Lexcat that is brillian - It's so nice when you can actually start to see and feel the difference yourself. I haven't told anyone what I am doing, other than my husband so I am just waiting for people to start noticing - they haven't yet but hopefully it won't be too long.

LTR - which club are you joining?

paranoidmother · 24/06/2009 09:40

well done lexcat that is fantastic.

I weighed and have lost another 1lb which makes 11lb for the last month overall I think. had a bad day yesterday as went out for a belated birthday meal and then cinema. Mind you didn't eat half as much as I would have done a few months ago so I think it's all coming undercontrol.
I'm loving the feeling after exercise and have been shopping for a pair of trousers a size smaller, which means that every time I wear them i have a huge grin on my face as i know i'm getting smaller

Good luck to you all >

lexcat · 24/06/2009 12:55

Well done to everyone keep it up.

Started bad in the week so am so pleased I'm down another 2.5 lbs. Finally over the stone mark. I'm on a roll and I can't stop now, Having every one's support helps so thanks guys, I can't wait to see the next stone. Best thing is seeing it for myself in my clothes have high hopes to go down a size with the next stone.

I love see all our progess all in print some how it makes it offical and helps spur me on. Which is what I really need after almost 3 months of yo-yoing with very slow progess.

LovingTheRain · 24/06/2009 18:59

Even better then my weigh loss is our overall total drum roll please 3 1/2 stone. Amazing progress girls.

Start week bad already as just been to McDonald's for tea. Was a teat for dd for a clean bill of health from the dentist. Got to make up for my slip over the next week just loving this smaller me which is starting to show with my clothes.

What I really want is to be able to go to any shop and know the clothes I love will fit and look good.

Thanks again to everyone it really helps knowing their is someone in the same boat tying to reach similar goals.

LTR you can do it and you will we look forward to see your progress.

Have been on SW for 3 whole days now and loving it!! Feeling great so will be reporting a weight loss next week

paranoidmother · 29/06/2009 18:27

Well have managed exercise most days but then ended up missing out on any extra exercise yesterday so hoping to do some more tonight. Perhaps will watch the Supersizers whilst doing it!! (Anything to stop me feeling hungry whilst watching a food program)

So far I haven't lost any more this week but hoping to lose another 6lbs in the next 2 weeks if possible so will keep working on it.

LovingTheRain · 30/06/2009 15:21

Have been swimming everyday as it's soo hot. Hoping for a good loss at slimming club tomorrow night. Or as it is lovingly called in my house by my family "Fat club"!
My Ds said to me yesterday "Is fat club like DDDs ballet class?" Nice to know my 5 yo assumes fat people can only go to clubs with other fat people whether they are slimming clubs or not. I did explain to him it wasn't like that!

My goodness, you lot are doing really well! That is amazing

I've just started again and have lost 2lb so far but that's only in a couple of days so it doesn't count! I know I know, step away from the scales!

EyeballsandherSunburntNorks · 30/06/2009 15:31

OMFG I just looked up the list to where I posted my starting weight!

I'm more now!

paranoidmother · 30/06/2009 16:13

Eyeballs - don't worry with all this hot weather we'll sweat off the weight I think.

I've lost another lb which I think makes my total = 12lb nearly at a stone. I can't wait till I get the first stone out of the way.

lexcat · 30/06/2009 20:24

Great to see you back eyeballs. Since our weigh in is tomorrow I put you in today to get the ball rolling for the morning.

Don't know what it is about me,scales have gone mad (that's the 2nd set to do so) I couldn't believe my eyes when it read 1.5 stone lighter then last week so tried again this time it was about 1/2 stone heavier. Tried again a few times in tell I got the same reading a few times. So if I can trust the scales another good week.

Can I join ?? I am the heaviest I have ever been, even when I was 9 months pregnant with my first child. I am now 92kgs?? I think that is 14.4 stone which is alot for my 15ocm frame. We only moved to the UK 5 weeks ago and I have been eating everything to try to make my happy but its not working. I would love some support and you have all done so well.I am starting tomorrow, I wonder what it will be like going to sleep without a full stomach ??? I think wonderful.

LTR So pleased for you that is an excellent start you much be so chuffed.

LovingTheRain · 02/07/2009 10:32

thank-you Yup i am feeling pretty great. Maybe all this heat is helping me to sweat it out. I seem to spend the whole morning doing housework (with MN breaks of course!!) and lay in the pool in the afternoon till i have to pick up DCs. Am sure i should be doing more but it takes my mind off food so can't complain!

Just my luck dd has fractured her elbow looks like a lot of my summer holiday going to at home.

Not great as I'm much better been busy as it keeps me for snacking. But a child in plaster means no swimming and no bike rides, looks like I'm going to be left with walking as my only exercise great.
