please miss can i join in? I need to lose a lot of weight... I had lost almost 4 stone 2 years ago and sadly it has crept back on. Was doing fantastically well until my father had a terrible stroke and I had to fly up and down to Scotland every weekend and it was just hell, excuses probably...

NOW I want to do something about it. Am seriously considering LL - I know it is drastic but it gets results quickly.

wail i haven't lost any weight. my tum looks bigger but i am hoping that is because the rest of me is smaller.

what do we think about muscle being heavier than fat? i think it might be bollocks.

i certainly think that eating less gets weight off better than exercising.

i went for a walk with dh instead of going for a run by myself. morally exceptional but dietially rubbish.

the muscle thing is a diversion. yes it weighs more but unless you are on steroids i don't think it is significant. i do lose a little when i stop running but a few lbs tops
