I have 'love handles' and 32dd boobs and just don't feel great

NomDePlume · 25/03/2010 20:30

I am know it is a loserville

WTF was that about ?! Sorry, I appear to have had some sort of brain fart whilst typing

LeSingeEstDansLarbre · 25/03/2010 20:31

medium soft boiled egg, shelled and mashed up in a cup with butter and salt and pepper. staple saturday night tea with white toast in the scotland of the seventies.

MmeLindt · 25/03/2010 20:33

I can put on loads of weight before it shows in my face. Not ideal.

NomDePlume · 25/03/2010 20:34

PMSL. Good old Mum.

LeSingeEstDansLarbre · 25/03/2010 20:36

no, that's the ideal. i put it on first in my face and take it off last there. i look like the moon on legs.

duckyfuzz · 25/03/2010 20:36

lol su aren't mums great

NomDePlume · 25/03/2010 20:39

is DH canoeing for charidee, su ?

gherkinwithapurplemerkin · 25/03/2010 20:40

Don't have a mum but do have dad who is just like that. And 2 skinny sisters (beetches)

MmeLindt · 25/03/2010 20:43

No, it is not good, LeSinge. I don't catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror and think, "God, you heifer, time to go on a diet" cause if I dress well I can hide the weight and still look reasonably good.

NomDePlume · 25/03/2010 20:43

also, fellow big titters - do you find that you only have to put on a bit over your ideal (say half a stone) to all of a sudden look matronly ? I do. [flashback to science museum photo]. When you are slim the big boobs, small frame look can be difficult to dress without looking slutty or over frumping but when you are bigger than you'd like (ime) everything looks matronly

duckyfuzz · 25/03/2010 20:45

I have skinny sister and even skinnier SIL - she is so tiny she looks like she'll break when she gives birth in 2 months' time

In fact what to feed skinny dietician SIL when she comes for Easter weekend with my foodie DB?

gherkinwithapurplemerkin · 25/03/2010 20:46

I always look fucking matronly, Nom.
Had referral from GP to see if NHS would reduce the buggers but Wuzzer PCT only do it for cases of severe, longterm muscular-skeletal problems.

NomDePlume · 25/03/2010 20:49

Yeah, funding for reductions is seriously restricted. Is there no way that you could have it done privately ?

NomDePlume · 25/03/2010 20:50

Or failing that, develop a hunchback or summat.

McBitchy · 25/03/2010 20:50

My friend had a reduction on NHS recently

She did lighter life and lost a couple of stone - boobs looked awful - rang doctor and had telephone consult

he referred her

8 weeks later jobs a good 'un

so easy !

gherkinwithapurplemerkin · 25/03/2010 20:52

Can't afford the 6K
Hunchback? that I could do! Leans over

NomDePlume · 25/03/2010 20:53

Postcode lottery mcbitchy . Mate obviously lives in an area where funding is easier to come by. I have known cases where funding has been approved in cases of serious mental distress (ie no serious physical health problems resulting from the breasts themselves).

NomDePlume · 25/03/2010 20:55

sorry, that last bit was meant for gherkin. £6k is a lot to find! The bloke who does them (or one of them, he's the Clinical Director at WRH) is excellent. Very good post op infection track record, excellent recovery times and happy patients.

NomDePlume · 25/03/2010 20:57

I hope you can find a way though. Are yours like mine in that they don't shrink no matter what size you are ? Although, yours are bigger than mine to start with!

dinkystinky · 25/03/2010 20:57

Nom - I too have 32FF boobs regardless of whatever weight I am at that time - and yes, when stacking on the weight I tend to look matronly (live in perpetual fear of turning into a big hipped big boobed indian mama just like all my aunties and my mum....)

Have had virtuous salmon, broccoli and carrot salad dinner thanks to my lovely DH tonight.

gherkinwithapurplemerkin · 25/03/2010 20:59

Oooh forgot it was your job! Yes, thye stay the same. Am hoping for a cup size or so down as part of the skinny thing.

Anyway nuff nork talk!

NomDePlume · 25/03/2010 21:01

bravo dinky!

The boobs thing is a PITA but at least they don't inflate and deflate and we don't end up with spaniels ears. Try to look on the bright side girls

largeginandtonic · 25/03/2010 21:01
