AuldAlliance
Pretend you are in Paris with all those chic French women, they are looking down their noses at your. 'Oui, oui', they mutter, 'Le Anglais'.

MmeLindt · 24/03/2010 21:03

Anglaise?

My French is not what it should be.

glasjam · 24/03/2010 21:03

LeSinge - will let you know about Friday morning, could be a goer and want to see your fabulous new hair cut!

fishie · 24/03/2010 21:03

thehillsarealive · 24/03/2010 21:04

LeSingeEstDansLarbre - lmao at nippy pants.

I definitely dont want a lolly pop head and will probably not go down the LL route, I am eating less, moving more and trying hard not to eat shit, have not weighed myself though, should probably do that of a morning.

SuSylvester · 24/03/2010 21:04

duckyfuzz · 24/03/2010 21:07

god I considered LL, did some research, foudn out the cost, realised I coudl cut my carbs without paying £50 a week for hte privilege and as a result have kept the weight off, with new healthy (ish) mindset too

thehillsarealive · 24/03/2010 21:07

thanks glasjam, I know what to do but it is so much harder this time, thing is, i want it gone now, right now and sooner if possible.

LeSingeEstDansLarbre · 24/03/2010 21:07

good for you. but you can't pop in, lightweight. you've got to commit. c'mon. it's all the rage.

largeginandtonic · 24/03/2010 21:07

Yes you must weigh Hill. We can reprt on Friday then.

Nippy pants so funny.

I just ate some dried apricots.

LeSingeEstDansLarbre · 24/03/2010 21:09

oh and i am doing a bit of low carb, which is to say veg, meat, fish, cheese but no to potatoes, bread and pasta (for the moment, i will deffo return to bread and pasta but brown) and i've lost half a stone in a week. plus, no hunger pangs (although breath like shit). perhaps it's something to consider?

LeSingeEstDansLarbre · 24/03/2010 21:11

and anyway have you all looked at my link? ll lady is a heifer. (apols to heifer)

MmeLindt · 24/03/2010 21:11

Someone tell me to stop drinking red wine so I can ignore you.

largeginandtonic · 24/03/2010 21:11

Is anyone drinking a pint of water before eating? Supposed to fll you up a bit. Help digestion atc..

I amtrying it and i think it works.

BariatricObama · 24/03/2010 21:12

that lighter life article is horrific. but how stupid was the woman who nearly lost her eyesight and then went back on it.

also fecking daily mail loves to hate porkers they have just hidden this in a thin a veil of self righteousness

MmeLindt · 24/03/2010 21:12

Pint a water? Pint of wine is more like it.

largeginandtonic · 24/03/2010 21:13

Put the wine down Mm and drink water. It is delicious

I saw the harlequin woman

BariatricObama · 24/03/2010 21:13

mmelindt - stop drinking red wine. the wine isn't the issue it is the compulsion to eat crisps and pizza that goes with it

thehillsarealive · 24/03/2010 21:13

ok I am in, will commit (probably murder) but i am in.

£66 per week for 500cals per day of shakes/soups ok, will do it do it do it.

Heading out with the dog tomorrow morning after school run over the local hills - think it is about 4 miles, will put on a pedometer and work out in steps how far i have gone.

ok, motivated, do i need to do a food diary too?

LeSingeEstDansLarbre · 24/03/2010 21:14

i didn't read the copy, just GOGGLED at the photos.

largeginandtonic · 24/03/2010 21:14

oldenglishspangles · 24/03/2010 21:15

can i join your weigh in for friday evebn though i start my diet in the morning

AuldAlliance · 24/03/2010 21:15

Phew, thanks.

Have rushed about doing more laundry jobs and taking nappy bag out to dustbin. Now making mint tea to stave off hunger.
Then will go to bed where there is nothing to eat.

("L'Anglaise", Mme L.
That worked a treat. I saw Bonsoir and loads of skinny French ladies sneering at me, and I veered away from the cupboard pronto.)

LeSingeEstDansLarbre · 24/03/2010 21:15

please don't do ll, it is dangerous. plus the two people i know who did it really look a bit weird now, just deflated rather than fit, iykwim?
