Love the shake.

MamaGoblin · 26/03/2010 08:21

Mme, the leader at WW said 2 lb a week is reasonably realistic in the earlier part of a diet ahem healthy eating regime. So I reckon yes, completely doable!

largeginandtonic · 26/03/2010 08:31

Doable Mme i think. Slow and steady. Very good way to lose it.

Everyone is doing so well! This thread is ACE.

Su i read through earlier and LOL at you Mother! Most men buy a sports car when they hit mid life crisis don't they?

Am a bit excited about dh coming home. I am all inane grim and sucking in stomach. He had better notice...

HumphreyCobbler · 26/03/2010 08:31

New-scale-itus

I will not be put off.

duckyfuzz · 26/03/2010 08:43

loving the cure to wake and shake

no loss this week, but as I had anticipated a gain due to PMT and bloaatedness I am quite pleased with that my target is same as su's, I think that is bmi of 22 for 5'7 but I am further away from it at 11st today

mmelindt you are starting from about where I was last June I am 70kg now, it can be done (and that's with about 2 months off over Dec/Jan plus gaining nearly half a stone in Cornwall in Aug )

duckyfuzz · 26/03/2010 08:45

ladybla new scales take a while to get used to I have issues with the wii which weighs me 5lbs heavier than my bathroom scales

no need to tell you which ones I believe!

MmeLindt · 26/03/2010 08:46
fishie · 26/03/2010 08:56

start weight 69k. today's weight... 68.6k. hmm.

not sure what to do about this because there really isn't much left to cut and and surely i will just put it all back on again.

and i only had a few peanuts and a kiwi fruit for dinner last night.

off for a run in a sec.

geordieminx · 26/03/2010 09:00

Morning ladies.

Bad night here,.... d+v bug so been camped in bathroom since 1am. Not pretty.

On the plus side

Start weight - 10.10
Today - 10.5
Weight loss(since Monday!!) - 5lbs

Would be pleased if I didnt feel like shit. Have root canal treatment booked for 10.30, then the 7th circle of hell that is Tesco after that... possibly...probably not.

Have had berrocca type thing this morning, seeing if that ia gonna stay down before I get out of bed. (((((wonders if she can go to dentist in dressing gown))))

Well done to everyone else - cant wait to see how much we have lost!

duckyfuzz · 26/03/2010 09:15

geordie that's grim, hope you feel better soon

fishie I am really struggling to shift weight now, have cut so much out I can't contemplate eating any less, so am going to exercise more, hope it works

mmelindt my initial weight loss was v quick, the first stone went in about 6 weeks then I had the summer hols off then another stone lost quickly in the autumn the last bit is proving far harder

MmeLindt · 26/03/2010 09:20

Yes. I can see that happening too, that the first 7 or 8kg go reasonably fast. Tbh, even that would be great because I would fit into the clothes that I bought last summer.

I have marked my aims on my calender, every week until June, with little notes that say things like.

"favourite blue cropped trouser will fit now"

"try on your Gant jeans, they will look great"

"get your bikini out!"

duckyfuzz · 26/03/2010 09:24

these things help - we are taknig DTs to London for a few days after Easter, I have DH primed to spend a few hours in Hamleys whilst I shop unimpeded, this alone is keeping me on track!

Undertone · 26/03/2010 09:25

Right, all - I have been feverishly doing pie charts at my desk and ignoring work emails!

Here's who I have so far - apologies in advance for typos and errors. If I've done you wrong, then the following link: www.yousendit.com/download/THE3UWVrNkdTSUEwTVE9PQ will enable you to download the PowerPoint chart itself with the pie charts in so you can edit it.

Ok.

Hope all the links work! Won't be able to do another batch if more come through unti llater today.

For the purposes of the big weigh-in - I've still only lost 6.6lbs.

Undertone · 26/03/2010 09:27

How I need to go offline for quite some time or else my boss will find me on here and kill me!

CheeeseOnToast · 26/03/2010 09:28

Wowzers.

Ok, weigh-in.

Initial weight (last weds): 60kg. (9 stone 6)
today's weight: 9 stone!!!!

Using different scales from original weigh-in so not sure how accurate this is. BUT it looks like 6lbs in 8 days!!! Which I'm really really pleased with!

Well done to everyone else reporting losses today.

We can do it! Go team fat!!

MmeLindt · 26/03/2010 09:28

UNDERTONE
You rock! Fabulous, that really is great. Funny, seeing that I have already lost 11% makes it seem doable.

LeSingeEstDansLarbre · 26/03/2010 09:50

so... three quarters of a lb back on today. hmm. [cross] i think i need to look at portion size. which is fine, actually, as have been stuffing self.

anyhow i reckon i've lost ten pounds or so from heaviest weight. seven ish from start of last week.

isthatporridgeinyourhair · 26/03/2010 10:00

Undertone - I bow to your pie chart prowess. Those are so cool.

dinkystinky · 26/03/2010 10:02

Hi Undertone - start weight 71.5kilos, current weight 66.4 kilos, target weight 63 kilos (was 64 but have re-designated).

Have done a boxing class first thing this morning - Su would have been proud of me punching those pads as if they were evil tempting chocolatey delights...

BariatricObama · 26/03/2010 10:15

undertone thank you so much that is great!

please don't get sacked for us though

dinkystinky · 26/03/2010 10:15

Oh yes, for the purpose of the big weigh in today my scales tell me I have lost this week a grand total of 1/2 a lb. Sigh.

dinkystinky · 26/03/2010 10:16

Undertone - you are a pie chart goddess!

BariatricObama · 26/03/2010 10:23

went for a run in the rain and wind!

dinkystinky · 26/03/2010 11:15
