Oops well done on the gym If you need a graph I have a spreadsheet at work (and I think Sazz has one too) where I just put in my weight every day once a week and it draws the graph for me. Would be happy to email it to you if you want

Remember too, it's not the actual weight that really matters, more the lovely sight of it going down week by week. Whatever weight I was when I started I am still 21lb less than I was then

Half a bucket of wine consumed but no crisps, yay me. Helps massively that we haven't actually got any

I meant the Wii lies.

HP yes please e-mail me your spread sheet.

Have horrible sicky & headachey period and feel anti-food in almost pregnant way. Trying to drink lots of water to flush out headache. Even though feel like crap am thinking it's good I don't feel like eating.

Tis how twisted I have become.

Hoep you steered clear of the bacon butty hotster.

Oops good work at the gym! I am going in the morning so will try to emulate you.

Sazzles I bet you looked sensational at the wedding & i hope the food & drink suited you.

VG hope you are feeling better . I'm gently LOLing at the silver lining you have found though I was the same when I had swine flu, thinking I feel like shit but no appetite, hurrah

Sazz sounds like you have had a fabbo time, mmm all that food sounds delicious You have gone down 8lb in the last two weeks so can afford a little excess. No doubt your sesible eating for the rest of the week will counteract the extra calories for the weekend. After all, eating is one of the great pleasures in life, we are just reprogramming ourselves that it's OK to eat more sometimes as long as we balance it out with a bit of self-restraint

I have been reasonably good - no bacon butty even though DH had one Food mainly OK, just a few biscuits and 2 mini smartie cakes brought by the GPs on Saturday Have amazed myself by going on the bike for 1/2 hour last night and tonight so have done my 4x 30 minutes this week . Still got a massive muffin top from my new skirt and less than 4 weeks till holiday. Time to look up that 10 minute abs thing TS mentioned on the last thread I think...

I haven't been particularly good this weekend however I haven't resorted to previous atrocious ways - shall pick myself up tomorrow though as my 1/2 stone off was a good starting point and I don't want to slip backwards

DH and I did manage some excercise this morning and there was a considerable amount of walking/pram pushing/standing about today if that redeems me at all?!!?

was hoping to get swim/gym or something this week but DH has just realised that his 6000 word essay is due in 2wks so think it'll be out walking with the pram weather permitting - and thats not an excise re a little drizzle, the rain up here recently has lept back up off the pavement and smacked up on the face

he only lost a pound on it but I had a stern chat with him with regards to it not being a sodding miracle drug and it could only help with a reasonable diet too. I was chucking down loads of water etc but I think he managed one day on the water - am not going to nag him about it though and shall gently nudge him in the right direction again tomorrow - he may very well take off for run or ride on the bike tomorrow if it means he doesn't need to get wired into his essay

Morning all

DD booked for the creche on Friday, I will have an early swim tomorrow then seeing PT on Wednesday. Just have to decide whether to do gym or pilates on Friday. Which will give me 4 sessions for the week.

I yelled at persuaded DH yesterday that the food in our house needs to change. He is very much a cottage pie + bread, lasagne and chips man apart from the occasional short lived 'diet'. Lots of veg and water, few carbs and keeping a food diary is on the agenda for the nest week for both of us.

Sazzles - hope you manage to get your exerSazz sorted.

Dizzy - Xenical worked amazingly for me but I did cut down the carb portions and drank so much water that I spent the first week on the loo but not for the side effects everyone thinks!

hotterpotter · 07/09/2009 08:04

Morning all

Well for the first time in nearly 4 months I have managed to get to Monday weighing less than I did on Friday, hurrah That whole no crisps thing must really work

Here's to a healthy week for all

Sazz have you dared get on the scales this morning?

OP posts:
dizzydixies · 07/09/2009 09:58

am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo tired due to sickly baby but fighting the urge to carb it up and chugging down the water instead

may venture out to do a leaflet drop seeing as its not raining and who knows when that will happen again

very very VERY of all those who have a gym with a creche - we're still in the dark ages up here

VintageGardenia · 07/09/2009 12:51

Oh no poor Dylan hope she's ok. Do keep the water going. I am doing it via apple juice spritzers at the moment, one third apple juice to two thirds fizzy water, tis yum.

Went to gym, creche this morning. Creche was horrible. We left. On way home visited another gym (someone I know goes there & had said creche was lovely, it's also nearer my house) & they have an offer on waiving the joining fee. Monthly rate is the same and the creche is lovely, women in it are lovely, and it's free (the other one is 6 quid a go). So I am changing gyms.

They had 12 month old crawling babies in with 5 year olds in shoes. Lots of hitting and shouting, frazzled atmosphere, one of the girls reeked of smoke. The new one is cool and calm, the ladies have worked there for years, it's just so much nicer. Quite upset this morning actually .

DH and I walked into town pushing the buggy and back at high speed which is 20mins each way. The back at high speed was because I needed a wee but was very good cardio DH even broke a sweat trying to keep up.

Mushroom rissotto and roasted chicken thigh for dinner. Had a sarnie for lunch but it was all that was on offer. so had 1/2 and 2 bottles of water.

VintageGardenia · 08/09/2009 19:24

LOL at high speed walking for loo emergency, sounds like most of my walks, oops!

Sazz yes you'll get rid of that again - you know a lot of it is probably water retention, doesn't that happen with high alcohol intake (no offence! ), so get quaffing. My dp is good too, he eats whatever it is, he has made the politest faces some nights, but is happy enough. He's training for the marathon next month so wants to be in good shape (well he is already in brilliant shape but healthy eating all to the good).

I have a night of silence here, no work to do tonight, dp gone to pub to meet mate over from London, ds2 asleep, ds1 at football and then chez dad. What WILL I do with myself mmmmm I will watch TELEVISION and do some knitting of ds's hat and drink the rest of my fizzy water allocation for the day and luxuriate in the peace. Ooh and later a bath.

Blisssssssss.

VintageGardenia · 08/09/2009 19:25

I don't think someone with my kind of boobs could run a marathon actually!

I'm laughing at having "drink water" on your to-do list! Must do the same myself, though would only be effective if I could actually find my to-do list.

Have a good day everyone, hydrating & moving & beautifying.
