

First things first, belated Happy Birthday to Aitch! Very envious of your birthday grub but not so envious of the stomach cramps - ouch!

Well I ducked out of my WW weigh-in today because I felt too cold (pathetic emoticon)and did some vigorous house-work instead (Although had I logged on earlier and seen it was your birthday Aitch I could have been persuaded to share a celebratory cake coffee with you!)

Reckon I've lost at least a pound this week but will see tomorrow.

Just wondering how much damage I can do to myself over Easter. It'll be the roast dinners that do it for me rather than chocolate.

Really, really want some sushi now.

Oh and thanks for reporting back on the chickpea thing Buda - sounds like you embellished the recipe a bit - will have a go this evening I think.

(Oh and I've namechanged in honour of my new favourite dressing)

LorraineSattell · 01/04/2010 12:53

we went to the blind pig, glas, really nice. and i notice that if you book through 5pm it's an AMAZING 16 quid for three courses. although i defy anyone to actually eat three courses as the mains are enorme. and it won't allow kids in, which is always a bonus.

BariatricObama · 01/04/2010 13:16

happy birthday aitch!

LorraineSattell · 01/04/2010 13:48

merci bien, bo.

isthatporridgeinyourhair · 01/04/2010 14:00

Happy Birthday Aitch! Twas my sister's birthday yesterday too. Hope you had a nice day - any nice pressies?

LorraineSattell · 01/04/2010 14:10

oh yes, thanks. actually my pal got me a really nice thing from the white company (for which read 'stuff you'd never buy for yourself but would for a friend'. it's a big glass bottle of scent with these weird reeds poking out, supposedly to distribute the aroma. orangey, lemony, verbena-y... really nice.

cyb · 01/04/2010 14:13

now, do they work those things? Or are they just glorified dust traps?

Happy Birthday btw!

MamaGlee · 01/04/2010 14:15

it was dreadful
one and a half hours spent upside down, mouth open as wide as possible (with a burnt lip), head tipped back.
rubber thing over whole mouth wiht just a "nose hole" to breathe

was like a bad porn film

Haev spent 3 hours in bed recovering

AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN DO THE ROOT CANAL

did some shitey reconstruction thing

I had a biscuit, a packet of hula hoops and a creme egg for lunch

I have to go back for a few moire appointments for the root canal - a FEW MORE fgs

LorraineSattell · 01/04/2010 14:15

they work AND are glorified dust traps. multi-functional.

LorraineSattell · 01/04/2010 14:16

Am eating out tonight at a place that does the best chips in the world, a lovely Merlot and apple pie that is TO DIE FOR.

Help!

Have eaten bran flakes, veg soup and veggie sushi today.

Am I allowed a teeny step out of the zone?

Or not?

bobbiewickham · 01/04/2010 14:36

I was thinking that.

Am all about savoury at mo.

Not that arsed about pud, but chips and merlot are preying on my mind.

I probably wouldn't eat all the chips...
