Cereal bar for breakfast.

Cottage cheese, ham, new potatoes (no butter!) and salad for lunch - and half a pear and a few crisps.

Haven't decided on dinner yet. Might have a jacket potato, prawns and salad.

despite the excessive crisp consumption I have lost 3 lbs so far this week.

Hi ks, nice to see you here! Well, not on this thread since it means you are fat but ykwim!
Today

2 pieces toast, marmite
half an avocado
smoked salmon and cucumber sandwich
banana
couple of cherry tomatoes
slice of garlic pizza, oops
quarter of dd's cheese sandwich
and tonight we're having tuna steaks and roasted veg
not too bad. I have decided I will drink on Fridays only. I can't quite face a whole month of dieting with NO wine.

aloha · 08/06/2005 17:24

Ks, did you see the article on Dyslexia in the Sunday (gulp) Telegraph? By that actress woman who is married to Trevor Nunn - they have a severely dyslexic son.
Thought it was interesting.

WideWebWitch · 08/06/2005 18:21

WideWebWitch · 08/06/2005 18:21

I have Slimmer's Greatest Guide to Calories, want me to look?

WideWebWitch · 08/06/2005 18:24

Onion bhaji, 109 cal each
Veg samosa, 217 each
I was right, tandoori chicken is 214 cal per portion, as opposed to chicken tikka masala at 680cal/portion
veg curry also low ish at 210cal/portion
Beef kheema is 780cal!

jampots · 08/06/2005 18:34

may try and force him elsewhere - what is the best option for me?

jampots · 08/06/2005 18:34

oh and thanks WWW

WideWebWitch · 08/06/2005 18:49

Go and have tandoori chicken! The best option is a salad bar but you know that and it doesn't exactly make for a romantic evening!

grumpymarthamoo · 08/06/2005 18:54

Dinner: baked potato, with a filling made from chopped up cold chicken, spring onions, sweetcorn, sliced apple and mayo/0% fat Greek yoghurt. Huge salad with everything in it - radishes, red onion, carrots, peppers the lot. Was so huge I got a bit bored eating it.

Accidentally ate one Jaffa cake while feeding the rest of the pack to the kids so I couldn't eat them tonight. But just one and there are none left now.

Have two points left so I think I will have a Skinny Cow choc fudge ice lolly. AND NO CRISPS!

grumpymarthamoo · 08/06/2005 18:59

jampots - WeightWatchers recommended choice for an Indian meal is:

2 chicken tikka pieces (2)
1/2 portion vegetable curry (5)
1/2 portion plain Basmati rice (3)
1/2 pint of lager (1)
Total: 11 (you're allowed about 20 points a day to give you an idea)

Sorry - nothing about a big fat Peshwari naan, chicken dhansak, onion bhajis and 5 pints of Cobra!

motherinferior · 08/06/2005 19:02

Sod the diet, DP just got a new job, am swigging pink fizz, will be back to as close as normal as I get tomorrow [insert tiddly hicupping emoticon]

Sat here again with my glass of white wine haven't done to bad today, porridge with drizzle of honey, cup a soup, banana, new potatoes, pilau rice with chopped grilled sausage & leafy salad (couldn't manage it all though!) Got strawberries & yoghurt for later.

Haven't been to the gym all week but did drag DH all round town today trying to find a kiddie swap.
