As promised here is the thread. Let's psyche ourselves up to do it this time.

Let's weigh next week. I think SL did the lovely chart last time but fear she may actually have lost her weight for good, so perhaps we can just post weights, losses, recipes etc.

Great to see you, my fellow porkers . Nice to know I am not the only one still fat.

I've lost another 2lbs. So I have lost half a stone now.

sybilfaulty · 10/02/2010 09:35

Well done Kayz, that's great news.

I lost another lb at WW yesterday, so that's 10lb in total since the start of the year. However, I did trough a pizza and lots of wine yesterday night so had better not get too complacent

Hope you are all doing well.

Oh dear, bad news bears here unfortunately, it seems all that weight I lost whilst sick had come straight back on again, I'm back up to 70.7kg (I was 70.9 but I took my watch & bracelet off). I have started running now so hopefully it will help. Also I've put my gears onto the biggest chainring at the front so it is harder to cycle when I go out on the bike with the boys.

Well done to everyone else.

Kayzr · 11/02/2010 09:12

It's not that bad Veggie. You'll be back under 70kg soon.

According to the walking magazine we get standing up helps you lose weight. I stand all day at my job so why am I not a size 10 yet???

Kayzr · 17/02/2010 12:33

Half a pound on. But I don't mind as it was valentines day and my cycle is loony and my period arrived 5 days early.

daisydora · 22/02/2010 17:31

Found you!!!

Right I think I have lost the grand tota of 2lb since we started this thread..pathetic. Anyway I have finally bought some scales, so I will weigh on Weds and hopefully a bit more will come off as I have been running 3 times this past week, and I have tried to cut out the bread. Its my weakness, too much toast and butter.

daisydora · 24/02/2010 09:03

Where are you all??

Well I appear to have lost 3lb! Hooray....

sybilfaulty · 03/03/2010 11:27

I'm here !!!!!

I've just lost another 1.5lb, so am at 11.5lb in total. Still a big fat pig, though.

Nice to see you Daisy. 3lb is fantastic. What we can do to keep each other motivated?

How is everyone else doing?

Well done sybs!

I stayed the same this week but it was AF, so I am hoping for a loss next week

Are you exercising? I find it guarantees a pound or two off if I am good and get out for a run at least 2/3 times a week. BTW are you at ww? I can't remember, I am following it but at home. I find lots of zero point soup is the way forward!!

There is lots of talk about others coming back, if I figure out how I might link to it to encourage us!

Kayzr · 08/03/2010 09:07

I have now lost a stone since Xmas!! I am really pleased but I would like it to come off a bit faster!

sybilfaulty · 10/03/2010 06:45

Kayz, that is fantastic! Well done you! I know it is slower than you would like but slow weight loss is better for you and is likely to be permanent. If you do a fad diet and lose 10lb in a fortnight or something daft, then it goes back on in days once you eat a normal meal.

Daisy, I think AF has a big part to play. I get a bit bloated before my period but it seems to go afterwards. I am doing WW but very loosely - generally eating sensibly (most of the time), cutting back on the booze and uppping the exercise. I do 3 miles a day on the school run and I am swimming about 2.5 miles a week, which has really kicked it up a gear. That said, I met an old friend last night for wine and tapas, which was not exactly diet food, but I've a whole week til the next weigh in.

I lost 2.5lb at fatties yesterday, so that's a stone off since Christmas for me too. I'm going to try to get another half stone off and then see how I look / feel before deciding to stop.

Zero points soup is great, esp if you add lots of pepper, tabasco etc. If I can;t be bothered to cook, most veg based soups from cans are not too high in points either.

Hang on in there girls. We can do it.

Hello! It's quiet in here! I'm 79.8 which is more or less what I was before I got knocked up, so given that I am 12 weeks on Mon I am pleased with myself. It is still hugely fat but maybe if I can be sooper dooper careful about what I eat over the next 6 months I can really minimise weight gain and go for it when it's all over...Been a bit crap on the old exercise this week though.
