LG&T, you are scaring me.
norovirus?
2 weeks?
A MONTH??

He was shaping up to walk for his 1st birthday. At this rate, he'll not even be standing up any longer by then.

Lesinge, that Scottish tradition missed my street, clearly. (Actually, don't tell anyone, but my mum is English. Even she denies it, though. She did the cooking, that'll be why egg in a cup was never on the menu.) Shame, it sounds lovely. Must try it. Without the bread, obv, I have become very fanatical about bread since frequenting you lot.

Cake is baking. Nigella's evil chocolate loaf. I licked the spoon.

NomDePlume · 25/03/2010 21:03

Right, I have to go and bond with the bloke downstairs.

See yo all tomorrow when no doubt you'll have written another 300 posts I can;t keep up with [wink'

NomDePlume · 25/03/2010 21:04

[kicks auldalliance on the way out for the spoon licking]

AuldAlliance
Missed your post about D&V baby. How long has he had it?

AuldAlliance · 25/03/2010 21:10

MmeLindt, it started on Sunday night.

He seemed to be a bit better this morning, but v tired. Eaten v little over the last few days. Is lighter than before when I pick him up.

CM called at 1pm to say he'd been starving hungry, had eaten a big meal, and thrown it all up. Haven't managed to see doctor. Will picket surgery tomorrow. I think it's "le gastro", one of the other babies at the CM's has had it, and the parents of the 3rd baby had it last weekend.

gherkinwithapurplemerkin · 25/03/2010 21:11

I'm off to bed. Getting peckish. Just had a raw carrot (halo) dipped in teeny amount of mint raita. But if I stay up much longer will eat biscuits and shite.

Hoping for a successful weighin for us all(esp me) tomorrow!

MamaGoblin · 25/03/2010 21:15

Still cooking supper. DS went down later than normal.

Chicken legs on roasted veg with white wine, honey and lemon juice drizzled over. All on one tray.

dinkystinky · 25/03/2010 21:16

Auld - DS1 had horrid gastric bug which lasted a week or so (DS2 had it too but only vomming for 2 days but exploding at the other end for well over a week, thank god he's a baby still in nappies is all I can say) - after that he wasnt much up for eating much for a week afterwards (but drank lots of diluted juice). May be that your DS overdid it by eating too much at CM than his system was ready for? Poor little man - hope you get to see dr tomorrow and he can put your mind at rest. When he is up for food, tell CM to restrict him to the BRAT diet for the first day of food again to see how he's doing

MmeLindt · 25/03/2010 21:21

AuldAlliance
Poor wee soul, it is horrible when they are ill. Get him tested for novo and salmonella if he is still ill tomorrow. DS had salmonella when he was 5mths old. It is unlikely that he has it, but I would get him tested to be on the safe side.

thehillsarealive · 25/03/2010 21:23

jesus - cant keep up with you lot!

I am off to watch something on tv then got reading to do. got my phone set up for my walk tomorrow - have mislaid my pedometer... but DH showed me how my phone can do allsorts of funky things, maps, gps, distance, calories the whole shebang.

will report tomorrow.

night

YoginiBikini · 25/03/2010 21:24

Have read all the latest but can't remember who said what now.

Love the pie chart undertone.

I was 11.10, now 10.13 and a half, need to be 9.7 to look okay, ideally 9 and a bit. that's a long way to go still

weigh in properly tomorrow

we're all in the same boat i guess, even the skinny minnies

My birthday at the weekend

I'm hoping for a surprise party

MamaGoblin · 25/03/2010 21:35

Yogini - but you've already come down a hell of a lot - you can do it!

BecauseImWorthIt · 25/03/2010 21:47

Will be weighing in tomorrow and using that as my start weight. So won't be bothering the statto quite yet!

Today I have had:

B - cheese omelette
L - 2 lamb chops, spinach with garlic butter and sprouts
D - roast pork, broccoli and sprouts

Have eaten some cheese and am drinking white wine now.

cyb · 25/03/2010 21:48

ooh I could SO do a cheese omlette now

LadyBlaBlah · 25/03/2010 21:51

My wind is getting worse. I have just been to aerobics and had to leave the room to let one go.

I don't think I should cook any more of this lentil soup

mrsjuan · 25/03/2010 21:51

mmm I love lamb chops.
DH has invited people round for takeaway tomorrow night. How can I be virtuous without looking like a saddo?

MmeLindt · 25/03/2010 21:56

MrsJ
Could you eat really light breakfast and lunch? Just fruit and a yogurt?

LeSingeEstDansLarbre · 25/03/2010 21:59

go for baked meat, tandoori etc and a biiiiiiiig salad or broccoli or somesuch and low fat yog. a bit of boiled rice if you really must.

MamaGoblin · 25/03/2010 22:02

Feel like I've eaten loads today.

B - branflakes and skimmed milk
3 corn thins
L - leftover veg stir fry and leftover roast veg. Nibble of DS's sausage to encourage him.
Apple
Reduced-fat lemon sponge pudding. But worth it.
Frozen grapes
Mini-sized chocolate cheerio cake...
One chicken drumbstick roasted on top of veg, tiny portion of rice. No wine.

largeginandtonic · 25/03/2010 22:02

Sorry Auld to scare and run. The noro is rare. Sure it is just a hideous gastro bug that will run it's course soon. The key is restricting his diet.

White food, grated apple. No dairy at all. Blue picked up very quickly when she could tolerate food again. Back to a porker now

Am off to bed. The pasta is making me crash and want biscits. Mil did prawns, mange tout, chilli, lemon and linguini. I left most if the linguini. Would normally have eaten the lot.

mrsjuan · 25/03/2010 22:03

yes - tandoori a good idea - thanks.
Plus will do light breakfast and lunch and lots of hoovering.

YoginiBikini · 25/03/2010 22:04

Thanks MamaGoblin

Cheese omelette mmmmm.... I've been having omelette for breakfast as I find it keeps me going far longer. Having tons of parsley in mine

LadyBlaBlah, sorry I keep chuckling thinking of you

Indian MrsJuan? The dry meats are best aren't they? Like chicken tikka. Plain rice...bla bla bla

I like MmeLindts idea though. Habits for life. I need to learn them again and use them. Out with gluttony

SuSylvester · 25/03/2010 22:04

omg my boobs are deffo smaller

SuSylvester · 25/03/2010 22:05

LeSingeEstDansLarbre · 25/03/2010 22:10

make a mint raita as well. in fact when i have people round for an indian i tend to make the curry and some spiced rice (add cinnamon sticks and cumin and cardamon) and yoghurty, mangoey dips. then order in the pakora, naan bread, chapatis etc. oh god i want a curry.
