OK, during the last thread I managed to lose the grand total of...nothing in fact I am a few pounds up [sigh]

Have lost maybe an inch from bust waist and hips so that is something I guess, but I will not be in the same position at the start of the next thread. Sazz Someone give me a stern talking to

Hurrah hots well done you on your new resolve Smile

My September has stumbled already in the face of Wagamama's where i managed to polish off 1 1/2 main courses. Ooops Blush

hotterpotter · 01/09/2010 21:33

Day 1 of the September challenge has gone pretty well, no biscuits, no sweets, plenty of water, 12000 steps and I have shredded for the first time in well over a month Shock The only trouble is I felt something go ping in my right calf and it's a bit sore now. Hoping it was just a pull otherwise I'm scuppered before I start...

Mmmmm I've only ever been to Wagamamas once but thought it was yummy, sounds like you had a busy day though Sazz so I'm sure the half a dinner extra has all been used up shopping chasing after toddlers Grin

Hurrah, well done hots
Massage it well tonight and hope for the best.

Tea has been diet coke and plums in an attempt to atone....

hotterpotter · 02/09/2010 09:52

Not as keen on the sound of your tea Sazz Grin hope you managed to avoid any later-on picking.

My leg is still hurting today , am hopin a walk at lunchtime will help to stretch it otherwise my 30-day shredding will have to wait again. Or I could just sit on the sofa and throw punches towards Jillian for 20 minutes Grin

Hungry now...

CrispyTheCrisp · 02/09/2010 09:58

Morning Hotsy SmileSmile

Sorry to hear of poorly leg. Ouch Sad. Throwing heavy objects punches at Gillian sounds like a plan Grin

Been to the gym this morning, ran 6k, 20 mins powerplate & 100 sit ups. Must do some more work now. Laters......

hotterpotter · 02/09/2010 20:25

Leg still too sore for shredding so may have a bath instead [excuses] but it's definitely better than it was so holding out some hope for shredding tomorrow instead. Can't go swimming as am driving to Huddersfield (oh the glamour...) at lunchtime tomorrow to pick up a pushchair I won on ebay.

Well done with all that exercise at the gym Sazz. Have you managed to be good with food too? I have had no biscuits again and although it was sausages in a tomato sauce for tea I mainly had jacket potato and carrots. Hungry now though! Better have a drink of water instead.

CrispyTheCrisp · 02/09/2010 20:40

Well done on the biscuit swerve Hots Smile

Food ok thanks. Special K, egg salad & packet of skips and then steamed red snapper with new pots and a yoghurt. Looking forward to my (oven baked) fish & chips tomorrow Grin

hotterpotter · 03/09/2010 08:56

+1 again here but just got my period so hoping it's water and will be amazingly down 5 next week...

VintageGardenia · 03/09/2010 09:03

Present though not 100 per cent correct.

Have taken up the shred again (rather foolishly did it with double weights to make up for lost time - can now literally not move my right shoulder & am going to get it massaged into limberishness later on today.

Have been good with water, still not managed to run yet but due to time and childcare not lack of will (honest guv).

Tried on a pair of jeans which I was wearing comfortably in the spring, they feel like a corset now. NOT GOOD.

hotterpotter · 03/09/2010 10:33

Know what you mean VG, my lovely purple flower dress which I wore at Sazzes only still fits me because it has got a flarey skirt Blush in fact I have put on 10lb in the past two months Shock and probably some more if you include the muscle dissolving away too...

Hope your arm is feeling better now, shoulder is a bugger as you just can't rest it can you Sad My leg is much better today so hoping to shred tonight to work up a thirst for some wine (one benefit of not being pg Grin)

I was doing really well until on of DH's clients delivered us a homemade curry and all the trimmings last night as a thank you to DH for rushing a job through. I walked past the Wii fit and it shivered and shrunk away from me in fear!

CrispyTheCrisp · 03/09/2010 18:44

1lb up. Bollox. But i guess after the wedding/bank holiday weekend, 3 days wasn't going to turn that around Hmm

Hots i am 6lb up from 2 months ago too, so we MUST focus.

Grin
VintageGardenia · 03/09/2010 20:35

Come on gels.

My shoulder is not a true bugger-up ifswim as it's just the muscles getting a bit of a shock, I'm not actually injured.

Oh roll on next week and school routine and running.

pots don't you let that muscle dissolve away. What would Jillian say? (new thread title WWJS? or perhaps WWJD?

DO NOT QUIT ON ME NOW

Shall we do baby steps - i.e. Let's have a shred-in tomorrow, we all faithfully swear to shred? oopsy are you doing this? perhaps you could do an alternative - 20 mins of hard exercise.

hotterpotter · 03/09/2010 20:43

Jillian would say 'fuck me! hots has shredded Shock on a Friday night Shock' well maybe she wouldn't swear but still...

Agree that it's the exercise that's going to be the shrinking of us, and although I have already misssed one day of September I'm NOT going to miss any more [determined]

hotterpotter · 03/09/2010 20:45

Glad to hear your shoulder is OK VG [phew] I must confess I was nearly dying at the end with those side-to-side legs & arm raises. Upped the squash bottles weights to 1kg and it burns

OP posts:
CrispyTheCrisp · 03/09/2010 20:46

Saturday shred Confused

Oh christ, you know i can't refuse a challenge

Jillian - wash your mouth out Shock

hotterpotter · 03/09/2010 20:53

I know, am a bit Confused and also Hmm at the thought of a weekend shred but it's only half an hour and works up a thirst for some wine Grin

OP posts:
VintageGardenia · 03/09/2010 21:00

hotterpotter · 03/09/2010 21:17
